Our experience at IHOP in Terrell was absolutely awful. As soon as we got there our server was acting rude. My boyfriend asked for a drink and she kept telling him that she wouldn't make it. Then, my boyfriends mom asked for a spoon, and the waiter threw it onto the table. She brought everyone's food out, except for my boyfriends brother, he had to wait 10 minutes to eat after all of us did. She would not refill our drinks, and would not acknowledge us. Every time we asked her for something she would not respond, she just gave us a dirty look, rolled her eyes, and walked away. We asked to talk to the manager, and she was an even more rude individual. We told her how we felt, and even told her that we understand that the waitress was overwhelmed because some of us waitressed too. Then the manager told us in a rude tone, "well if you were waitresses, you should understand not to keep yelling ma'am and be so rude to her." I will never order online from this IHOP again. I drove 15 minutes to pick up my order to get home and see that they did not give me the right French toast, and to make matters worse when I tried calling them (multiple times) they did not answer the phone. After the third call they forwarded my call. Very inconvenient. read more

Don't waste your time ordering online or for pickup. They never have it ready, seems like they don't even start the order till you get there. You shouldn't offer services you can't actually provide. This is the second time I've wasted my entire hour on lunch waiting on food that I order 30 minutes prior to going to lunch. Not a favorite I Hop. Slow seating us. Got the order placed. Table not wiped from previous customers. (Staff was having Christmas party). Had to go ask about order thirty minutes later. Then they brought 3 tables of food out at the same time. Couldn't get waited on after food was brought. I'll have to be very hungry to go back. read more

This is hard to say, but I felt like they are racist they put all the blacks in one little area where there were 4 separate tables, would not have felt that way if other people that came in were sat in other areas but each time a black family came in they sat them where we were, well they only had one table left in OUR AREA well now there are two, we left shame on this IHOP for doing that. Customer service here is always good. The food has also been tasty. I want them to focus on the presentation of the place. It always seem dirty. Menus have dried food, booths are not always wiped down and carpet needs to be swept or vacuum which ever they do. This focus would move my rating to a five. read more

I absolutely love this ihop and every staff member here. This is our go to ihop. Every time that we go we get to know our server and they are very attentive. Our favorites are Shane, Amy, and another really nice girl that I forgot her name. We sat with each of them once and when we came back the next time they knew our drink orders and remembered our names. The food is always delicious, we've never had to send anything back. Extremely disappointed. Today as my daughter and I awaited our food we were swarmed by flies. The crepes and french toast arrived 5 minutes before the rest of our breakfast items, which when we received were inedible. My eggs which were supposed to be over easy looked like a scrambled slimy mess. My daughter's scrambled eggs were slimy and not completely cooked either along with her bacon. When I asked that they be replaced and corrected the waiter went back into the kitchen where we could hear him complain about us sending it back. Me and the wife decided to go out for breakfast this morning, we went to IHOP here in Terrell and had a great experience and some good food.everything we had was good.the blackberry cobbler pancakes were out of this world !! Got sat at a filthy table with butter in the seat and crumbs on the table. Waited a long time for the food. When It came out it was cold. So I sent it back. Got my second plate and it was cold again. My hash browns were so hard I could barely cut through them with my fork. My eggs were dark and old looking... I took one bite and they were rubbery. My husbands chicken florentine crepes were cold and nearly inedible. Server did not remove empty glasses from the table when bringing new ones. Between 4 people we currently have 10 empty glasses on the table and 4 full ones. I will not be back. read more

This is one restaurant I will never go in again! It was loud, our waitress was beyond a waitress, she did not get the order right and the other waitress had to come try to correct it! I have never really been a big fan of IHop, but this really sealed it for me, for sure! There were silverware on the floor, it was dirty, nasty, the food, was at best, BAD!!! Worst food and customer service ever! Got there with a group of 20, T approx 7:45pm. We were beyond patient because there were two or three other large groups of graduation celebrants. Every table around us was served first and leaving, we continued to be patient, and it was not until 11 o'clock that we finally determined our food order had not even been turned in. I visit iHop frequently and usually receive mediocre to ok service. I came to this iHop on a Saturday morning around 8am. I just wanted to mention what we were waited by Amber and she was great. This location is not good. I usually go the the Garland location and the service & food are always excellent, HOWEVER, this location is horrible. My scrambled eggs and bacon were pretty cold & the service not that great. The place itself was a little filthy. Will not recommend this location in Terrell. read more

Great service! I ordered the raspberry cheesecake pancakes, I must say they were absolutely delicious! The problem was, they were beyond sweeter than I expected (cheesecake sauce, white chocolate chips, raspberries, raspberry sauce, chocolate drizzled across, and most importantly whipped cream). Unfortunately, I could not eat it. So, y waitress Destinee May and her manager Andrea Allen took on the task of satisfy a customer (myself). Initially, they gave me a coupon for a free stack of pancakes, since I live so far from here they strived for a better deal. I ended up with an AMAZING quesadilla!
