The biscuit was a bit on the dry and bland side, and the serving of gravy was on the stingy side. The hash browns were nice a crispy-brown on the outside, but inside was not cooked very well. Coffee was a bit bitter tasting compared to other locations (this was my first visit to this particular location). It was fairly quiet inside with about six other occupied tables at the time. But the real standout was the hash browns -- they were incredible! Crispy, golden, and full of flavor, they were hands down the best I've ever had. My socks are still in orbit. At this IHOP you can make reservations, which is the first for me. Since I was not aware, I was put on the list and I had to wait roughly about 15 minutes, which is not too long. This IHOP, just like all other IHOPs, it was busy and crowded. But in other places I've been across the country IHOPs are much bigger. But what I've noticed about places in the New England area is that they all are quite small places on the inside. I ordered a breakfast, which was a protein plant-based meat breakfast with two eggs and two pancakes. It took a while for my meal to come out. Emile came out split, plant-based sausage patties and eggs came out first. Then about 10-15 minutes later pancakes came out. So needless to say I stayed at IHOP way longer than I planned to for breakfast. The food was good just like any other IHOP. There is nothing special about this particular one. The staff can talk to each other and laugh, but took 5-10 minutes to ask if we'd like something to drink. There were 2 tables in the entire place that have people on them (including us) the rest had not been used in sometime and 1 was still dirty. It's not that hard to get someone something to drink. Then I got a drink and clearly they made tea and coffee using the same brewer or basket or something. Nice coffee flavored tea. Ended up with a Pepsi that also was not right. My sausage was cool, my waffle was soggy and luke warm. The butter wouldn't event melt and I ate it after the eggs and has browns. Order in for the first time using the app. A bit frustrating because I didn't see a place to request extra butter and blueberry syrup. Also note if you don't slide the table to request plastic ware you won't receive any. Once your order is placed you receive a text to let them know when you are in your way. I noticed I forgot to put the 20% off first time order placed online code. I called the store to request an adjustment, and also to request some blueberry syrup. My order was already ready and the person answering the phone made no attempt to adjust the order or talk with someone who could. We also hadn't indicated we were on our way. Waited 40 minutes to be seated and the dining room was nearly empty I was shocked. Wasn't until another customer who was able to see inside the dining room and saw the empty tables and waiters crowded around the til socializing, spoke up and demanded that she and her party be seated that if they are being asked to wait might as well wait while being seated. Once she made a loud enough complaint did the line move substantially of us several parties who were told the wait would be long. Our waitress did everything right, but that didn't save the quality of the food. Our $4 a cup coffee was burnt to the point of inedible. We ordered regular pancakes and got chocolate. I asked for my hash browns crispy/well-done. An instruction the waitress put on the order, but they (one for my sandwich and one for my side) were both undercooked instead. She brought them back and I got one hash brown well done back. After I asked where my second hash brown went our server asked the kitchen. We went on Christmas Day since it was the only thing open. It was PACKED but we got sat surprisingly fast. The food was great, no complaints there. We got sat in the middle of the restaurant and it was just wayyy too crowded to even shuffle to the bathroom. My fiance got bumped a couple times because of the small space. I decided to stop in to IHOP it was early morning I was starving I sat down the waitress tried real hard but got absolutely everything incorrect. I ordered a burger with IHOP special sauce on the side onion rings and fries. I sat around for a while no silverware I heard the waitress yelling did you put the sauce on the side did you put the sauce on the side and she brought it over to me no fries there was a little bit of sauce on the side but it was also on the burger which didn't work out well because I did not like the sauce which is the reason why I asked for it on the side in the first place. Prior to biting into my burger and finding out that there was the sauce already on it I said oh what about the fries and she goes oh and order the fries at that point they proceeded to come out 10 minutes later. Now for the quality of the food the burger at South wasn't so bad but my role was hard and obviously as I stated Above it was sauce on my burger which I did not want and the bun was hard. I looked all around at the magnificence of the space; the flags, the assortment of syrups (does anyone actually eat the Boysenberry???), the coffee carafe, and misted up a little bit just remembering how much I LOVED IHOP when I was a kid. We had an awesome waitress, super attentive and the food was just about exactly what you might imagine. On the other hand, the cast of characters in the place was certainly intriguing. There were families with very young children, old men eating alone, large groups of very drunk 20 somethings (no surprise there), an entire table of cops laughing it up. There were at least 8 people waiting on tables and what looked like at least 5 or 6 people working the grill. The plates were flying! Went for breakfast. The restaurant does not have cream or half and half for coffee. They only carry milk Ordered the eggs benedict. The egg was cooked as hard as a golf ball, and the english muffin was not even toasted. We sent them back, and the replacement was completely raw. It was wiggling on the english muffin. At that point, I told the waitress the problem. She was very nice and understanding. we told her we didn't want it anymore, and she assured us she was sorry and didn't charge us .
