I read someone here say, he's in his office most of time. I say there is some truth to that but I am glad that he doesn't micromanages me! He is still watching through his computer what is happening on the floor. He saw me struggling finding a balance once and he came right out to correct my posture. He is watching at all times and I appreciate that. I also love the encouragement that the gives me. His statement, "you are not here to try, you are here to work" lives rent-free in my head. I push myself harder because I know he believes I can do it. The fee can be a little steep for others but you get what you pay for . I treat it as an investment I am making for myself. I now sleep better, have more energy and feels stronger physically. Lastly, there are quite a few people I've met who have been at this gym for over 3 years. What does that tell you? Hop on!

This gym has so much to offer, there are tons of squat racks in the powerlifting room and an incredible amount of machines in the body building room you will not find in commercial gyms. There are foam rollers left and right and I've never had an issue with anything with this gym. One of the owners Gus is pretty amazing at fixing things so you will never really see a machine out of order for any longer than a few short days. There's a vending machine in both rooms, one is for drinks like Gatorade's, pre workout cans and water. The other is filled with protein snacks, bio freeze patches and mini deodorants! These change periodically, there is an outside vendor that comes in to restock and change what these vending machines offer. So much variety! We love. If you are in the area it is worth a day pass for sure, these are purchased ahead of time as someone from staff will need to coordinate to let you in as this gym gives all members a personal key fob to enter. Love the 24/7 access!

Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.

They offer ready-made meals, every kind of protein drink that you can come up with along with waters a place to sit and rest so you really can't go wrong with this gym. The adult swim classes are organized by skill level: Total new swimmers are Guppies (that was me!), and the next levels up in order are Minnows (my second class!), Sharks, and Advanced Beginners. Advanced Beginners, really? Surely you can all think of another cool marine animal name! I vote Swordfish. You're welcome ;) Anyway, my Guppies instructor was Ashton and he was wonderful. He helped me get over my initial fear of putting my face in the water (believe me, it was a huge fear of mine and this was a HUGE deal), and he gave me the basic foundations for freestyle and backstroke swimming. After that class, I enjoyed it so much that I joined again, this time in the Minnows class under the instruction of Matt. Matt was also amazing! He took the skills I learned in Ashton's class and helped me and others fine-tune them. He also taught us more strokes like breaststroke, sidestroke, and dolphin kick. When I first set foot in this pool, I could barely blow bubbles in the water. By the end of two class sessions, I was swimming a good few laps nonstop. If you've ever thought about taking up swimming, I HIGHLY recommend taking the classes here. The prices are crazy good and the instructors are awesome! As for the facility, it's really great for an outdoor pool! Sure, you'll find a few stray foliage from the surrounding palm trees, maybe a dead bee once in a blue moon, but that's not entirely unusual for an outdoor pool. It's clear that they never let the pool get so dirty that it's uncomfortable to swim in it, and I really appreciate that. I live in a housing complex with an outdoor pool and our HOA doesn't do that, heh. The water is also very warm--I've gone swimming in below 60F weather and have been totally fine for the rest of the night. Anyway, this is a great solid pool and I'll be coming here for my swim workouts all the time. Another big shout out and thanks to Ashton and Matt, you guys are the best!

Take it from my team to yours, this place is outstanding. Quality gym equipment, plenty of equipment to go around, spacious lay out, options for calisthenics, weight training and cross fit. Cant leave out the numerous single stall bathrooms WITH showers that are spotless and don't smell of mildew or mold. The staff is approachable, attentive and knowledgeable about how to reach your goals. Can't leave out how versatile they are either, these firefighting surfers are some people I'm glad to have in my corner. From day one, I've felt so welcomed at this gym. It was my first CrossFit class a couple months ago at Ikon and I had no idea what to expect but the owners and coaches made everything feel approachable, guiding everyone through each workout at their own pace with safety and proper form. Reno, James, and Nick are so kind, motivating, and always create a positive atmosphere. I stumbled upon IKON randomly on Google Maps and decided to give it a try one day. I'm so glad I did! I've been going for about a month now and the overall environment is super positive. Unfortunately, instead of noting my request to prevent auto-renewal, they canceled my membership entirely. When I talked Jonathan (or Yonathan) to the gym, I told them which employee had helped me, but I was informed that he no longer works there. Because there were no notes in the system, they said they couldn't correct the mistake. what disappointed me most wasn't just the error--it was how it was handled. Rather than acknowledging that a staff member made a mistake, he simply repeated that "the system can't undo it" and that there was nothing they could do. There was no apology, no ownership, and no effort to find a reasonable solution. The attitude came across as, "You're out of luck." The frustrating part is that I wasn't trying to get out of paying. I was fully willing to continue paying for the remainder of my one-year membership exactly as I had agreed. I simply wanted the original terms honored. Instead, I was left dealing with the consequences of an employee's mistake, and the gym refused to take responsibility because that employee no longer worked there. What was honestly so strange and surprising was their complete unwillingness to help. In my experience, when a business makes a mistake--especially one as small and fixable as this--they usually try to make it right and keep you as a customer. Instead, I was met with a rigid "rules are rules" response. I asked to speak to a manager but Jonathan stated he was the manager. Mistakes happen, but good or even basic customer service is about how a business responds when they do. Unfortunately, this experience which was easily fixable left me very disappointed. Nice equipment but poor management.

I have tried every diet and exercise program under the sun and after two weeks I always lost interest and hope. I am going on 5 months now and seeing the actual results and the change I have always longed for. I am actually dedicated for once and without the help of Bernardo and the friendly and encouraging staff at Body Mack Fitness, that would not be possible. The money that we have spent towards our personally training and memberships at body mac fitness are priceless in exchange for looking and feeling our best when we look in the mirror. I have found a new confidence and I am excited and motivated to see what the future and my continued training with Bernardo will bring. He is a diamond in the rough, and if you are lucky enough to find him and Body Mac Fitness then you are lucky enough :) I will add the photos and let them do the talking.

I'm excited for the results and I'm always happy to go there (which is a first for me when it comes to going to the gym). My trainers have been Cassidy, Desiree, James, Lex and Miranda. They all have their own style and everyone is great to work with, especially at 0545. I recently added Strike Circuit classes to my rotation for the strength training and I'm learning a lot. But the bonus to this gym is all other participants are super supportive of each other. It's a great community.

Desiree was incredible -- she made everything feel seamless, explained the technique so well, and made me feel comfortable right away. She is an excellent trainer, and I highly recommend taking a class with her. I also took weight training and kickboxing with Lex, and it was fantastic. The workout was challenging, energizing, and gave me an amazing cardio burn. I really liked that the classes made me use muscles and parts of my body I do not normally work in a typical workout, which made it feel extra effective. The studio is also very clean, well maintained, and has an overall great vibe. If you are looking for a fun, intense, and well-run studio with excellent trainers, I highly recommend Strike House.
