A Snowy Saturday afternoon in Plymouth. I'm here with a Hungry Appetite to Enjoy Polish Cooking at Three Brothers Restaurant. 12/13/2025

Review # 532 (Yelp Count is Wrong) ...Last Review of 2025 minutes before the stroke of midnight too! Lol Wednesday 12/31/2025 I wish I lived closer to the city of Plymouth. Then I would dine in this Polish Restaurant weekly or as a treat on the weekend. Today was an hour and a half drive for Me but soooo worth it. Family Owned Business with Polish Cuisine, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Brunch on the weekends is Smaczne - Oh My Deeelicous! Ambiance: Great service, Welcoming Atmosphere and Favorite Diner Place for locals, out of town visitors or like Me visiting a family member. Menu Variety is inexpensive and the best way to taste test is order a combo platter. Free Bakery Bread and Cracker Basket with soft butter. My photos attached will make you hungry for Polish Cooking to make the drive here. The Cooks, Three Brothers and other staff are unique and talented with several daily homemade soups to start off your comfort dining experience. Restaurant serves small or large groups. Carry out orders are available back when I was here twice to pick up in Spring and Summer of 2023. Today was my 3rd visit and decided to Yelp about My sit-down lunch yet dinner Polish Cooking Experience. Thank you Leslie for your pleasant personality and attentive service. Na Zdrowie, Smaczne and Dziekuje! Good bye 2025 and I'll be looking forward to dining again here in the Spring of 2026 and hopefully meet 1 of the 3 Brothers! Sincerely, Karen N. Macomb MI. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! It's located in a sort of out of the way location, away from the usual restaurant locations, but that didn't seem to be a problem because the parking lot and restaurant were pleasantly full when we entered. People come out of their way to come to this place! Our server was very friendly, and the food definitely had a feeling of being homemade. My kielbasa and pierogi were all delightful and stayed far away from the usual pitfalls of being greasy. My husband's pork chop was also tasty and well-seasoned. The apple pie was a great way to finish and hit just the spot. (Though I wish they offered a scoop of ice cream alongside it.) Overall, this resturant is a great part of the community, and I wish we'd found it sooner. Too many restaurants boast of "home-cooked vibes", but this place absolutely delivered. The only drawback was simple we ate our complete meals! (There are worse problems to have.) You really won't have any leftovers, so if you've come with a big appetite, you might want to add some starters to your order.

I will rate the service. Service was good. There was a wait, but that means lots of people want to eat here. Waited was only, 15 mins. After getting seated, I was tended to within a few mins. Waitress was sweet and quick (in and out but to the point) Ordered the #1 combo. 2 potato pancakes, 2 nalisniki (apple and cherry) and 3 pierogis. It's pretty much fried and very oily. It was just ok If I were to go back, I'd probably order some sausage and meat to balance out the carb heavy meal I had.

Had pork chops, mashed potatoes and sour kraut. Had read that sour kraut is an excellent probiotic and it tasted good, not over powering. The two pork chops were huge and I ended up taking one home. Server and hostess were very attentive.

Pull up your navy socks, slide on your Velcro shoes, and mosey down to 3 Brothers for dinner. This is where the neighborhood goes for big servings of inexpensive food and conversation, and by all appearances, has for many years. Giant bowl of veggie soup and a Polish dinner special of kielbasa, pierogis, kraut, and stuffed cabbage. The cabbage was pretty good. The waitstaff is sweet as can be, and the value cannot be denied.

The Polish Combo: Kielbasa (yum), City Chicken (yuck), Potato Pierogi (meh)
    Jessica R.

I wanted something different, so I tried the combo that included pierogis, kielbasa, and city chicken. The soup here is a bargain, costing just $.99 a cup when ordered with a meal. I got a cup of the dill pickle soup, having never tried this traditional Polish soup. The dill pickle soup was a pleasant surprise. The sour bite associated with dill pickles was tempered by the creaminess of the soup. The taste of dill wasn't overpowering, and the soup was warm, hearty, and comforting. I would order this again. I was less satisfied by the combo meal. The kielbasa was exceptional. I had ordered the smoked version grilled. The smoky flavor complemented the flavor of the sausage nicely. The potato pierogis were just ok. I had ordered them pan fried, but they tasted as if the frying hadn't happened recently and they were reheated via a microwave. I really didn't like the city chicken. The breading was gummy, and the meat had the taste and texture of a mystery. I would not order this again.

This will go down as one of the worst dining experiences of 2023. The food here is awful. I refuse to believe that what we were served is authentic Polish food. Everything was fried and bland. No seasoning and not even crispy. We didn't eat most of it and threw the leftovers away. I've had potato pancakes and pierogies before that were much better than what is offered at Three Brothers. This restaurant seems popular with the older crowd but I can't imagine it will entice a younger population more accustomed to authentic international cuisine and spices. The service was mediocre too. If you are looking for an old school diner in this neighborhood, I recommend Zack's of Plymouth several blocks away.

8/26/25: BAKED/breaded pork chops (no onions on top), with double mashed potatoes. DELICIOUS. (NOTE: Tuesday only special)

11-5-25: Tried the meatloaf dinner. It was not what I was hoping for. The flavor was fine, but the meat was kind of tough, maybe just too dense. I would not recommend it. Why is it so hard to find a good meatloaf?

The grits in particular were excellent! My mom liked her potatoes but she did say she was a little jealous of the grits and took a few forkfuls from me. The benedict was also very good, served on a biscuit rather than the traditional english muffin, which I liked very much. Mine was a little light on the hollandaise so I would ask for a bit more of that next time. I also had an iced frozen latte which was quite good! Like many folks right now we're avoiding raw mixed greens so we both skipped those with our meals but even without it was still plenty of food. We also ordered beignets, a mix of powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar, with chocolate and foster's sauce (caramel) on the side. To me the beignets read more like a popover than a beignet but they were still good. Loved that they came warm and the foster's sauce was really nice! Our server was awesome and checked in on us regularly. Food came quickly, too. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a table but it wasn't too bad and they'll take your number so you don't have to stay too close if you'd prefer to wait in your car (not much else to do around there, unless you're feeling like browsing Office Max next door). Overall a very solid dining experience and we both remarked we'd be eager to return again soon!

The ambience is absolutely lovely--spacious, clean, and very pleasant to sit in. The upstairs seating area is especially nice, with comfortable tables and chairs that make it a great spot to relax. They also offer a good selection of packed bakery items on display that look fresh and tempting, making it ideal for a quick grab-and-go visit. That said, the dine-in experience was let down by long wait times. I ordered a croissant and a falafel sandwich and ended up waiting significantly longer than expected, with little to no updates on my order. The ordering system--placing the order in one area and then waiting with a buzzer to collect before paying--felt somewhat inefficient, especially during off-peak hours on a weekday when the café wasn't particularly busy. In terms of food, the falafel sandwich was decent, while the croissant was just okay. Overall, the service felt slow and somewhat disorganized during this visit. I later stopped by just for grab-and-go items, and that experience was much smoother and quicker. Overall, the café has a beautiful ambience and fresh offerings, but there is definitely room for improvement in service speed and order management for dine-in items.
