IKEA food.. I got the chicken tenders (sooo crispy!!!) and fries, the classic meatballs (never thought a jam and gravy combo would go so hard), and chocolate cake! The cake was so rich, I loved it! It's always a treat to be able to shop for home goods and eat here.

Haven't been to IKEA since I was a teenager and thought I should visit again. Not much has changed, but it's still lively and filled with so much new items. I have to say, the highlight is the $1 vegan and plant based hot dogs that tasted delicious. The service here is great as well, and everything was organized and clean inside. It's just so easy to get lost which can be frustrating.

    yummy but expensive now.

While the IKEA Cafe still serves up a pretty solid plate of Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy, the price point has gone up so much that it's close to not worth it. Wide open cafe seating coupled with one cashier doing her best to ring up an entire line, it certainly isn't like the old days when IKEA food was super cheap and still really good.

The IKEA cafe is the best when I want my Swedish fix. 50% off entrees on Tuesdays for IKEA family members. I enjoy the smoked salmon with lemon and meatballs, and the cafeteria is so clean and pretty with nice window views. I like that they put out take-out boxes to go, so you can save some food for after your shopping trip. It's difficult to leave without buying anything here!

Love me some IKEA Restaurant & Cafe. It's cheap, efficient and filling. The Swedish meatballs aren't as good as the places in Sweden (no, duh -no one should waltz into an IKEA expecting that) but it's pretty solid. I ordered the Swedish meatball set (with half chicken and half beef meatballs). I'm not a big fan of the new seasonal veggie change, but it was fine. I also got a salad on the side and it seemed fresh - no wilted lettuce in sight! Gotta love their fountain drinks - huge fan of the Lingonberry drink. I also tried the new Sparkling Pear Drink and liked it so much that I bought a bottle to enjoy at home. Don't leave without getting a jar of Lingonberry jam! They make the best (seriously, avoid FELIX - yuck). 138/365

Ended up trying the food twice, and both times the food was reasonably fresh, considering the place serves cafeteria style. The standard Swedish meatball set was quite filling and reasonably priced. Texture of the meatballs was very fine. Combining with the creamy sauce and berry sauce, you have that nice sweet/savory mix. The mushroom bisque was okay. Definitely would suggest it with bread Second time, I tried the vegetarian meatball set with their curry sauce. The meatballs themselves were great and the Thai curry sauce adds much needed flavor. The quinoa was a bit flavorless, but mixes well with the meatballs' sauce. Definitely would advise trying at least once for the experience or if you need dinner in a pinch after furniture shopping.

    Stockholm salad, Plant balls

Salmon and potato salad were extremely refreshing. Plant balls could be more flavorful but overall a filling meal to enjoy before browsing the store. I would recommend the Stockholm salad if you like smoked salmon.

We came on a Wednesday evening and I was so shocked to find the parking lot so full! And walking in, I was just as shocked to see how big this place was on the inside. Plenty of seating for sure! Of course we had reservations so that was nice and probably highly recommended. We enjoyed the bread and butter provided to the table as we mingled. They even had gluten free bread ($5 extra). We all ordered a variety of foods. I ordered the waygu meatloaf with mashed potatoes & string beans and it was really enjoyable. It was like eating an elevated home-cooked meal. Everybody was genuinely satisfied. And they provide separate checks so that was also a nice addition to our evening.

Husband and SIL both ordered the cowboy pork chop and both disliked the overwhelmingly sweet taste. It is served with a bacon-onion jam and must have also been rubbed with a very sweet seasoning. They asked the waiter what was rubbed on it and he did not know. He said he would ask the kitchen but never got back with an answer. They would not order the pork, again. Daughter's French onion soup was tasty. My shrimp and scallop Angelina was under seasoned and the sauce was a bit watery. Pasta did not seem house made. The shrimp and scallops were tasty. Appetizers were good. We had baked mozzarella sticks, which essentially tasted like mini Stromboli and crab dip, which was fine. Bread service with butter was delicious. Grand daughter's spaghetti and meatball was good, although the meatball was enormous, rather hard, and not kid friendly. Service was fine. We were not offered dessert. Drinks were very good. The atmosphere was nice, however, not especially family friendly. Most diners were a bit older. Next time, we probably would not bring the grandchildren along. Overall, we were a little disappointed in our experience but may give Karl's another try someday.

The confirmation text didn't come through until we were already inside, which might be bad reception, but it almost cost us the table. Then they sat us right across from the back kitchen entrance. Banging, yelling, and an open doorway into the kitchen. Off-putting, especially with better seating clearly open. The food keeps the rating up. I did not expect a wings place, but the smoked wings were my favorite, right amount of crispy with good smoke. The sauce list is long and I couldn't pick a favorite. The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. Next time I'm speaking up about the seating.

Fries were scratch made with a uniques shape that had visual grooves that I had not seen at any other restaurant. Aside from the unique shape they were nice and crispy and quite tasty in their own right. Cleary a superior burger and fries versus other restaurants that are in the area. Aside from the food I had their Old School Margarita and their Deadwood Old Fashioned. The Margarita was just OK in my opinion. Basis of the drink was 1800 tequila which I am not a fan of and Cointreau. Seemed to lack the Agave Forward notes I look for and lime component was not as bright as I like it either. However, the Deadwood Old Fashioned with the Woodford Reserve Bourbon was outstanding and definately one of the better made ones in the area. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance about it with rustic western vibe which I really like. There is also a large outdoor dining area to take advantage of the nicer days which is something to consider if that is what you are looking for. Relative to staff, they are so friendly and outgoing with excellent follow up throughout the meal and clearly a strength of this business. Overall a great dining option in the Northville area and worth checking out if you are in the area.
