Actually the worst service of all time. Server barely acknowledges you. They walk around or hide in the back the entire time and wait 20 minutes after giving you the checks to come and get your form of payment. It was an interesting dining experience. The restaurant was entirely empty besides one other table. It seemed the waitress was also the host. She was lovely and very kind 10/10. The food however, left something to be desired. The pumpkin spice pancakes were delicious, but the hash browns and the sausages were not. The hashbrowns were just stale and hard, i can't really describe them any other way. Aside from that though, it wasn't a bad experience. I went here a few days ago. I walked in, & the place smelled like horse manure! I waited 15 minutes to be seated (strangely enough, the place was not very busy). I brought my family here :( My granddaughter took a bite of the food!!! I will never return and I will be sure to pass the word on that this place was horrible. Cold eggs, Cold hashbrowns, cold pancakes. Ugh. The waitress warmed the breakfast up for us in the oven or microwave but after the reheat job we weren't really interested. 20% was taken off our bill and the final total was just about $47.00. we were seated immediately, but it was 2:00 in the afternoon so it was not that busy. There were two adults and two children in our party, so waiting a half hour for someone to come over was a bit annoying. We all ordered pancakes, nothing extreme. The "manager" Richard waited on us, or should I say took our order. I ordered coffee. and it arrived with no cream or sugar and none was offered. The remaining drinks arrived and I then asked for cream and sugar. After a little under an hour, seriously, our food arrived. There was no apology for it taking so long, etc. we never got the chance to get drink refills so we finished our meals and waited for the bill. This was another 30 minutes. Other patrons got up and left without paying while others waited in line at the front desk - all were annoyed. Living in the area, I must say I would not have chosen IHOP, but for some reason children like it. In this case, there was adequate staff - 5 servers, 1 busboy, cooks and the manager. With this amount of help the service should not be as poor as it was. The blame is solely on the shoulders of the manager, who could not even get his own orders handled, never mind manage anyone else. With the COVID many of us have become more tolerant of waiting and so so service. This was more than that. read more

This place isn't newly renovated but the location is convenient and the food was made well. Jessica is a supervisor and she was amazing with my kids. I can really relate to the ease of her placing us in a booth with so much room and getting the food out so fast. My kid left a summer reading book inside and she even came out to give it to us. No surprises but lots of pancakes This is an IHOP located right on RT 44. Lots of parking and it's open 24 hours, can't get any more convenient than that. The pancakes are great and that's probably why I've never ordered anything else here. Sure it's not a gourmet restaurant but what they do, they do extremely well. No surprises, you get exactly what they advertise. What makes this particular IHOP exceptional is the service. Even when it's busy the people are quick and very pleasant. Not just pleasant but actually friendly and nice. Even when I drag my butt in here at 3 am they always seem glad to see me and take care of my gluttony. The last time I ate there was about 1 year ago and I have eaten there many times before whereas the service as well as the food was worth coming back for. Today I went there, there were 4 of us and we all ordered breakfast. First of all, don't get any of the eggs benedict. We had two orders and both had about 1 tablespoon of dry looking hollandaise sauce on them. When I cut into my egg the yolk on both were like hard boiled eggs, needless to say, I asked them to take it back, and I just ordered bacon and eggs with toast and hash browns, which were ok except for the hash browns. By this time everyone was almost done eating. The other order of eggs benedict that another of our party had was exactly the same as mine, hard yolks, but he ate it anyway because the service was so slow and he was starving. My other guests also told me that the hash browns tasted funny, not like they used to taste. That's when I tried mine and they were right. They tasted like cardboard, definitely frozen and a rectangular shape unlike the older fresh, misshapen ones that tasted like potatoes. In addition, another of our guests had problems with her order as well, so 3 out of four had problems with their breakfast. The only saving grace was the manager whose name is Ignastio (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) he was extremely apologetic and comped the bill. It seems that he was the only one who cared, all the others seemed to care less. This was the only time ever that no tip was left. Definitely would not go there again. read more

Who runs this place? Is there a manager? I work retail and would never be an ass to kids but this place is terrible. I walked in after a basketball game with my kid. No joke, we got seated right away. 25 mins passed with out a word. No hello we will be with you in a minute or a drink. Radio silence. I was not even in a hurry but Jesus what do you do? We got up to leave and the same person that sat us saw us leaving. Not a single word and again and we did not yell or say anything because it gets you nowhere. We arrived around 11:25 our party 2 children, 2 adults. The place smelled like piss or bad cleaner. We should have turned around and left at that point. The hostess told us it was a five minute wait. That's fine. We were seated after the five minutes and the hostess forgot the kids menus and never returned with them. Our waitress quite literally took 15 minutes to come over, then left us with no drinks for another 20. She was RUDE beyond belief and never once apologized for the food taking an hour. The table next to us straight up walked out. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Absolutely ridiculous. My wife I decided to have a late breakfast . We went to our favorite spot , IHOP in Raynham . First off the busboy ended up seating us but that was fine he was friendly enough . But the waitress that waited on us definitely had a major attitude from the get go ! When we ordered i said my normal thank you and please . But still got attitude . My wife had dropped her knife and she asked for a clean one . Never got it by the way . We waited over 45 min for the food and when she finally arrived with the food my wife asked again for the clean knife as well as the rest of our order . While we waited for her to come back realized the food was ice cold and the waitress throws some plastic silverware down and says we don't have any clean stuff with a major attitude ! Unbelievable what this restaurant has come up !! If she doesn't like her job maybe she should find another one ! Nothing was done about it or as far as I know her ! Where's the management ?? Woke up on a Sunday morning with the craving of getting some pancakes. Me and my girl were both on the same page with going to get breakfast at the local IHOP. Haven't been to the location for about a year prior due to not a good experience but I gave this place a chance the same way people gave Donald Trump a chance to somehow become our president. Well look what happened, the outcome was what we didn't hope or expect. This can be said for the whole portion of time coming to dine in at IHOP. To start off, the front desk was full of people and not able to occupy the overflow of humans. When the desk was finally clear, nobody was found to be there. Eventually someone had showed up, and kept to themselves before 3-5 of awkward silence had passed to them greet us. They then showed us to our booth and disappeared to wherever they go to hide away from other diners. I took a seat and engaged in some casual conversation about breakfast related items, thinking in my mind about how I will get my combination of many great breakfast choices all in one meal. As stated before, this was a Sunday morning and I did expect to have to wait a few minutes to be served and have our orders taken. My expectation of a few minutes had turned into 10 minutes of staring out of a window and looking through the menu about a solid 4 times. Now I know what everyone is thinking, why wouldn't I have just said something to another waiter or waitress when they walked by? It was as if they were all running a marathon and trying to speed walk as fast as possible by the tables, they were in the zone like a major league gaming montage of Counter Strikes top 10 plays of the week. As painful as waiting at the DMV, the waitress had finally make it to the promised land of Jurassic Park or should I say the booth we were seated at. I had seen this particular waitress walk by the table multiple times and to begin her conversation, there was no mention or apology of the wait and delay. My girl had mentioned the delay we had experienced, for the reason of just letting the waitress know we have been patient customers and had felt we were getting ignored. The response recieved was in the rather "I really wish i weren't here right now tone" and was as follows; "Oh yeah, well it is busy." This exact response had added to the shaping of the unpleasant looking sculpture that was in my future of receiving. The next piece to the sculpture was to start ordering our breakfast meals and beverages. Since we both had so much time, more time then required to complete the task, as any construction job in taunton goes, we were eager to place our orders. The drinks were a simple task, suprisingly, but for the food portion it had a set of rules I was not aware of. My order in my mind planned was to get a single pancake, 2 scrambled eggs, some toast and bacon. I take my breakfast selections serious, and like to get around the breakfast pyramid to get all my essential breakfast choices in one meal. My girl places her order of some french toast and a water, painless. I begin to place my order starting with the pancake, an immediate roadblock is hit. A single pancake cannot be ordered, only in 3 or more can they be had, which I was given an attitude, an attitude that is given when a joke is made towards you by that kid in the class who has never met you and thinks he is all of a sudden the class bozo the clown. To many this is not a big deal, but with how my experience was going thus far, it did not make me so happy. I had to change up my choice which was quick and then the order was placed. To fast foward alittle in time, the order was recieved and we began to start eating. Right away I noticed the toast was burnt and the eggs were rather iffy in the warm department. The French toast was also a little questionable in it's quality. What really grinded my gears was when I took a forkful of my rather chill eggs and my eyes darted towards you will never guess, but yes, low and behold a single pancake on it's own plate. I'm not sure what hell broke loose in the back kitchen but someone was feeling like a rebel serving a single pancake, breaking up from that group of the minimum required 3 that needs to be ordered in that fashion. I'm betting the chief who sent that out was feeling the same way people do when you go into a test you didn't study for but you just think to yourself hey it's just 1 test it's not that big of a deal. The splitting of that pancake to that chief was rather painless and quick, but to this waitress, this was treated like her line was on the job, and this single pancake separation would not go unnoticed and not look good at all. Bottom line and final recap of this experience; IHOP has been around for quite some time now and has proved themselves in the breakfast community. With all the deals and specials advertised to the extreme close- ups of there quality food in their commercials, the food looks to be a great choice and nice place to eat. 3/5 read more

We never expect much from a pancake house, and we have lower expectations for the IHOP. But there are few places to go in this area for breakfast. We have been to this IHOP a couple of times when we were in the area and wanted some rich strawberry cheesecake pancakes. The service is usually okay and the food gives us a bellyache, so our trips to the IHOP are few and far between. That said, my wife and I were in the area for haircuts and decided to grab some breakfast. Big mistake. We waited an hour for our food. We waited 30 minutes for fountain drinks. People who arrived after US. We're served before us. The food was awful. But I would have eaten a boot at this point. In fact, a boot would have tasted better. I have visited this IHOP several times, every time I have been the AC is blasting, need to keep on your jacket while eating. The table was not clean, food on the floor, had to ask for utensils! The usual fare is served, like every IHOP, toast was stone cold, eggs were runny! Took a hour to get our food! The waitress was a sweetheart, poor girl just trying to earn some money, don't see how she will last there. Went for a quick bite today. Place was empty when I walked in. My breakfast was good this time. The eggs were better than the last time when they were too dry. Today they were good. Bacon was ok. Overcooked but that's how most people like it. Crispy Bacon isn't good. The coffee was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Now my biggest gripe was. Restaurant was dead quiet, I asked for a window in an empty area. The next two groups of people, are sat on either side of me! Why not sit them in the larger empty areas, versus crowding them all in this one section? I ended up moving to an empty table at the end to get back to being quiet. Decided to give this place one more chance. The last time my family and I went the service was just "ok". I've always loved IHOP since I was younger and my daughter loves their food. Aside from the half hour wait to be seated, we waited 55 minutes for our food to come out. In the meantime I asked for silverware for our table twice and was told it would be right out. It Never came. After the 55 minute wait, we still did not have silverware and couldn't eat our food as soon as it came. The same waitress told us she'd be right back with it and we waited another 5 minutes. To say we were upset at this point is an understatement. The food was cold and the whole experience was frustrating and not what we had set out for. Unfortunately, I think this was my family's last meal here.
