There was very little professionalism or customer care shown during the conversation. In addition, we repeatedly asked them to inspect and address equipment issues multiple times throughout service, and nothing was ever followed up on or repaired. Most disappointing was the complete lack of urgency after explaining that we had Mother's Day plans with multiple mothers and children coming over in just a few days. At that point, we were simply looking for help getting the pool back in shape quickly, but it was clear they did not care about retaining us as customers. Poor communication, lack of follow-through, and poor customer service overall. Please consider another company. Regardless, we asked them to upgrade our aqualink system to a newer one, never got a quote. Fix or replace heater, never got a quote. Price replacing our pool deck and waterline tile, never received a quote. In this economy, we are paying alot for all kinds of services, with your pool you have options. Choose wisely.

It is unconscionable that we were left with a green unusable pool on multiple occasions, despite numerous calls to the owners. We initially found Dave and Willie to be amicable.. and they responded when called. We were even considering having our pool remodeled by them. We saw a decline in our pool after multiple staff changes. Finally, I watched his employee come in, check the water, throw chlorine and leave. No skimmer cleaning, brushing or vacuuming. I ran after him to ask why no brushing, etc. He got Willie on the phone. Willie said you will only receive chlorine service if there is any rain, etc. this happened 2 weeks in a row. Meanwhile my neighbors received their full service. It's obvious they did not value our business. I finally sent Willie a text canceling our service with them. I never received the courtesy of a reply from him. Since changing companies, we now have a pool that is clear, clean, and usable, provided by nothing more than basic pool maintenance.

Red Rhino determined that It was caused by the chip out. I ended up paying $600 for the repair, and Steve refuses to reimburse... this is something so simple and to do the right thing... Steve states that his company came out and found no evidence of a pool leak. Really?! When?! I have 24 hour video surveillance. Coastline never checked! I hired a "Contractor" to fix the upper part of my pool. He's not a fence guy. Regardless of who I used, Coastline did work after, with zero communication and filled in as little Diamond Bright as they could to save money. Steve likes to harp on that, and it's not even mentioned in my review.. I made ONE tile color change BEFORE my project even started. Of course Coastline delivered the WRONG original tile I picked. Steve blames the customer. Just one of the many, many mistakes made.. Maybe you shouldn't take in so many jobs at the same time and actually supervise what's going on! His contract states " fill with pre-filter city water to ensure against staining". When I contacted Steve, who was not around to supervise and told him about the dark stains in my new pool, he came looked at it, would not take responsibility and walked away, paid in full Over time, the pool has continued to deteriorate. Stains got darker and Diamond Brite started to wear away and chip because it was not applied thick enough. I asked Steve Schaefer, Coastline Pools to please come and look at the pool. He spent a few minutes, reluctantly, would not answer my questions, was rude and walked away telling me to contact SGM (Diamond Brite supplier). SGM came and inspected my pool. We talked about the poor workmanship. Their report states, "delamination of the surface, pool material not applied to correct thickness, and molting. Complaint resolution: REDO POOL " SGM is an outstanding, professional company that honored their warrantee. They supplied materials at no cost for the job to be done again. SGM contacted Steve Schaeffer, Coastline Pools to resurface my pool. I received a sloppy unprofessional, hand written proposal from Steve, "install warranty material at cost. COD". If this is an indication of this company's service/work , why would I have them return?? There was no remorse or follow up to remedy my problem until SGM stepped in and contacted him. They kept talking about branches and leaves. I asked them to plse change the pool guy, the tech which I suspected was not doing a good job. After months of spending $ , long text and call exchanges I finally did what I should have done right at the beginning, I found another company who found within 5 minuted why my pool wasn't staying clean AND they charge me only $120 a month. ( which is what it should be) I have had my pool 20 years, I kept telling them, something is wrong with your tech but to no avail. I can not recommend them as they made me loose too much time and $$
