I want to start by saying this was one of my favorite restaurants. Even though the closest location is in the next city over, I would gladly make the drive to pick up my orders because I always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, my last experience was very disappointing. I ordered two takeout meals, and when I got home, I realized my order was incorrect. I called the restaurant to let them know, and about 10 minutes into eating, I found a hair in my food. I called again, and the staff apologized, took down my information, and told me they would replace my meal the next time I placed an order. When I called back to redeem the replacement, I was told they didn't have any record of my information or the previous conversation. It was frustrating to have my concerns dismissed after being assured the issue would be resolved. This experience was disappointing, especially from a restaurant I had always enjoyed and supported. read more

You order everything at counter, for to go orders use app. We order Hawaii BBQ mix and Seafood Mix. Wife and daughter like seafood mix, and I like bbq meat. Great size for box and lots of meats and seafood. Plenty of rice in each box and we order one fountain drink. It's not as water down as other fast food chains. I can still taste soda. This location is newer. Order making speed is efficient, food taste is more 3.5ish. I like the decor and vibe. It's similar to one at Monterey Park. Will be back to try more Hawaiian BBQ! read more

Went in 10/23 and they were pretty busy, but I would give customer service 10/5 STARS! Standouts were shift Leader Nia and cashier Monica. Nia was very kind, PATIENT,& informative with me and helped me get what I wanted. Monica was super friendly with the loveliest smile!! Did not eat inside but they do have tables available. For the price and portion size, it might be on the upper end. The rice wasn't fully stacked, and salad was average. He is probably the only reason I would go back there. The two cashiers behind the counter were another story they proceeded to laugh and make fun of my situation loud enough for me to hear and make jokes and ridicule me for no reason at all. The cashiers looked like a short young blonde lady and another lady with black hair and glasses. They spent the whole time I was waiting for the order to make fun of me. Idk why they decided that was the proper thing to do but I think management should definitely talk to them and get them to do some type of course on customer service. Negative review based on food handling from cashier and cooks. Cashiers take your cards, pull up and poke at face mask many times . Service other customers proceed to take their cards. Grab food containers, drinks, and forks that are not individually wrapped just exposed in a big box with same gloves they have been servicing everyone. Those gloves are contaminated the minute you touch a surface, cards, your face mask. Cook you see in the picture with it under his nose as they prep our food. This is nasty and gross those gloves don't do nothing to protect paying customers. Especially when they are touching their clothing and everything else, including their own face masks. No point in the glass in front to give false sense of security that you guys are keeping food contaminated free!!
