Our m.o. for long car trips is to cut out pre-dawn, drive a few hours, then stop for breakfast. We didn't realize we'd been to this IHop until we walked in. To me a good breakfast is a couple of eggs, pancakes and a strip or two of bacon or sausage. That's why I gravitate to the 2x2x2. Ordering off the senior menu saves a couple of dollars. Breakfast hit the spot. I'm one of those nuts who feels it necessary to try every flavor of syrup. Service was great, with our waitress proudly showing me pictures of her granddaughter. And I'm pleased to report that the place appears cleaner than last time, though the bathroom could still use an upgrade. read more

We had a late breakfast here. The food we ordered came out quickly and it was very good. Can't say that this is a newer place, but near the interstate by a truck stop. After we ate I went to the restroom to wash my hands, saw several tables full of dirty dishes that had been there as long time. Very gross, I can't imagine how the kitchen is kept. Bathrooms nasty and old. This place needs to be leveled and a new place built!!!! read more

Stopped on a Sunday at 11 and was told a 5 minute wait and that's all we waited. Noticed a lot of dirty tables, which is why they couldn't seat people. I don't like breakfast but knowing they served lunch I was ok with stopping. My husband is a breakfast junkie. I used the restroom while waiting for a server. Disaster! Filthy with towels everywhere. What restaurant allows that, and better yet, who are the customers that treat a public space this way. My husband said the men's room was the same. Our server finally brought our drinks. Mine was in a to go cup, probably because they ran out of glasses as all the tables around us were dirty. The hostess was doing nothing and should have pitched in. Servers were in the back talking instead of stepping up and getting the place cleared up. I opted for the Nashville Chicken Melt with onion rings. They brought out my husband's breakfast and 5 minutes later brought mine. I cut the sandwich in half as it is big. What did I find? Raw chicken! That totally grosses me out. The server walked by and I told her and her response was "it's fried on the outside" I lost my appetite but knew my husband would be upset if I didn't get something so I asked for a ham and cheese omelette. It arrived with lots of ham and unmelted cheese. This meal was a disaster and I just wanted to leave. They gave me no break on price and I didn't argue as there was no manager around. We were on the road and needed somewhere to eat fast. Didn't want fast food, but there was an IHOP that we saw right off the expressway. Went inside with me and my family and I ordered right away and the food came quickly. Everything tasted great food came out perfect. We were in a hurry so I signed the bill and left quickly, leaving my credit card on the table. Drove three hours away and realized I had lost my credit card. When I called the establishment, a person answered the phone right away and it was the general manager of IHOP. She knew exactly who I was and remembered us. Long story short she is mailing my credit card back to me. Great service and I really appreciate them now. I don't have to cancel my credit cards. Definitely going to go back there the next time we're in town. read more

The staff stands around talking to each other while every table around us (and elsewhere in the restaurant) while not one table was cleaned up after patrons finished their meals and departed! Horrendous wait times. It took 50 minutes from the time we ordered to be served and one plate of food was cold, while the other was piping hot. The waitress did not check on us during that entire period of time, and gestured to our whole table when the food arrived and said "this is all on me, I've got it covered," then chased us as we left to explain she only meant the drinks. Waitstaff should certainly use more specific language as to which parts of the meal they are comping to avoid situations like this. They were understaffed, I understand that makes things hard, but you should be turning people away at the door if you don't have the capacity to serve them. read more

the service was wonderful, ive been twice now and i've had nothing but an exceptional experience. the staff is kind and attentive and do the best that they can to serve their customers. they have a handful of staff so it was a bit slow, but it was still a 100% lovely experience. the staff is as friendly as they come and it really did put a smile on my face. the food? tastes as good as it looks on the menu. if you have celiac's disease like i do, there are a few options that are Gluten Free and even then you can adjust your order to your preferences. the Gluten Free pancakes are fluffy and delicious but because its a stack of four, you might have to take leftovers home ;) the noise is minimal and they play music that bounces between the modern generation and more to the 50's era. overall the ambiance is pleasing and i guarantee you that you'll have a wonderful experience at this IHOP location. i have nothing negative to say about my experience here and i hope my review is helpful for your choice of breakfast places :) read more

Tried this IHOP for take out today for breakfast. We won't be back. They hardly gave us any hashbrowns and they were dry. We paid extra for blueberry pancakes on the one meal, but they gave us plain pancakes. The other order was supposed to have Gluten Free pancakes, but since they both looked the same, we couldn't tell which was which, and I wasn't willing to trust they had them on the correct meal, since the order was already messed up. I couldn't eat any of them. One set was horribly dry. We ended up throwing them out. I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

IHOP, or if you are old enough to remember when it was called International House of Pancakes, is a long standing chain of restaurants based around the concept of breakfast and as the name would imply, those breakfast items are built around pancakes. IHOP does a decent enough job at creating a diner feel to their restaurants. It is inviting enough and our server greeted us with a smile and was professional and friendly enough. I am not a fan of sweet breakfasts, I opted for an omelet. My omelet was okay enough. You have to remember that IHOP is a national franchise and are more focused on providing a consistent and adequate product as opposed to making a good product. I really cannot say that my meal here was anything special, but it was not terrible either. Overall, I guess my experience here would rate a three star experience. read more

I found this to be one of the better IHOP's I've come across, and the crowds it had when I was there were a clear testament to its popularity. The service staff was friendly and accommodating as well as being clean. It also affords plenty of free parking. For my breakfast, I had their Swedish which were four thin typical Swedish crepes (because I'm Swede, I know) that were properly prepared and tasty with lingonberry and lingonberry butter. The only downfall, and I'd say a big one, was their tiny one person at a time men's room, especially since it wasn't all that clean. read more

We went to breakfast today at IHop in Wildwood Fl., Feb fifth 2025 @ around 111:00 a.m., We ordered...the waitress brought out my daughters food and most of my husbands food and said to me that the cook was having trouble with the crepes staying together in the Chicken Florentine dish that I ordered and that he was trying again and it would be just a few minutes. So then after my daughter and husband were half the way through with their meals the waitress came back to the table and said that he could not get the batter together and that I should order something different because she did not want him to keep trying to make the crepes any longer because he was breaking so many. She stood at the table side asking me what other dish I would like to order again. I told her that I would need to see a menu because I did not have the menu memorized and could not just order on the spur of the moment. She then went to get me a menu. When she returned I mentioned to her that she had not brought out my husbands hash browns, bacon or English muffins, mind you that they were both at this time almost finished with their meals. Just a note...there were only three other people in the restaurant at the time so it was not busy. By this time I had basically decided that I was just going to order something quick like two eggs over easy with toast. So she goes back to the kitchen and returns with the rest of my husbands' breakfast and hands me a plate with what looked like a scramble of something, and says of "he managed to make your crepes." I was amazed that she actually served me that jumble and tried to pass if off as Chicken Florentine. There were bits of burnt crepe in the mix of chicken pieces and spinach with a drizzle of what was supposed to be hollandaise sauce and tiny cuts of tomato mixed in sort of a hash mash of everything that he couldn't put in the crepe because there was no crepe only bits and remnants that he screwed up and probable couldn't fish out of the mix. It really was comical but not. After this tragedy she totally ignored us as her customers left the table and never returned. Did not ask if the food was to our liking or if everything was okay or whether or not we needed anything. When it came time to pay we got tired of sitting waiting for the check so we all stood up and she finally brought the check deposited it on the table said have a nice day and took the payment refusing to look at any of us. I tried to get her attention and she just turned and walked away. My meal should never had been served in that condition it was horrible. I just want to say that my daughter and I previously went to this same restaurant and had the same meal and it was very good with no issues. Whoever was cooking today was clue-less and the waitress was incompetent. We will not return. read more

3.5 stars. It's a standard IHOP, but waitress Daphne was anything but "standard." She was exceptional! Definitely a 5! The restaurant is located @ the Wildwood exit, just west of I-75. There is plenty of parking. The interior was clean & orderly. The breakfast & lunch/dinner menu was rather limited (see pic), but that may be Covid-related. Our breakfasts were cooked quickly & well. Our enteess tasted very good & the prices were fair. There were no negatives for us today. Unsure why all the not-so-great reviews, but perhaps we got lucky (or just maybe food & service issues were addressed). Regardless, if you want a solid yet basic American breakfast, this IHOP offers just that... at least it did today:) Curbside pickup is still available @ this time. Thank you, Daphne. Death - this place is by far the worse IHOP I've ever visited. The server forgot she took our order, then forgot to put the order in to the cook, then delivered the wrong food. Requested dry toast on sourdough but received white bread with tons of butter. All other items ordered were incorrect as well. Requested new toast, never received it. First off let me say that Debra is absolutely outstanding!! Such a lovely courteous lady with excellent service skills. We came in on Friday night March 8, 2024 just 20 minutes before close and she greeted us with a smile and was such a delight. She didn't rush us even though it was so close to close. The food was excellent and was made in a very timely manner. Because of Debra's service we came back in tonight, hours before close this time and again Debra greeted us with a smile even remembered who we were and what we drank from the night before. The hash browns unfortunately look like possibly frozen patties that are deep fried as the insides were almost raw and the outsides were well done. I don't frequent a lot of IHOPs but I've been to few. This was clean even if a little dated. The meal was outstanding! Perfectly golden brown Belgian waffle, tasty scrambled eggs, and crispy turkey bacon. The house salad had plenty of baby greens but only a few diced tomatoes and skimpy onions but everything can't be how I make salads at home I guess. The service was excellent. This place is disgusting. My burger came raw TWICE when i asked for medium. There is no flavor in the food at all. My server acted as though she couldn't care less if I was there or wasnt there.
