This is seriously the best pizza place I know of. Every time I come out to camp along the river I have to stop by Ike's. Great pizza & great salads. It's so hard to find a pizza place that does chicken white sauce pizzas properly. Ike's nails it every time. Very consistent.

Some good quality pizza at Ike's. What really impressed me is how fresh everything seems--everything came out steaming hot. The pizza crust is tasty and the toppings are plentiful. Also, the potato slices are pretty awesome. A little on the expensive side for what you get (when compared to other pizzerias in Springfield and Eugene). That said, the Simpsons room is impressive, and encourage supporting this local restaurant that's a little ways outside of town.

Pizza was super delicious and arrived FAST! I ordered the McKenzie River special pizza. The wings were perfectly done. Great stop on the side of the highway and the one staff member present was a joy!

Great pizza, friendly staff. Ice-cold beer and air conditioning on a 93 degree day. I'm only sad we don't live closer, this pizza is bomb! Their Simpson's room is pretty awesome too. Definitely worth a visit.

Don't pass by this unique pizza/chicken oasis. Not fancy. Wonderful fried chicken with mountains of thick sliced potatoes. Very good. Pizza is very good too. The pepperoni is our favorite. Piled high on top of a personal Pie it's a treat. Top all of this with a fun one room Simpson's Museum what could be a better place for lunch?

I'm always game for good broasted chicken! If that's what you're looking for, this is THE best place to get it. Think deep fried chicken, crispy skin, moist meat, fried up to delicious perfection. The drive and scenery is beautiful. They have outdoor seating that is relaxing and amazing. It's one of my favorite places in the spring to visit and eat outside. Sitting in the sun, enjoying the breeze and blooming flowers around me. The restaurant is fairly large, being a pizza parlor primarily. They have large tables, for families and groups. There's an arcade on one side, with games and claw machines, and video lottery on the other side, for adult entertainment. So there is something for everyone here. The pizza is pretty good. I always enjoy a good pepperoni pizza, and so does my husband. We typically get a large order (I forget how many pieces) of broasted chicken and then a medium pizza, and for three of us there are leftovers, but we all get what we want and are full. I think the price is relatively expensive, especially after factoring in the almost 50 mile round trip to get there and back. But, I also think it's absolutely worth it. The food, service, scenery, and relaxation factored in there, I love it. The staff seems fine. I mean, they stand at a counter and you tell them what you want. It's not exactly a fine dining restaurant. There's nothing wrong with it, but there's also nothing special about it either. But I have no complaints in the staff department. I do love the fact it's a local, family owned business. I've been eating here for many, many years, and absolutely plan to keep returning. My husband had never been there until we started dating, and now he's a huge fan as well.

Still the best Pizza and Meatball Subs around. A nice relaxing place with plenty of outdoor seating. They also have a ATM, TV's, Video Poker and a few Arcade games for the kiddos.

Passed the tase test with flying colors! Also noticed the freshest basil I have ever seen at a farm stand. And now, I can say, it was more than amazing in our tomato sauce. Wonder how they kept it so fresh? The farm also sells honey, organic popsicles, dried blue and assortment veggies. June brings blueberries picking time. Imagine, organic berries that you can pick. I'd do it in a heartbeat if we were in the area. This is a must see if you enjoy tasteful organic produce.

Fortunately, the nice lady manning the shop said we were still welcome to try the shriveled up berries and look around the farm. My friend and I really enjoyed seeing all the fruit trees, strawberries, rainbow chard (beautiful!), etc. The little shop with fresh farm fares was nice as well. They sell local honey and blueberry popsicles (they were $2 and so-so... I would pass on them if I were torn about whether to try them or not). In any case, the folks here are really nice. They offered my friend and me a slice of watermelon the farmers had been trying; I was warned that it was the tail end of watermelon season so they wouldn't be that great, but it was good enough. Also, apparently, the head farmer is only 26 and from Chicago. So random!

This was a trip to the Sweet Home, Oregon area to hike McDowell Creek Falls. (Highly recommend the falls hike). On our way, we stopped at The Point, just outside of Sweet Home. Not much to look at from the outside and kind of a diner atmosphere inside. Somewhere, I read you had a "view" to the water. As you can see from the picture, it's a view (sort of) to Foster Reservoir. OK. However, the food and service were surprisingly good! I ordered the special of the day, a Chipotle Burger. Cooked perfectly with 1/3 lb local beef patty, bacon, chipotle sauce, lettuce, red onion and accompanied by some very good fries. My wife had the grilled cheese and it was awesome as well. Her only complaint was it had too much bacon. Yes, you heard that right, too much bacon. I also have been trying NA beers and the only brand I have found I like is Deschutes out of Bend. They had a Golden that I hadn't heard of and it was, in true Deschutes fashion, very good. Our server was Becky and she was amazing. She greets the regulars by name, was very helpful and informative, but not too chatty. If we were in this area again, we would definitely go back. Without hesitation. Great find!

Probably the best pizza place in town…read more Came here twice, once on a Friday evening and another during weekday midday. Weekends and evenings are hectic, the place is packed and our wait was around 35 minutes. On weekday midday we were seated and served right away. Servers are very accomodating and attentive. Our food came out relatively fast both times, within 15-20 mins of ordering for multiple dishes. The basic marinara pizza is surpsingly very good and is our favorite so far. The thin crust is cooked perfectly with a satisfying bite, and the marinara with garlic/oregano/olio verde/pecorino was simple yet delicious. All pizzas come with chili flakes and parmesean to add to your liking. The pepperoni and Il Tuffo were great too. The menu has a variety of pizzas with yummy sounding topping combos that keep you wanting to come back and try them all. The location is clean and lively, with a lot of varied seating indoor and out. And, it's tradition to grab icecream next door, which is a good use of time during longer waits. For the price and the quality, the pizzas are definitely worth coming for.

It's weird that I've never written a review for Hey Neighbor It's Pizza (H-N-I-P) before since I…read moreconsider it to be about the best product in town. I won't bore you with details on crust (thinnish with a nice chew) or toppings (interesting varieties and well and evenly dispersed, nothing clumped in one area) and the friendly staff, etc. Nope, I would not have been there numerous times over the last handful of years and recommend it to most everyone I know. So why just the three-star rating? Lemme tell you about a pet peeve of mine: automatic gratuities. Tips added on to the total without any indication to the patron. Don't get me wrong-- I completely understand for larger parties, like six or more. I've spent months/years as a waiter so I understand the frustration of working hard to please a table only to get a 10% tip. As a now-former waiter, I try to tip generously. What I don't understand or expect is an automatic gratuity for small group, especially when I am a solo diner. Just me. Party of one. With minimal indication on the bill as to the added tip. After my last time at H-N-I-P I got the check, added on my own tip and paid. Then I pondered on the total. It seems funky -- why is it more than just the pizza and salad I ate... there's no tax in Oregon... Whuh? I look more closely at the bill and see that they already added on a tip...? I guess they just got a nearly 50% tip from me. Which might be the last tip because it's seriously irritating. In time I'll probably have a pizza craving that only they can fill, and go back. I'll look more closely at the menu to see if and where the automatic gratuity is mentioned. Enjoy the pizza. Beware the automatic gratuity.
