I would give this 5 stars for our awesome waiter and delicious breakfast melt. But I need to explain how poorly this place is ran. There were more people waiting for a table than there were seated. NO JOKE. I was told the kitchen was backed up. This place needs new management. I watched a bus boy take more than 15 minutes to bus 2 tables. And he never finished either table. He was all over the place. The greeter or "hostess" was running around like a mad woman taking phone orders, running to kitchen to get carry out, trying to greet people and screaming across the restaurant as she's running from kitchen to lobby. Placed an order on door dash at 1:03pm on 4/28/19 and order arrival time was pushed back several times. Did not receive order until around 2:15pm. Most of the wait time was the door dash representative waiting to receive food from restaurant IHOP in Roseville, MI on Little Mack. It took so long, I called the restaurant to see what the hold up was. Only to be informed by the manager that the kitchen was "backed up". Door dash representative later informed me that ihop location actually lost order tickets and was not sure what orders belonged to which patrons. This location has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced from a restaurant before. Aside from this particular experience with doordash order. I have gone to this location physically with the expectation to dine in, to only be greeted by no one in the hostess area. Several employees were aware of waiting customers in greeting area yet no one made an effort to greet and seat customer. When a few minutes had passed and I realized no one was on their way over to seat us, I called the store to get someone's attention to come over to the hostess counter. Yet again several employees acknowledged the ringing phone but no one made any effort to answer phone. My party eventually left and went to another restaurant. I was so flustered after this experience with door dash that I attempted to call corporate office but was closed due to Sunday. This location needs to undergo some changes and improvements starting with management. I will NOT be ordering from this location ever. I ordered food from the 13 & Littlemack IHOP through IHOP.com and it was TERRIBLE!!! All of my food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time - which it had been! It took almost 2 hours from the time I ordered my food to when I actually received it....And I only live 2 miles from IHOP. I had to call IHOP 3 times asking where my food was and the manager tried to blame it on Grubhub. But, IHOP never sent my order to them. So my food was just left there sitting out for a about an hour & half. I had to argue with the manager about them remaking my food even because I didn't want food that had been sitting out for that long. He said they would remake it, but that was a lie. My entire food order was cold and it looked & tasted terrible. IHOP didn't remake anything. My wife and I arrived shortly before 3 PM on Friday (Sept 15, 2017). Waited at the 'Please wait to be seated' sign for over 5 minutes before anyone paid attention to us. (I'd already dialed the restaurant on my phone and was waiting for their phone to ring - 'are we ever going to be seated?') We were placed in a table and then completely ignored for another 10 minutes. No water, no menus, nothing. Had to go find a flag down a waitress in order to get someone to wait on us. Not Good :(. Waitress was nice enough, but service was miserably slow and the food was only so-so. IF the place had been busy, I could understand but there were fewer than 10 patrons in the whole joint! This location is a great! place to eat depends on the hours you go. If your going on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) go early around 9:00am or late afternoon's around 5pm.
