the interior of a waffle house
    Kamal B.

Before I walked in, I said to myself, "If it doesn't smell like a Waffle House in here--you know, like a dirty dishrag on the side of a bucket--I'll start at 3 Stars and go from there... ...Well, it didn't smell like stale hotdog water after all! Yaaay! But that's about where the buck stopped. The floor was filthy. The pecan waffle was delicious--once it finally came--and the eggs I asked to be scrambled 'hard' were still wet. It took long to get the food given how few customers were in the joint. But our server was really nice.

This Waffle House is lit. It clearly has to be for me to leave a yelp review. Kim is the best!! Just don't expect it to be a quick meal.

Food: Smoked salmon Eggs Benedict over a toasted English muffin. - This was delicious. I should have asked for avocado on top (if any) to balance out the strong red onions on top. Side of broccoli cheddar cheese soup - Tasted great,l and the saltine crackers really stepped it up a notch Drink: MORNING MEDITATION® Orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. - This hit the spot without alcohol. If this did have alcohol like champagne, it would make an awesome Mimosa ! Will definitely be back to try more on the menu

We started with coffee, which was smooth and well-balanced--definitely a great way to kick off brunch. My wife ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, featuring poached eggs on toasted ciabatta with smoked sockeye salmon, red onion, tomato, and hollandaise, served with mixed greens. I went with the Market Hash, which included eggs over seasoned potatoes with mushrooms, onions, red peppers, spinach, mozzarella, and herbed goat cheese, along with whole grain toast. The food itself was very good--flavorful, fresh, and enjoyable. The only downside was the timing. Even though we weren't in a rush, we noticed a couple of tables that were seated way after us received their food before we did. I guess the kitchen doesn't believe is FIFO. (First In First Out). It wasn't a major issue, but it did stand out. Our server was fine--nothing exceptional, but no real complaints either. Overall, it was a solid brunch experience with tasty food, and I'd still consider coming back to this location.

I am in a stupor. I have never seen nor heard of this place. It's a typical older diner with booths and a rather older interior. Our server seemed to be busy. She brought our drinks and said she would be back. Not my favorite thing a server said. She shows up, takes our order, and the food comes out rather quickly. When I first saw the ham, I was thinking, "Oh boy, this is not going to be good." Tasted way better than it looked. I did the same thing with the brown-and-serve sausage. My server did a great job of taking the order. Equally was good at bringing out our food. But i had to stop her and ask for a refill. She brought out the bill and offered a drink to go. You have to pay up front instead of at the table. The food was good. They don't have any pork products. They have turkey ham, turkey bacon, and turkey sausage. Which is perfect for me since i don't eat pork. They added beef bacon to the menu. I had to try it. I git a side of beef bacon. It was fried crispy. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffle come with plenty of butter on top. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It wad spicy. The spice level was perfect for me. The chicken tenders and fries looked great. The tenders were huge. It was crispy. The server said they make their own tenders. It looks like seasoned well but it didn't have any flavor. The fries were good. The restaurant was busy. It was Sunday an f a mixture of a church crowd and others. The parking lot was full. They do have plenty of parking.

We checked into the hotel on Sunday so I first got to use my free breakfast voucher on the following Monday. The host at the main entrance was kind and told me I could sit wherever I wanted and to help myself to the buffet. Once I found a table I was greeted by a nice male waiter who asked me if I would like coffee and a made to order omelette, which I definitely said yes. The buffet consisted of your usual, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits, assorted fresh fruits, a waffle station for you to make yourself. Yogurts and pastries. Along with my made to order omelette I chose some of their potatoes and fresh fruits. Not long after my omelette arrived freshly made and it was ready good. The waiter came back to see if I would like a juice to go with my breakfast and brought me out a cranberry juice. He was very attentive, he even asked if I would like to take a coffee to go when I was done eating and also brought me a cup so I could take my juice as well. I made sure to leave him a tip for his outstanding service. Now we're staying here for 7 days, so each morning I went down for breakfast, unfortunately the gentleman that helped me the day before was now working the front so I had a waitress this time. She appeared to be attentive on this visit. Instead of telling me i could sit anywhere she lead me to a seat and brought me coffee. This time I had to ask for an omelette and juice and when I asked for a to go cup she obliged and brought me a fresh cup and a to go juice that I asked for. I also left her a tip. Day three and up to Friday the day I'm writing my review. My breakfast morning experience has gone down hill. I unfortunately haven't seen the gentleman again, only the lady. When I come in she's nowhere to be found, so I just take a seat and go to the buffet, when she finally shows up I have to flag her down for a coffee and a omelette. When I ask for a to go cup for coffee or juice she's really slow to bring them back to my table. Once she does bring them back and I say thank you she just turns around and walk away with no response, rude. Overall the buffet here is pretty decent and if they could train the lady to be more courteous and professional like the first guy I had I would have given them a 5 star rating, but with me having to flag the lady down and getting a bit of an attitude response I am giving them a 3 rating solely based on her service.
