probably one of the best ihops ive been too and mostly due to the welcoming staff they had on. From the second me and my daughter walked in through the door we were greeted as if we were friends forever. our waitress was named Amanda and she was extremely friendly, attentive and kind. would def come back to this ihop. read more

We were there Saturday morning it was very busy the hostess said about a 10 minute wait no problem. There's nothing worst then trying to enjoy your breakfast and your hostess is screaming names to be seated. Seriously she can't walk 10 feet with the menus and say there name instead of screaming.very un professional. read more

IHOP is a high volume high table turn over restaurant which means lots of dishes being run through the scullery the scullery odors tend to make it out into the dinning area . They need to do something about this. read more

I have been to IHOP's in about 3-4 different states, and this has to be the cleanest one that I've been in. My wife and I went for a late breakfast/ early lunch on a recent Friday. The hostess was a very nice older lady who got us coffees and said are server would be right over and would take good care of us. She certainly did! I wish I had remembered her name, she was youngish with dark hair. We had both ordered the 2X2X2 plate with pancakes, eggs and bacon. I ordered my bacon well done and it came out perfectly. The only downside? The price. Our meals plus coffees came to $24.57 before the tip. The portion size was okay, but I could have gone to a neighborhood diner for bigger portions at a lesser cost. Stopped by for a quick snack in the mid afternoon. Alright, your saying, "IHOP, really?" Because there is back story here, is why and it is way to long to go into that now. Not to throw you another curve ball but I don't even like pancakes, okay enough laughing, back to the review - Only a few patrons were scattered here and there quietly eating and chatting on this mid afternoon. We were greeted and seated right away in a booth towards the kitchen/back of the restaurant. The friendly staff was prompt and polite. While waiting on our order we took notice easily of the amount of people were working and how each one was cleaning or organizing if not helping a guest. It was impressive to watch and refreshing to know how clean this location actually is! Our food was hot and good. The service over all was great! read more

Ok so here's the deal its an Ihop just like other Ihops you have coffee at your table in a carafe which rocks... but its $$ for breakfast food as Ihops tend to be, lets put it this way we went out to lunch with 4 people yesterday and spent less. Waitstaff are negligent and forgot my son's order and also didnt ask if even wanted a beverage which we found out later. All the food had come and we had to track down someone to find my son's order ...that's unacceptable. All parents know kids without food are not happy campers! you're making my experience crappy by ignoring my kids! Will probably never go back because theres other breakfast places this place will thrive off people who dont care about bad service and those who dont know any better bc its near the airport....typical for the area businesses near the airport tend to stink bc they dont need to try. read more

We went tonight for dinner. First of all the manager was awful. Made comments going into the kitchen and coming out. Yelling into the kitchen what is burning. This is wrong. What is going on. Making noises everytime something is wrong. I dont think its right at all. The waitress came to table check and see how things are coming along. We said good.. She said thank god finally something right in here. Lol Like 15 mins later i called her over because my plate was side of pancakes... I was half way through it and i notice a blonde/white hair on top of pancake.... The waitress sorry. She took it back in the kitchen area. Then manager came in said sorry thats not our hair. First of all how can you tell. Second of all. All four us at the table has dark brown hair.... The waitress had blonde hair. I cant believe manager said that while our table was in front of the kitchen. I would never make comments as a manager loud enough for people to hear especially having tables full of people near kitchen. The manager never came over and said sorry.... Have been here twice now and both visits did not disappoint. Service was consistent both times. servers were very friendly and attentive. menu is quite extensive and has a wide array of breakfast options if pancakes aren't your thing. Being a pancake lover, of course I ordered pancakes. They were some of the best buttermilk pancakes I have ever had. Light, fluffy and the perfect size. A 3 stack of original for $3.79 how can you go wrong?? Top with the syrup of your choice and enjoy! Years ago, IHOP was phenomenal and then something happened and service, food quality, and cleanliness became an issue. Well, all that has been turned around and those three factors have been truly elevated ! Although I am not a big breakfast person, I do enjoy breakfast at this venue. Every waitstaff person as well as the manager is upbeat, smiling, willing to please, and helpful. Between my husband and myself, we have tried a good amount of the breakfast foods offered, and have been very pleased. If you like a bargain, join their breakfast club and do their surveys to get free breakfasts, $$ off the next purchase, etc. read more

I'm not going to hate on IHOP for being a chain. It is not fair to hate something just because it is what it is. This location has really come into it's own. My first experience here was awful and also involved a child projectile vomiting at the table next to us, but that is not conversation for a food review.... I went to IHOP this afternoon, since by the time everyone in my house was awake and functioning it was afternoon. Many of the good breakfast locations close early on Sunday or are WAY to busy so we thought this might be a quick fix. The restaurant was busy. Both mine and my boyfriends meals were satisfying. I had the whole wheat french toast and he the stuffed variety. We were in and our of there quickly and full when we left so IHOP did the trick. I really like that IHOP has light and fit options highlighted on their menu. It is always refreshing when I can have a quick meal and not worry about it ruining my entire days worth of calorie intake. All in all International House of Pancakes serves a decent breakfast in a pinch. read more

Ordered pickup an hour in advance, got there and had to wait 30 minutes and when I got the food, my pancakes were raw and the presentation was terrible, forgot my drink multiple times and am very dissatisfied and I could see many other customers dining in were as well. When I ate in another time we waited for 10 minutes while the waitresses fooled around in the back and came out without masks on multiple times and instead of helping customers they were continuously talking with each other about their boyfriends and girlfriends and when asked about food on both visits we were met with an attitude. If food is ordered an hour in advance there is NO reason when I get there I should have to wait an additional 30 minutes. I am very disappointed. read more

Our server Didn't give us our lemonade or chocolate milk when asked more than three times each. Our orange juice had something black floating in it and tasted sour and old. One of our kids ordered the Jr. Churro pancake combo and didn't receive the actual pancake portion of the meal. We tried to explain this to the waitress who proceeded to take the meal back leaving her to sit even longer than the already 45 minute wait for food (there were only four other tables present in the entire establishment) and when she finally brought it out it was still wrong, they were just plain pancakes. My friend told the waitress about the unhappy service when asked how our meal was and the waitress got extremely defensive saying she only has two hands (so she couldn't bring our drinks with her two other tables?) and then blamed the chef for not knowing the kids meal should have had pancakes.... it's has the word pancake in the name... She got loud and then walked off muttering profanities in front of our children. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told he had to run to restaurant depot and wasn't here. We then gave her our debit cards to split the check and both her and the apparently not absent manager, Ronnie, took an additional 25 minutes attempting to charge us. I always go to Ihop on Post Rd when I want crepes. Crepes are not on every establishment's breakfast menu. On P ost Rd the service an staff are very quick friendly. $$$$ are more than other breakfast establishments The location is convenient in a shopping plaza. Ladies room could use updating. read more

I was always a fan of IHOP for as long as I can recall, but I have to admit, I'm seriously discouraged with how ridiculous their pricing has become. My sister and I went for breakfast the other morning. We both got a relatively normal breakfast: I got 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 pancakes, with hashbrowns, and a cup of coffee. My sister got 2 half French toast, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, and a cup of tea. Nothing crazy or extreme, but it came to almost $33!! Both our breakfasts were $11.99 each and both coffee & tea were $3 each!! Not for anything, but breakfast is one of the cheapest meals to make, and to charge this amount is insane! No more!! We will either go to one of the numerous other breakfast places around or make it at home. Either way, it would be a mere fraction of the cost and be just as good, if not better!! It's a shame, because they are slowly going to put themselves out of business. read more

Never ever again! I love IHOP, but the IHOP ON THE GO system is AWFUL. I dont recommend it. I ordered pancakes with ON THE GO for the first time. The app tells you when itll be ready. 6:55pm (15mins after placing order)...sounds about right...I get there 655 sharp. Its NOT ready. I waited until 7:15 pm. Finally the hostess brings it out to me. I asked her if it was warm still and wth happened. She said, "I think so". Are you fkn kidding me? I checked it and it was semi warm to the touch, but its pancakes so...by the time I got home they were cold. They didn't even taste like cheesecake pancakes that I've had there INSIDE a bunch of times. Tasted like buttermilk with refrigerator temp strawberries in a cup on the side with no butter too btw smfh. I'm so happy I didn't order the eggs I was planning on getting too. I had to microwave the pancakes and eggs would have come out like rubber! Cant believe I had to wait 20 mins for an on the go order. How is that on the go?? It would have been faster to take a seat and order, I would have ate and been out of there faster! 55mins total! From the time I ordered until the time I recieved! That's ridiculous!!!!!!! But the food this time was amazing, and we had a server named marissa, blonde girl, and she was the best waitress we have ever had. Great service and great food fast. You know what you are getting at ihop. Location is convenient. Pancakes, ham, eggs and stuffed French toast were perfect portion sizes. So, I love IHOP there food is delicious and well portioned as far as I'm concerned however the service at this particular location is beyond terrible! When I go into the restaurant the hostess is rarely at the front desk and seating takes to long for how empty the restaurant is, the servers look like they could care less about being there and take a long time to bring out food and drinks. Honestly I've seen more enthusiasm from a dead fish however, the worst and most appalling issues is the staff purposely ignoring and hanging up the phone on customers which I've seen first hand as well as had happen to me as I was trying to place an order with the restaurant. I've currently been on hold for over 30 minutes trying to place an order with them and was told to call back, I'm very hungry and upset. Not a good way to keep customers coming back read more

I had the 55+ Sunrise breakfast and the eggs were cooked just like I had requested. The service was very good. My server Babs was training Sara and I could not have asked for anymore attention that what I received. The store has been opened for three years but doesn't show up on Yelp. The food is no different from any other IHOP but I come here specifically for the awesome waitstaff. The servers are all very polite and there's no denying that they want you to enjoy the meal. They can get pretty busy--I have only been there on weekdays and can not imagine how crowded they must get during the weekend. Still, the drive to Warwick is totally it. read more
