My friend got the sirloin tips & eggs (scrambled) with hash that were so soft and undercooked they were like mashed potatoes she couldn't eat them, and 2 pancakes, the steak and pancakes were amazing. i came into ihop with my parents on Saturday and this girl who looked around my age attended us with respect and was very lovely, I didn't get her name but I do remember she had hello kitty stickers on her name tag and it started with an " M" she would make a conversation with me and my parents and even took our empty plates away to have more space on our table! she made me and my parents feel very welcomed, i asked her what the best pancakes were and she told us her favourites!! they were amazing very good service! read more

I hadn't been to IHOP in years. We were craving breakfast and it's close to our house so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The food was delicious. Really fresh and tasty. The Service couldn't have been any better. Our Server kept our Coffee full and our dishes were removed promptly. I had the Mexican scrambled eggs with hash browns and pancakes. Busy yet warm. We headed to IHOP as our American cousins needed a dose of USA . Even though the place was busy we were seated in 5 mins. The server was very warm and made right recommendations. The stuffed egg omelettes were heavy and filling. The burger was delicious. The fries were thick cut and so crispy! The junior combo was perfect for my 3 year old. Pancakes were fresh and light. ( international house of pancakes) Yes my dear fellow friends,it is actually a house of pancakes. Oh my gosh , there servings are in all portions from 2 to 4 to 6 pieces of pancakes. They are serve ham,sausages,eggs,bread n fruit. Special brunch menu n kids menu. I like that place that offer kids special as they always need a small portion. Plenty of drinks from cold coffee to hot coffee to tea. Omelets are my favourite and ask them for anything n they will make it for you. Servers are well versed ,well dressed and good communicators. They know their job really well. Hats off to particularly talking to random client and asking about their day in spite of the fact that they are always on their feet. This location was really busy. Cleanliness is what I look for every where and trust me this place know cleaning. Me and my friend came in for breakfast today. Service was very friendly as per usual. When I found a couple of hairs in my plate. I waved the waitress down who said after showing her the said hair found on my plate where food was already half eaten, "sorry about that, well I'll just bring you another plate of food if you like". I advised her that I had lost my appetite. She said something along the lines of, "it's up to you". I felt pressure because my friend wanted to eat his food. I said fine after a long pause. When the waitress brought the food back it looked like it was thrown together with no presentation like the initial plate of food. It felt as though my asking for another plate of food after complaining about a hair in it was annoying to not only the cooking staff but the waitress who brought it to me. Anyways at the end of the meal she brought me the bill which I thought was ridiculous. I just hope that people read this message and realize that the service is unacceptable. I am considering going to health Canada with my story. When your food has a hair in it, at the very least it should be complimentary. read more

Like most if not all restaurants in the chain, the choices and flavors are many. The execution is flawless, even during a pandemic. The price is fair and the service is good. I love breakfast food. IHOP makes fluffy pancakes and the normal breakfast items you expect from a chain restaurant. The food quality is very consistent at least when it comes to breakfast items. They also have a lunch and dinner menu items as well if you are looking for burgers, steak, etc. During the weekends, this restaurant is packed and parking can be difficult. There is street parking nearby. Service can be slow at times. Servers are efficient for the most part and checked up on us regularly to clear plates and refill beverages. read more

My husband and I came for a treat as we don't get out as much as we used to. I have a legitimate, authentic, service animal for minor seizures and some nearby customers complained about my dog who stayed under the table at all times. CAROL our waitress was kind enough to explain to the customers that he was a real service animal and thankfully, understood my need. She politely came and documented the dog and should be commended for her kindness as well as her efficiency and professionalism as a waitress. Not sure if it is the waitress or the increased COVID precautions but had to wait for utensils to stir coffee and once food came the waitress disappeared. I haven't been to IHOP in years and my daughter wanted to go there for brunch. Great place to go if you want to eat breakfast type foods around the clock, although they do serve other menu items as well. We went on a Monday and by the time we finished there were line ups for the lunch time crowd. Good and friendly service and food was good.
