Went for breakfast. The restaurant does not have cream or half and half for coffee. They only carry milk Ordered the eggs benedict. The egg was cooked as hard as a golf ball, and the english muffin was not even toasted. We sent them back, and the replacement was completely raw. It was wiggling on the english muffin. At that point, I told the waitress the problem. She was very nice and understanding. we told her we didn't want it anymore, and she assured us she was sorry and didn't charge us . My uncle gave me an IHOP gift card for Xmas, which is the only reason I even bothered to get food here. I have only been to an IHOP twice and both times were forgettable. I can make better food at home. I decided to try one of the burgers and order one for my roomie and my babe. I ordered it on the website for takeout. They both got the Classic and were very disappointed that there was no place on the order page that lets you add ketchup and mustard. Since we didn't have any in the house, they went ahead and got the IHOP sauce on it. Roommate got fries as a side and babe got onion rings. I got the Jalapeno burger and the hash browns. We got there at the time when they said it would be ready and we live 5 minutes away, yet everything was ice box cold when we got it here. The onions rings were big and random and low on taste, but I saved them with some Zesty sauce I had from a trip to Burger King the other day. The burgers were okay at best. I will say I liked the bun and I am not really a huge bread fan. The light orangish tomato was another story. I did not find my burger to be particularly spicy despite the fact there was supposed to be spicy mayo, spicy cheese and jalapenos on it. My hash browns were super hard. My roommate said "meh huh...yeah yeah yeah" or something to that effect when I asked how she liked her food. I will be back here if someone else decides to offer a gift card. One of the few IHOP's I've ever enjoyed over the years but unfortunately the food has became almost inedible. After almost 3 years of missing out on my local ihop I excitingly visited here with my GF with high hopes as it was in the past. I first got an omelette that looked as it it had fallen from a 6 ft ladder. I got raw onions barely cooked , a big blob of cheese and eggs that felt as if they just came out of a bag of powder. In the past you would receive home fries and pancakes along with. Well that is no more. For an extra 8$ I got my once favorite home fries along with blueberry pancakes. That ended up being burnt string potatoes with no seasoning and 3 pancakes that looked like they came off a frozen slab and then covered in some cheap sugary blueberry compote. I dont know about weekdays, but on weekend is always packed during brunch, but 15-20min. wait isn't bad. Gotta give them a prop for opening 24hrs. This place seems huge from the outside, but inside is crampy. The food is consistent, crepe, pancakes, omelette, harsh brown, breakfast meats, burgers are good. Our plates are always hot when it got to us. What i dislike is the sausage has too much fat, and the french toast is dried. The boysenberry syrup is delicious, tastes very natural and not too sweet. Their hot coffee is unlimited for just $2.29 per person which sounds like a good deal, but i find it is watery. I'm a bit disappointed that they don't serve cappuccino, it would be nice if they could add it to the menu, I'm sure many people would order it. Staff are attentive, energenic, and friendly. Lighten up, everyone. It's an IHOP, in a close in urban setting. You don't go there for high class cuisine. You go there with normal people for honest, American food served by pleasant people and that's what I got. Just returning from two weeks in France, picking up a car parked at airport FOUR POINTS, (Recomended), lusting after potatoes, eggs, sausage. You can have just so many croissants with muddy coffee before you are delighted to see an IHOP sign. We had a delightful waitress, exactally the "55+" meal I wanted, a fair price, clean restrooms and a fine experience. I must add a very positive note, this was the very first time I have ever seen an American menu with Spanish translations. Having been so happy when I found similar English translations in France I think that's an incredible accommodation, both because it probably is financially advantageous and simply the right thing to do. read more

What can you expect more at an IHOP? Not much LOL. Last time I was here was back before it was shut down, but not they made a way better improvements on their interior. Very noice and more modern. It smells a little funky in here doe. Walking in it just smells weird. I can't describe what it is but it's not pleasant I can tell you. Food on the other hand is pretty decent! I visited this establishment this morning and ordered a breakfast to go, The food was good it was a little surprised when I asked for a couple of extra butter and the guy given me my takeout had to go ask the manager in the blue shirt if it was OK and her response was yes but you have to charge him, So after waiting several minutes and two extra people touching my delivery bag that was left on the counter they brought me over the extra butter and said that will be a dollar please, if I eat in the restaurant I've never been charged for extra butter, and I understand cost them but in doing business I just thought it was a little cheap of them, If I eat there again I'll make sure not to ask for a refill of water read more

I used to love coming here, but lately the service has been lacking. It's from the same server again and again. She complains that other customers don't give her tips, in front of the customers. In the past I've tried tp give this Ihop a past but yet again never seens to amaze me. I ordered some breakfast, online I might add, to be ready for pick up. I got there little past the pick up time and my order still wasn't correct. I went to collect the food (I always check the bags to be sure everything was correct). So I checked and I seen that I missing an item (or thought I was). In actuality, it was stacked under the in the same container. No biggie, my bad‼‼‍. But when I got home, I checked again and seen that yes I was actually missing an ITEM THAT I PAID FOR WHICH CAME WITH THE MEAL. No I had to call back there and ask where was my that I ordered and PAID FOR‼‼⁉. As my family was going through their respective orders, they found that they're orders of was under cooked and over cooked. Shame‼‼. Temporarily closed not due to a health code violation but recovering from a fire!! Have gone in with my two very, very young daughters and they did everything possible to help me not bother other customers (=keep kids happy!) and have a nice experience in the same breath. Usually there is a thing on their receipt where if you answer a survey you get a free small plate of pancakes or something on the next visit (if I remember correctly). There was a fire at this location-horrified to see it on the local news earlier this year-, and when I went by today in mid June 2014 I see it is still closed. I wrote to customer service from their website and they replied that they will publicize the opening about 60 days before it reopens. See bottom of review. Every time I have come in, the waitresses are exceptional. The food is FANTASTIC. Not healthy, but wonderful hearty comfort food. I love it here and it's worth the trip. I always bring food home with me, it's too much. I love the cheesecake strawberry pancakes best but they are seasonal item. This is definitely my northern favorite place equivalent to Waffle House. Limited parking is unfortunate. I would definitely recommend to avoid "rush hours" of when people sometimes eat (like, Sat at 10 am). Birthday club (email sign up) gives you something like $10 credit towards a delicious breakfast, it's a really nice treat! From today, customer service replied to my email inquiring about the fire: ..."As you know, the location experienced some damages from the fire, and the Franchise who owns and operates the Revere location is currently assessing the damages. It's an IHOP. You shouldn't have that many expectations on food and service. The food is greasy, heavy and flavorful for sure. Many of the waitresses are older so they tend to be nicer, more talkative and slower. Nothing beats breakfast at 2am though. So make sure to stop by and give this place some loving, since it has been through a lot in the past year. If I was you and want to come on a weekend I would come after 11am when the place has calmed down a tad; although when its busy thet really make that wait line move fast. So since my order was NOT READY for pick up when the website said it would be, I have plenty of time to write a review on how awful the service was today. The order took twice as long as the app said it would. Some how I was able to drive to the restaurant before the restaurant said that they got my order. I feel like that's a lie but okay. The girl told me 10 more minutes. I said okay for the inconvenience can you just bring the food out to me when it's done as there is no room to sit in the waiting area and I'm sure it won't be exactly 10 minutes. She told me no. Oh IHOP, we have spent many a night together. When I worked evenings, I used to come here weekly. I knew all the servers and got fantastic service. Now that I work normal hours, I only visit once in awhile and don't really know the staff anymore. Service is still ok, but not as great as it used to be. The food? It's IHOP. If you stick with pancakes and hash browns, you can't go wrong. If you order something else, well, you get what you'd expect. This is definitely the best IHOP around and I will never give it up. This iHop is a lot better than a lot of iHop I ever been to. The only problem is it is crowded with a lot of people each time I go there. It could be the time stamp I choose to go, which is early in the morning around 10AM. I like this place a lot better than most because the waitress is very attentive. She also has a great sense of humor and the way she treat her guest is the greatest. The food did take awhile to come out but it was expected with the wait before my friend and I got our seats. Food was filling and satisfying. I have come to this location since 2008 and still love it. Still and always will come here if I am ever hungry for some pancakes. Whenever I decide to skip class, I always come to IHOP on Squire Road. The food is great, the service is awesome. I love the old ladies who wait on you because they're so talkative and nice and very punctual with checking up on you and actually caring about how your meal is. The last time I came, I ordered a coke and she brought me an orange juice instead. Now the way I saw it.. hey, healthier right? So I didn't say anything and gladly accepted it.. then a few minutes later she came back and said that she realized her mistake and gave me the coke I asked for earlier and told me to keep the OJ free of charge. How awesome was that? I made sure I gave her a good tip. The only downsides are that this place is ALWAYS BUSY! But that goes to show you that it's a good place because people keep coming back. For the most part, it's clean. The hostess was very nice too.. I kind of made a fool of myself when she asked me "how many people" and I said "I'm single" to which she looks at me.. laughs and says "I never had anyone tell me their relationship status at a restaurant".. I don't usually go out to eat for breakfast, since I can make breakfast better at home. AND if I do go out for breakfast, its usually late at night BUT one hot Sunday the roommate and I decide to go out for once. Since most of the Bickford's are gone (or now are "Bickford's Grille", which isn't the same) we decided to go to the IHOP near us on Squire Road. I've been here before and its always 'meh. Its a typical greasy spoon style place. Not terribly good, but not terribly bad either. BUT since this is it for options in our area after Midnight besides fast food, I've been here before. This store is an old store, with the long slanted roofs, so seating is limited inside. (As busy as this store is, you'd think IHOP or the franchiser would make it bigger or move to a bigger location), but I digress.. This trip the store was as busy, and we were going at 1:30pm to avoid the church and lunch crowds. But then again considering the size of this store, every table is precious and always filled. We waited a couple minutes to be seated. Not because the store was full (there were a few open tables) but because the staff was too busy talking about store/customer drama. Mind you, were standing right at the hostess booth, and staff was there, and they just continued to talk. Finally we sat down, and we looked at our menus. The table was clean, but the sugar packet box was nearly empty and the syrup containers needed a good wash. (crusty!). She took our order quickly (we knew what we wanted anyways) But we had to keep asking her for stuff...No silverware, no coffee cups, no napkins, no ice water.. on the table. Then we got our food, no real issues there. Fresh, hot, typical IHOP fare. And we didn't wait long either. The waitress was okay, again, like the hostess earlier, the staff was more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. And it was just the wait staff, not the cooks. (as the food was good!). I understand that the store is small and there's no real place to have a private conversation but because the place is so small, you can hear everything! Overall, I'll be back. I always am. The food's good and that's what matters. And I remember.. most of the time I come here, its not to sit and eat, but to get food to go OR Its late at night with a group of buddies, so you don't mind if the service is awful. So I'm giving it three stars... not to good, but not terrible either. read more
