Service: I want to clarify that this is not a hit on the waitstaff. Our waitress was very pleasant and made sure we were well taken care of; she is truly doing the best she can with what she's been given. The Food: Unfortunately, the meal was a major disappointment. The pancakes and toast were served cold, and the bacon had a very "off" or weird taste to it. The Facility: It is shameful that management allows this location to remain in this condition. The appearance is unacceptable: * Infrastructure: Ceiling tiles are caving in and there is visible mold on the air cleaners and vents. It makes you worry about the air quality inside. * Seating: Almost all the seats are torn. I've attached a photo of the "tape goo" left behind--not something you'd want to sit in while wearing your nice Sunday clothes. Management: Despite nearly 20 people piled in the waiting area and plenty of open tables, no manager was in sight to help. We watched frustrated guests walk out the door. Greeted upon entering the business. Looks clean and is spacious. Great for big families and groups. We order a few different dishes so the wait was long. Their service in making the food could have been better so I rated 4 stars.. but the waitress/server did her job well and she came to check on us a few times. I'm kinda mad I even had to put a star on this. This has been by far the worst experience of my life, I'm a server. I work in the industry and I never once complain. As soon as we were greeted the girl was like okay bet this will be my table cool I get it I would want to go home on a slow Monday too, we got ours drink okay, took her a good minute to come back to get our food ordered. My husband got the app platter asked for fries instead of onionrings she said cool, the food came to the table, on onions rings on his plate k cool no big dead but she did not come check on us once, his chicken wasn't done she was no where to be found she came to us at the end to give a boxes the bill and pops to go. Not friendly, never checked on us, we waited quite a while for our food, while seeing her play with her phone.We saw others who ordered from other wait staff getting good service, food ordered after us was being eaten while we waited. Brought my wife her coffee, but no spoon to stir it, and we had a hard time getting her attention. She did however seem to be real good at playing with her phone. After we finished we waited till she noticed us, came over asked "you done?" . After that she came back and handed me the check, never said thank you, or anything else. We never did anything to create an issue, I know waiting tables can be a difficult job, so we don't ask for much, and we are always polite. Came in asked for water and coffee, I am the only one in the restaurant the waitress brought me a half a cup of coffee in a dirty cup with clearly dry coffee around the brim and it was half full. She never brought me any water. I visit this restaurant for a cheese omelette, the order was for a curbside , when I pull up and call the number, nobody answer so I called again , nobody answer. I got out the car to pick up order , there was nobody at the front desk to help. I just stood there until someone finally came out with my bag. The waitress wasn't even phased or sorry, all they said was "oops, they're the same color card". Plus the place smells like an outhouse, as if the bathrooms are never cleaned. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. It doesn't deserve higher. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, nothing but problems. They were taking names for tables, but then a hostess started calling out for groups of 2. We were a group of 2 with our name on the waiting list, yet groups that walked in after us got tables first. Once seated, it took our waitress a long time to take our order. After a ridiculous wait, the food came out and my daughter's meal was completely wrong. Add more time to correct that. When her food did finally come, it was an absolute mess. She ordered a veggie and pesto eggs benedict dish and it was swimming in oil because they added way to much pesto. We had to use plastic silverware because they were out of clean silverware. The place looked dirty. I will never return to this place. I suggest others skip it as well. read more

We visited this IHOP after church on the Sunday. They were busy, but we walked in expecting that to be the case. Let's start with what went well. Their coffee is delicious, and they were good about keeping my coffee cup full. Had I just been there for a coffee, I suppose this would've been a four or a five star review. I ordered their banana Nutella crepes. I suppose it's asking a lot of an IHOP to do crepes right. They tasted OK when I ate them, but they hit my stomach like a nuclear bomb later. Perhaps this was this much a function of my tricky digestion is it was the actual preparation, but I don't think I'll be back. My wife ordered a plate of pork sausage and eggs with a side of pancakes. The eggs and pancakes look good, but the sausage had a funny taste to it. It kind of reminded me of what elementary school cafeteria sausage used to taste like. My kids ordered various other items off the menu, all of which they indicated were good and looked good. Since four out of the five of us were happy with the experience, I can't completely disregard this place. However, since I'm the one writing the review I get to assign the star rating. read more

I come here almost every Sunday for brunch and this was the worst experience I've ever had from an ihop. Our food took forever to come even the appetizer. The appetizer basically came with our food. My partner ordered 6 pieces of french toast and only got 4. His hash browns had a hard burnt like layer over the top and tasted burnt and every his scrambled eggs were burnt. When I got my hash browns they were barley cooked not even the slightest crunch to them. Dirty appetizer plates are sitting here and our waiter keeps walking by and never stops to ask if we want her to take it. I'm not a huge fan of ihop but we tried this one, located on Little Mack and 13 mile. There was 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 children. Our server was A-MAZ-ING. I believe her name was Queen, but I want to make sure I have the right person so let me give a description. She was light skin, slim, long curly black hair, she was wearing a black sweater, and she said that she had an 11 yr old daughter that she just allowed to have blue color braids. In this world, it's very hard to get good service, especially when you're a family of 7 and 4 of the guests are children. Servers get worked hard and the tip isn't always worth the work. Aside from leaving a good tip, we wanted to shine he spot light on our wonderful server, who was beautiful from the outside in. Thank you for serving us, for being efficient, polite, and kind. What a strange experience. Although my food was great (sirloin tips) and our server, Kendra was nice and amazing, it appeared as though the restuarant as a whole was in the middle of a crisis. When we arrived, the greeter looked as if he had been working for 36 hours straight- expressionless and discontent with his job. There was a wait to be seated, even though it appeared that a majority of tables were available. It was as if it was a slammed Sunday morning rather than a Monday afternoon. The wait for our food was long enough for me to notice. We were missing order items and it look rather long for wait staff to appear. Ironically enough, looking around, there was maybe 6 families (max) dining, so it was strange that the staff was struggling. On our way out, I witnessed the same greeter from earlier abandoning his post as more and more people filed in, and when he finally resurfaced, he said "we're waiting on tables to clear" and walked away again. Went to order online on 10/13/18 and didn't have the option to pay cash. So I called and placed my order. Online said my total was 19 something yet Meaghan said my total was 29 something. She corrected it and went to pick up our order. 2 minutes until we arrived back home she called and said my boyfriend forgot a bag. But he walked out with JUST the pancakes in his hand. No bag. So apparently they forgot to bag it. I called to speak to a manager before getting there and she said "she's really busy right now! Can I take your name and number!" Manager says next time we will get our meal for free. Boyfriend wants IHOP again on 10/14/18. Figures screw it we got a free meal so might as well. We call to place the order and ask to speak with the manager in which what we were told to do the day prior. Once again "the manager is way too busy! And will call us back as soon as she's able to! Is there something you need?" Boyfriend replies "yes I was going to come up there to get my order that she said she would replace." Server says "ok I'll let her know!" So we have to do some grocery shopping which on our way there we have to pass IHOP... there's maybeeeee 10 cars in the parking lot, no joke! And this is legit 5 minutes after we called. Clearly not as busy as what the person made it out to be and in my opinion. No reason why when someone calls and asks to speak to a manager they should be able to speak with them. We do our grocery shopping and a hour and a half passes by and no phone call. He speaks to the manager and gives the our receipt that CLEARLY shows what we had. We get home and sure enough they completely forget about my boyfriends meal. We originally ordered the day before country fried steak and eggs that comes with hashbrowns with chocolate mousse pancakes as substitute and these breakfast sliders with hashbrowns. What we got when we got back home was country fried steak, hashbrowns, no eggs and 2 half orders of cinnamon pancakes..
