I originally contacted Marcela earlier this summer. It was regarding a sign I needed done for my storefront. Although I didn't go with Ikon the first time around, I kept them in mind for potential future projects. Why? Because I was impressed by Marcela's promptness and responsiveness. Which seems to be rarer and rarer to find in this town when it comes to doing business with people. Fast forward four months later... For my second project, I needed custom artwork installed as perforated images on my front windows. I was going to hire another company who specifically advertised this type of work. The owner of this other company was extremely flaky. I had to do two follow up phone calls and email him the same week I first contacted him. He kept giving me flimsy excuses as to why he took so long. Well, guess what buddy? You won't be getting any business from me! Buh-bye! I mean, seriously. How hard it is to follow up with people who intend to pay you for a job?? I'm a business owner. I'm ALL about customer service. I don't understand how these other small companies are still around! After wasting my time with the other company, I then remembered Ikon Signs and how pleasant Marcela was to talk to. (The reason I didn't contact Ikon Signs to begin with, was because I thought all they did were signs.) So I called Marcela. Immediately got ahold of her. Asked her if they did perforated images for windows. She said they did. We got the quote and agreement done the same day. I sent her the images two days later. Then about a week later, my artwork was installed on my windows and it looks awesome! Gee! How about that? A great company with great customer service. What a concept!
