Never Again. You should not do this to people period!!! But went in to get one screen transfered to another, so he said yes they can do it, but sometimes the touch screen, it may not function all the way sometimes, so I said if it doesn't then what, he said don't worry we will take care of you, so I said okay.. This place is alright, beware of them trying to switch prices up on you. This was actually my second time coming here in a matter of a month because I am the queen of broken phones. In all honesty, they lost out on a repeat customer sadly. I came in here Monday after a wild Halloween weekend that involved a lot of phone dropping per usual. The rep suggested the standard screen replacement for $115 or the premium for $135 and he'd throw in a screen protector. I went for the premium. He did do a fast job and bared with me while we waited an hour for my phone to disable itself so I could pay with my apple card through my wallet on my phone since my card wasn't currently in my possession. I had $56 cash which I credited towards my payment and somehow it went from him telling me the total was $80, to $90. Then when I made a comment about saying "How much?" He said $85 and still charged me $90 and didn't flip the screen to show me how much I paid or offered a receipt. Shady business for an extra $11 dollars sir. Not to mention I will never be back due to him thinking he can pull one over on me real quick. I'm a pretty relaxed chick, because I just took a quick mental note and went on my merry way. Hence the review, don't show them your business. Also had another woman that had issues with her phone that asked about the warranty come in while I was there who apparently just had her phone screen fixed. He literally said it doesn't cover internal or external damage and barely took one look at her screen before deciding it wasn't covered. What? You literally didn't even diagnose the issue, so what is the warranty even for?! I liked these guys for their fast repair, but after blatantly conning me out of $11 more dollars, I'd rather find a new place that's slightly more expensive that has integrity with their customers. 4.5 It takes a village, y'all. This is going to be long. So, here I was, minding my business when I noticed that I got a prompt that I was running out of storage on my phone. 'Impossible,' I thought. 'I have a SD Card with 32 MBs on it.' I kept on about my day and noticed that I kept getting the same prompt. It was only when I tried to retrieve photos off said card and discovered a blank screen that I had one of those 'no one in space can hear you scream' screams. I called a couple of mobile phone repair stores and they told me I was SOL. I didn't have time for this. Going on the internetz I discovered that, in no uncertain terms, should I reformat the card so I waited until I had an afternoon free to travel to whatever part of Davidson that is south of Glencliff and north of Nolensville and go to the only T-Mobile store in the county that will get my business. Even though staff and management turn over frequently here, the people are always nice. This was not an exception. As my hips swayed to the bachata playing in the background, I explained my plight to a rep and the manager. They looked at my phone, thought about it, hadn't heard of my problem before, told me there wasn't much I could do *BUT* if I wanted to try iJunkiez 'around the corner' they might could help me out. Desperate, I hoofed it through the strip mall and found my way to iJunkiez. I hadn't heard of them before and the graffiti logo wasn't giving me a lot of hope. That was my bad. Living here has made me forget about the ingenuity of my '90s life in Philly. Believe in the graffiti tag, people. My clerk was Alex/Alan (sorry for screwing up your name). He was young, had some stuff going on but was very helpful. I explained the situation, gave him my phone and he disappeared with it into the back. My OCD went in to full freak out mode. 'I just gave my unlocked phone with all my texts, emails, files, etc. to a stranger who is doing God-knows-what to it out of my sight. This was not a good idea.' He eventually returned up front and told me that there wasn't much I could do. He'd had this happen to himself. Sometimes SD cards just spontaneously freak out and that's that. He gave me some in-the-future advice and as I turned to leave, he hit me with this nugget: 'there's one more thing you can try.' 'Digame.' He told me to get a SD adapter, put my old card in it, place the adapter in my laptop, and see what happens. I was game. He explained the entire process to me (what it looks like, how to set it up, etc.). I asked if he had any for sale. He didn't but said I could pick one up at Wal-Mart or something. Cool. I walked back to T-Mobile, started dancing bachata (folks don't think I'm Dominican for nothing) and told them what found out. I asked if they had any adapters for sale and they did but I had to buy the adapter with a SD card. Before I gave my card, though, we verified that the adapter was compatible with my laptop. My rep sold me their cheapest because a.) I just needed the adapter b.) some of the products were pricey and c.) we didn't know if it would work. I bought it and drove the 50 minutes home. With baited breath, I inserted the card into the adapter and the adapter into my machine and... the machine recognized it. Okay, cool. After piddling around, looking through various junk files, I stumbled upon my old files, photos, tracks, and videos. It was all there! For some reason my card and phone were incompatible but my card still worked and all my info was there. It took hours out of my day but none of my info was lost. I was given help by multiple folks but I have to give a shout to iJunkiez who hipped me to the Hail Mary that saved the day and my info... and he gave his time/advice for free. I have already started telling people to patronize the store. Looks are deceiving. iJunkiez may not have the outward polish of pricier stores but they saved the day where other stores told me I was screwed. I know who has my future business. read more

I busted my iPhone screen a couple of weeks ago and have been putting off getting it fixed due to price. I drive by iJunkiez almost every day on my way to/from work so I decided to stop in and see if they could fit me in and to get a quote. They were so kind and able to fit me in right away - it only took 15 minutes and I had my phone back like nothing ever happened to it! They also applied a new screen protector for me and did so perfectly. The total cost was about $30-40 cheaper than I would have paid at the Apple store, and so much less time! This was by far the worse experience I have ever had in my entire life. I went there to fix my iPhone 11 Pro Max. They fixed it in less than 30 minutes and at first, the phone had seemed as good as new. A couple days pass by and the screen starts glitching a bit. It would type in my password without me even touching the phone and my phone would be disabled multiple times. Eventually, my phone had a little purple dot on the right side of the screen that spread to the rest of my phone. I went into the store and explained the situation to one of the workers and he took my phone with him to the back. 2-3 minutes later, another man (the one who originally fixed my phone) comes out with my phone and shows me a crack on the screen that wasn't there before I handed them my phone. He claims that I dropped my phone or hit it and compared it to being in a car wreck. Mind you this, my phone was not in ANY type of car wreck for him to be making a ridiculous analogy. He told me that because of this crack, he would not be able to fix my phone for free and that he would have to charge me again to fix my phone. He kept saying that this was physical damage that I had caused to my phone and that it was my fault. He also kept saying that if I go to ANY phone store, they would say the same thing and if they didn't, he would buy me a new phone for free. I then left the store, went to my car, pulled out my iPad and went back into the store where I showed him a picture on my iPad of my phone (when the screen had turned purple) with no scratches nor cracks on it. The picture had been dated and was proof that there was no crack on my screen whatsoever. He had told me to show him proof that he was scamming me, and when I showed him the photo from my iPad, he went off on me saying iJunkiez was the best phone screen replacement store with the best reviews in all of Nashville. The man proceeded to tell me that if I think he was scamming me, that I should just leave and come back with a lawyer. But wait, it doesn't end there. He ended up calling me back, saying that it was a "digitizer issue" and that he would offer me a 50% off discount if I went back and fixed it with them again. It's crazy, because why would they offer me a discount thus much, if he is certain that it's my fault the phone is broken???? But of course, I'm not crazy enough to let the people who broke my phone once do it again. I went back into the store and demanded a full refund but he had told me I needed to speak with the owner if I wanted that. He then said (again) that if I go to the Apple store and they tell me that the crack on my phone was not considered physical damage, then he would buy me an iPhone 13 Pro Max for FREE. Obviously, I was not going to refuse that offer and at this point I NEEDED to stunt on this man. I made an appointment with the apple store, took my phone there and I was right. The workers told me that a phone screen has many layers and that there was a crack on one of the bottom layers of my phone screen and that it was virtually IMPOSSIBLE for that to have happened from physical damage, seeing as there was no crack on the outer layers of my phone. The apple worker also told me it was because of a cheap screen replacement that had gone wrong and that it was 100% the phone repair store's fault. Quoting what Apple told me, "This is because the customer got phone fixed through a third party non-apple authorized dealer. The cause of the blank screen is not physical damage." So not only did iJunkiez mess my phone up, they refuse to acknowledge their wrong doing. After going to the apple store, I paid iJunkiez a visit. So just to like sum it up quickly, i went in there very calm and didn't even raise my voice and this guy Chris, who is supposedly the owner, like starts rambling about how I'm wrong, i broke my phone, and how I'm looking to blame anyone but myself. he started telling me that i was obviously financially unstable and that the reason why i started doing this is bc i couldn't afford to fix my phone, so i made up all these false accusations. he was so rude and loud for no reason and then when i tried to show him what apple had said he was like "they just say that so you can fix your phone w them and not us" and he was saying how he has been running this business for 14 years and how he knows better than me. and i asked him "so if you know how to run a business, why are you offering a customer who's wrong a 50% off discount? it doesn't make sense" and he was just so stubborn. and he was like come back w an attorney if you want but I'm not giving you a refund and then i told him i wanted to speak with the other guy, the one who had originally fixed my phone and when he came out i showed him the paper from apple. i told him that he promised me a new iPhone 13 pro max if i proved it wasn't physical damage, which i did and he literally started claiming that he didn't know me and that this was his business read more

Absolute crap. Let me tell you why. UPDATED at the end. I cracked the glass on my iPad 4 and took it in to iJunkiez in Opry Mills Mall to be repaired. Nothing was wrong with the LCD screen itself. Technician Max was playing a game on his phone and it took a couple minutes for me to get his attention. He quoted me $139 for the repair and said it would take about an hour. I should have known something was amiss when he called just 20 minutes later to say the iPad was ready for pickup. First, I noticed the was a cluster of bright white dead pixels along one edge. And there was some sort of gunk underneath the new screen cover. Max admitted he damaged the pixels in that area when opening up the device, and said the gunk was just under the new screen cover and couldn't be fixed unless he "broke into it again." I flipped over the iPad to inspect the back and saw there was a red guitar pick stuck to it with some sort of gunky adhesive. WTF, Max? Turn off your iPhone game and pay attention to what's in front of you, dude. He offered me $20 off, but instead of $119 plus tax with the discount it was $130 plus tax. He misquoted the repair price as compared to what his computer rang up, so now this $20 discount is just $9 since he's not honoring the original quoted price....which was written by his hand on by drop off paperwork. As I walked away, I inspected my iPad closer and noticed the entire right half of the screen was dimmed by about half. I took it back to Max, who begrudgingly decided to replace the LCD screen with a new one. You'd think I'd be a happy camper now, right? Now that I've had a chance to actually use the iPad, I'm finding out just how crappy to repair job was. Forget for a moment the issues with the damaged LCD and all that. As I type this review, my cursor keeps jumping around like its on crack. I can't use Safari without random zooming in and out weird highlighting and more. As I tap the surface if the screen, I can physically feel the new screen cover depress, almost with a click. It's loose near the home button. I can depress it quite a bit with just a finger. What used to be a simple finger tap to open apps is now an ordeal with this new non-responsive screen. I feel like I'm using a cheap Kindle tablet or something. This is definitely nowhere near the quality of the original screen in terms of material or touch responsiveness. It feels like a cheap Kindle tablet or something. iJunkiez is a good name for these folks. Cause it's all absolute JUNK. UPDATE: I went to the iJunkies on Old Hickory Blvd today to try to get these issues resolved. The manager apologized and said that the guy over at Opry Mills was new. He diagnosed the problem as a bad digitizer. Whether it was a bad digitizer that Max installed or the existing digitizer was yet another thing he damaged during my "repair" I'm not sure. The manager offered to replace the LCD at no charge, gave me a free screen protector and a $25 iTunes gift card. Upon picking up my iPad he asked me to change this review, which I'm now doing by adding this addendum and one additional star. Why not give them a 5 star rating? Turns out that my freebies also included a brand new series of scratches on the back casing of the iPad. I know they're only cosmetic, but when you visit a REPAIR shop, shouldn't things...ya know...get BETTER instead of WORSE? So, to make a long story even longer...now I have a functioning iPad with a back casing that looks like a cat used it for a scratching post. If this is the best level of customer service this company has to offer, expect to see iJunkies going out of business very very soon. read more

I was nervous to go to one of these "cheap repair shops", but honestly they did a great job and for a very reasonable price. I shattered the screen on my Samsung Galaxy and took it in to see what they could do. They gave me a price quote told me that if i wanted it fixed they'd have to order my specific screen. I ran down to Verizon to see if there was anything they could do or any cheaper option and they told me that what i had been quoted was a pretty good deal. So i called Ijunkies back to have them order my screen. When i went in the following week they had my screen in and told me it would take about 2 hours, so i brought a good book and decided to wait in the lobby. It actually took 3 hours (apparently i had shattered my screen into so many tiny pieces it just took longer to take a part). When i paid I noticed a sign stating that there was a $3 fee for swiping your credit/debit card, so I decided to pay in cash. Upon looking at my receipt i was still charged the $3 "bill payment fee". I called to question it and he said he hit the wrong button and it was supposed to say "$3 environmental fee"... i never saw anything that mentioned that. He said it's because they have to ship the broken glass back and that $3 pays for the shipping. Not sure about all that, but it's $3, so i left it at that. Other than it taking a little longer than expected and the random $3 charge, I am very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work. They did a great job, my phone looks clean and is operating perfectly. NEVER take your iPhone 6 here to get a broken screen fixed. They charge $185 AND broke the camera while they changed the screen. It would no longer focus. I brought it back and they just said "sorry, there's nothing we can do" Take your broken phone to an Apple Store. Without Apple care they charged me $109 for a screen replacement. an absolute nightmare. I had gotten my phone fixed from here about 2 weeks ago. 2-3 days after, the top half of my screen began to come out. a week later, the entire screen was hanging by wires. today,I took it in and the man insisted that I had dropped my phone. this was the same man who had originally fixed my phone. I had my iPhone 5 screen repaired there a few weeks ago. When compared to the apple screen, the quality was TERRIBLE. While I didn't notice it until i got home, there was a light spot that radiated out from the side of the screen - either it wasn't installed correctly or there was a defect. I put my phone in my purse when I left and when I got home I already had two very noticeable scratches smaller but deep gouge out of the screen. All too familiar with screen issues, I bought an Otter Box to better protect it, and 3 weeks later, I drop it for the first time on carpet and the screen cracks. Please, don't waste your money. If your screen cracks, take it to the Apple store or Mac Authority to have it repaired -- it will cost a little more in the short run but they have a quality product that they stand behind and it will certainly save you over time. read more

Even corrected a terrible repair that I had attempted on an iPad mini and was able to make it good as new. Brought Iphone 5 in for screen repair. Guy was nice and offered to fix screen and replace battery for discount. I took him up on the offer and the they did the job. I should have known something was up when the new screen on my phone was slightly fainted (almost grayish background). I was in a hurry and thought nothing of it. About a month later my screen starting going in and out, so I decided to take it back to get it looked at. The guy in the store (different person) took it in the back of the store and came back about 5 minutes later and said it was my fault and damaged the LCD on the inside. He offers to fix it (for full price, of course). I refused as I disagreed and felt it was the store who did not do the job correctly. I took the phone to Quick I-fix (who I had been to before with another phone) to get it evaluated. The owner took the phone apart and showed me the frayed wire harness on the LCD and offered to replace the battery for me. After stating I had a new battery, he advised that the battery I had was old and shot and needed a new one (showed me how it wouldn't hold a charge). They eventually fixed the screen and battery, and no issues since. Bottom line is, I should have known better than to go to IJunkiez on Old Hickory. It may have been cheaper, but I should have known the shady actions reflected the way the store looked. This company should be investigated by the BBB for the way they go about business. My goal is that hopefully others looking to get their phones repaired here, think twice, and pay a few extra $$'s and go to another shop like Quik I-fix. read more

I live in Franklin and called them about an iPhone 6 screen repair. They told me that they price match and that there's a free phone protectant case with each screen repair. I drove there with a price quote from a different location in Franklin. They said they would price match but they would not give me a case. I explained that I drove there because of the price match AND the case. After the employees talked briefly they agreed to price match and give me a case. The case selection was not anything to brag about... BUT I greatly appreciated them keeping their word and doing the repair and giving me a phone case as part of the deal. read more
