Pretty much what you would expect from an IHOP. Food was good but our orders were mixed up slightly and took a short while to come out. My dad ordered a medium t-bone steak but got medium rare instead, and my uncle's eggs came over easy instead of sunny side up. Nothing to complain about. Well while I might agree that IHOP food is IHOP food, and this is a good thing since the company as a whole strives to achieve this so pancakes in Manahawkin taste like pancakes in Vero Beach, I will say the service is very good here. Gina and I arrived in Vero very late at night, after 1130pm and everything was closed.....except IHOP as they are 24 hours. We hadn't eaten all day chasing down flights so you can imagine we must have looked like cavemen walking in with our knuckles dragging on the ground uttering, "uhh food good". As soon as my wife and I opened the door and walked into IHOP we noticed a damp musty smell, like a damp basement. We thought it may pass but it didn't after we were seated. I noticed the empty table next to us was being hit with droplets of water. I looked up at the air conditioner vents on the ceiling and they were all dripping with condensation. They were dirty and moldy looking. The musty smell must be coming from the rug, being dripped on 24/7. read more

Good food, good service. Nothing spectacular. I enjoy IHop for breakfast. The waitress was pretty good. She smiled and was friendly. The food was good and hot when it was served. I had asked for, "A little bit of extra butter" and was brought a LOT of extra butter. Their hot chocolate was really good and their coffee was good. Nothing bad about this restaurant, but nothing spectacular that stood out either. We stayed at the Travel Lodge behind the IHop so it was convenient to go there. read more

Ordered ihop n go. Stuffed French toast with blueberry topping, hash browns, sausage and sunny side up eggs for me. Big steak omelet with hash browns for my boyfriend and the rooty Jr for our daughter. First off, the person who took my order was the most polite person ever. Didn't catch her name and I wish I did. When I went to pick up my order, she opened everything to show me it was all there so I didn't have to drive all the way back there. She made sure my order was complete and up to par. I really appreciated that. Thank you who ever you are. My stuffed French toast was perfect. Hash browns were nice and crispy and my eggs were just how I liked them. My boyfriend always enjoys his omelet, hence he orders the same thing every time. Usually when I get the rooty Jr for my daughter, I get strawberry topping and she never ate it.. I got apples this time and she loved it. Overall, my food was delicious and I am very thankful for our waitress. Once again, thank you and we will be returning soon! read more

From the moment we walked in the stench was overwhelming with body odor and old grease. Floors and surrounding entrance trashy. Prices have gone up - not the quality of the food tho. Couldn't even order breakfast without meat. My eggs were cooked with stale oil - never again - & we used to go quite a bit but this is now a second bad experience. I continually try to give this restaurant a chance. Stupid me. There are two tables and in walks a (possibly) coworker family or at least someone familiar. Their concersation continues and I sit here with an empty drink. Empty since half my meal eaten. I get even by leaving no tip but that makes no statement to the servers in this place. Really great food for an ihop, kinda smells like grease out in the parking lot and inside but thats what you sign up for right?! Asked for crispy bacon and it was crispy af, the pancakes were fluffy heavenly cloud pancakes, eggs over easy cooked perfectly, the coffee is good. Everybody knows what IHOP is known for. This particular location is very good. I have been here several times usually late night when everything else is closed and the food is really good. I've had salads that were fresh and even ordered fried chicken once and that was really good. Breakfast is always a winner. These pancakes are soooo good! Went to have pancakes this morning, at the IHOP on State Road 60 at the IHOP on State Road 60. Got there about 6:45, no Cook. I was looking forward to pancakes. I can't believe that a restaurant that supposed to be open 24 hours a day, Would allow the nighttime cook to go home, before the day cook comes on. I hope the management of this place reads yelp comments. This is terrible The management needs to address this. read more

Musty smell when entering does not dissipate. Food quality is less than is usual for an IHOP. Didn't get sick so that is a plus.

IHOP has always provided comfort food at a reasonable price ...unless it gives you extreme indigestion. I was sick for a week after dining at this location recently. The kitchen and wait staff need to wash their hands ....and their faces. Don't plan to use the restrooms either. IHOP customers must use facilities co-located inside a KNIGHTS INN that is pretty scary. Cracker Barrel, across the highway, might be a better bet. Bon appetit. read more

I have been going here for the past 8 years that I have lived in Vero Beach. For the past 2-3 years the quality in general has just gone on a steep decline. for the last year or more each and every time I order a shake they are either out of ice scream or the shake machine is broken. The food does not come out as advertised and when you question the wait staff they give you a piss poor explanation. The staff that is on from 9pm on are just plain lazy. Worst experience ever for the first time at one of the 3 ihop's we dine at. There were 3 of us. We ordered a bacon Bleu burger, and two Philly stackers(one with just mushrooms, the other with onions and mushrooms) and an order of mozzarella sticks(as an appetizer). The waitress comes out with a regular cheeseburger with unmelted cheese and two stackers, both with onions and neither with mushrooms. She notices they both have onions and mentions it before she puts them on the table to take the wrong burger and I guess just thinks that we'll just eat what she brought even though it was wrong. She comes out not 2 mins later with the bacon Bleu burger (I guess she had just grabbed the wrong one). I asked about the mozzarella sticks so we could eat them while they fixed the stackers. The stackers then came out one without onions, one with, neither with mushrooms again. The waitress then comes out with a plate of mushrooms and offers to microwave our sandwiches with the mushrooms that we have to split between the 2 of us off of this plate. We finally got our appetizer after our meal, mozzarella sticks served with ice cold marinara. Now our french fries are cold and one of us is done eating at that point. She takes 20% off of our bill which was $6.67 off of a $28 and some change bill that says "messed up order". If you ask me, 3 orders were "messed up." Out of 3 people, the whole table was screwed up. $6.67 doesn't even cover one meal out of 3 that were wrong. After trying to voice our opinion and disappointment, she started walking away as if she didn't want to hear it. The GM finally showed his face and offered to send a few free meals.... at the same location. Really? One time, out of the many we've eaten here, has my family and I completely soured by the whole experience. I'll go to other ihop's, but save your free meals at this one. read more
