I spent several hours Monday, December 1, calling auto repair shops in the area for estimates on installation of a pair of low beam light bulbs for my 2006 Toyota Corolla. I received estimates from $150 to $40. IKON (funny name) was the last shop that I called. Kent emailed that he could install the pair of bulbs for $25 the next day. I show up just after 9:00am, a young lady comes out of the next office to assist; I ask for Kent whom I previous contacted the day before. Kent comes out, introduces himself, asks for the keys and then proceeds to drive my old reliable Toyota to the work area. Less than twenty minutes later, Kent returns with the job completed. I ask how much do I owe you. He says, "no charge." I said, "excuse me." He asks can I do a review. I said, "let me do it on my computer, you will get a five star review." Kent is the shop owner, I believe; young and very personable guy; quick smile, firm handshake! I recently had a accident where my passenger door had a huge dent. I went to multiple places to get a quote but was charged way too much for my liking. Immediately, Albert took care of me, saying that I needed a brand new door and for it to be replaced. Albert and his team replaced my entire passenger door, and got my car looking how it was before the accident. The hood on my Tesla Model S got crumpled after a run-in with the back of a Jeep's spare tire, and it needed to be replaced and repainted. Ivan took the time to walk me through their process, including how they color match the paint -- very impressive. The final result was flawless. They paid close attention to every detail, spending a lot of time making sure the new hood aligned perfectly with the fenders, body lines, and latch. This is such a great auto body shop. I had a problem with my door on my 2012 VW. I took it to IKON because it was the closest auto body place to my home. The owner of the shop literally drove me home because he needed to keep the car overnight to do the repair! The door was fixed perfectly- and the pricing was absolutely clear and fair- he showed me the cost of the parts exactly as i would have found them if i searched for them myself.
