The only reason we come to this IHOP is because we live down the street and my kids always want to come here. Unfortunately, the service is consistently disappointing. When we were seated, several employees walked right past us without acknowledging us, and tables that were seated after us were helped first. We waited until I finally had to get up and ask where our server was because no one seemed to notice we were even there. When our server finally arrived(Juan), he had an attitude from the start and acted like he didn't want to be at work. It made us feel like we were inconveniencing him just by being customers. I understand everyone has bad days, but when poor attitudes and lack of customer service become the norm, it really affects the entire experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because customer service is just as important as anything else. Food is okay for a fast breakfast, but nothing special! read more

Pros This location is clean both inside and out it has been updated to IHOPs most recent decor package.there is a patio for outdoor dining when weather permits. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The dining area has a nice view. Plenty of parking. Close to the MetroLink station & downtown. Cons I ordered eggs poached medium, sausages and hash browns XxWell done. I received eggs poached XX hard , sausages, hashed browns medium. All served somewhat warm. Mom chose the sampler with 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1ham, eggs, fresh fruit and a pancake. All served cold. The buyer was not melting on the pancake . Be ware if you have allergies the omelette contains pancake batter. Conclusion I did bring the issues to our waiters attn.. he offered a replacement . Given our morning schedule and the fact I was not that hungry I passed. He did comp. My meal. ( I did not ask for this ) . The menu is large , Otis conveniently located and prices are moderate. This is our favorite 'Pancake Saturday' spot! Our two boys love the running toy train and the occasional sittings of the big train. The food is good comfort food. The happy face pancake is chocolate and tends to be dry so my kiddos usually get the cupcake pancake with eggs, bacon, and sausage. Their breakfast sampler is my favorite because I get an even mix of protein choices and yummy carbs. The cinnamon pancakes or the tres leches are my favorite! Hubs loves the build your own omelette and usually adds hashbrowns inside which is a fun riff on the usual. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is clean and always busy. We went there expecting the same old service. We just moved to Rancho Cucamonga and we take the train. We saw it and decided to go eat. Surprised that we were sat down right away. And loved the train in the ceiling. Rene our server was outstanding. He was polite, attentive and well mannered. Even went as far as say if we didn't like what we ordered he could change it. I don't leave bad reviews but today was the worst. I have always enjoyed IHOP but the experience today was not it! The service wasnt ok, I believe her name was Valeria, not attentive and I felt she was very annoyed by us. My daughters boyfriend didn't like his pancakes took two bites and we sent them back he didn't want anything else I also asked for a Pepsi which she brought but when the check was dropped I noticed the pancakes on the check along with 2 pepsis when I only ordered one and didn't get a refill I mentioned it to her about the drink and the pancakes so she went and brought me a new check she took one soda off but pancakes were still on there when I brought it to her attention about the pancakes her response response was " so now you want me to take the pancakes off the check?" and I said yes we gave them back to you. He didn't even eat them. She snatched the receipt and walked away, then brought back the third check without the pancakes on them. You can tell she was upset. My thing is I've been working in the service industry for 30 years and I would never charge a customer for food that they did not like or they did not eat, and I would always try to make it right. Valeria didn't do that. It's disheartening because this IHOP is located walking distance from my house and I love going there not to mention underneath the plate that I was eating. It was a bunch of chocolate underneath the plate so getting served on a dirty plate just made experience a whole lot worse. I won't be back anytime soon sad to say. read more

I have been coming to this ihop for years and never had any problems with the food or the service , but the last 2 times I came here and had Valeria G as a waitress and both times didn't get everything I had order. Tonight all I ordered was a short stack of banana strawberry pancakes, water with lemon and a hot chocolate. I ate my pancakes with no beverages. I can understand if the restaurant was busy, but that wasn't the case. I am very disappointed with the service and I hope it gets fixed. So sad that this youngsters don't want to work. read more

Went here for breakfast, and the service was absolutely amazing. Our server Wendy was wonderful, and Armondo the manager was so sweet, and very accommodating to our party. Every-time we have come here Armondo always takes really good care of us, and we love that the restaurant is always clean, and never looks run down. read more

We came in late at night with a larger group and Daniela helped us. She was very welcoming and gave good suggestions on the menu, she suggested adding chocolate to my coffee and it was amazing. I will always like the fact that they are 24 hours. The food is really good most of the time. The customer service is relatively good. They are nice and friendly. I see the restaurant is usually clean too when I do go and eat there. Alot of the time I go in the night but still it's a good environment. Even when there are some tables that need to be cleaned the servers are looking to get around to it. They seem not to talk too much where it impacts the service around them. read more

This was my spot to go to but unfortunately it's seriously going downhill. We came in on Sunday 06/23/24 at about 630pm and we noticed it was a bit hot usually we are freezing cold not today we asked about the ac and we were told the ac was broken. It's literally summer I get things happen I felt bad for the staff working. The food arrives and it's honestly not good I hardly ate. I got the breakfast sampler and everything tasted like rubber and it was hard to eat the only thing good were my pancakes. We spent about $77 plus tip and honestly we could have spent a bit more and could have eaten way better food in a much better cooler place. Don't get me wrong I love IHOP I like to make a few suggestions I ordered a BLT I didn't know that I had to say crispy bacon on the sandwich so I sent it back came back more crispy then I realized there's only three dots of mayonnaise seriously so when you order make sure very crispy bacon and extra mayonnaise as far as the pancakes of course they're great but they're never really hot enough for me not even warm sometimes you know it's been made ahead I don't think this will ever change because it's always the way so I have to mention these things ahead of time before I order. read more

Went to IHOP today there was one server took forever to get our food wasn't her fault they need more help finally got our food my mom's pancakes were cold butter didn't even melt I was so hungry I swallowed my food didn't realize they were cold. The price is not worth what you pay for. IHOP is definitely not what it used to be. If you're craving good breakfast foods, you're honestly better off going somewhere else. You'll probably get more food and spend a lot less money. I got the French toast combo and my boyfriend got the steak tips meal. They give a disrespectful amount of potatoes compared to what other places give and the service didn't really help the situation. There was no urgency and we often had to wave them down. The food tasted fine, but no one is trying to spend $20+ per person at an IHOP to still leave hungry. Needless to say, I'm probably not coming back. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. First off they sat us under a dark broken light table like we were in a basement. Then a lady came by who seemed to a manager to take our orders, she thought she could remember our orders from memory and when the food arrived one of the orders was completely off. A plain burger with only two ingredients requested (Lettuce and onion only) was served with bacon, pickles, and some type of sauce. After receiving this meal we attempted to send it back in which a new server was brought to us not the lady before who originally took the orders and this young girl by the name of MAYTE didn't introduce herself to us at all and started waiting on us we explained the situation in a kind manner as both me and my friend also work in a food industry so being respectful to servers is always what we try to do so after explaining the situation she takes the food away without saying a word and when she brings it back it's the exact same burger but different buns still mayo and bacon they only seemed to remove the pickles from the burger and gave my exact plate back with a bitten onion ring so they took a used plate with the wrong order to the back kitchen and cross contaminated. The tea my friend ordered was also sent back as she ordered a plain unsweetened tea and the tea tasted sour and old, we only drank waters and had one napkin each for the entire meal never once did our server come by to check on us we always had to call her over nor did she offer any napkins or more water. After all of this we will not be returning to this location ever again waste of money and terrible experience the sign on the door says a smile is free but we paid for a frown! read more

My Husband and I placed a mobile order for pickup. It said the order would be ready within 20 minutes, so we drove over there to grab our food. When we got there they said that they never even received our order. We showed them the order that went through and they said that they will have to start making it then, to which we agreed. We then proceeded to wait for over an hour for our food. And even after that hour the food was still not ready. We asked for an estimated time until the food would be ready and they wouldn't give us one. When our food was finally ready an hour and a half later, they had it all tied up and told us it was correct, when we went to untie it to check. We drove all the way home and guess what, the order was wrong! They gave us someone else's order! This place seriously has the worst organization and management imaginable. Very bad customer service, a few months ago I went to have breakfast at this establishment. And we had a bad experience. An order of. Pancakes. And a sandwich of avocado After the order, the wait was 25 minutes. Customers who arrived. After us. They got their order almost 15 minutes and my order after 25 minutes of waiting I never arrived today we gave them one more chance and when they ode. The waitress didn't know that it was to heat up the chocolate for 40 seconds for my daughter and that's a red flag for me in a restaurant. When I get out , I realised that they changed GM. They sat us within five minutes, but neglected to tell us that they had so many online orders that it would take an hour before we would be served our food.
