This place is poop themed, so it's a pretty shitty experience (in a good way). Many seats are in the shape of toilet rolls, there's toilet tissue on the tables & they have an anime mascot girl playing with coprolites. For a theme/novelty place prices were reasonable. Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. Mango Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Great dessert! Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Tasty Ube Coconut Toile Paper Rolls - Yumm! Vietnamese Coffee and Lyche Sakura Soda Downsides -We ordered a Lychee Poop Waffle but were given the Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo. We wanted to experience the waffle but were fine with the Bing-Poo because it was good! -If you are tall, going to the bathroom (whether it be 1 or poo) it was not be fun with a shirt ceiling. -I asked if I could hold our six-year-old as they rolled the ice cream (toilet paper), which is something she's never seen before and they said "No, that's something we don't do." I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. This is a neat little cafe that is located just outside of downtown Toronto. There is metered street parking available on the street that runs along the road in front of the store. Spots were very scarce during my visit. I ended up parking in a lot across the street from the cafe. The cafe is a unique spot and very fun. My littles got a real kick out of the place. The place is a bit aged and could use a little TLC, but I still like the decor. The seats are toilet seats and there are poop murals and poop props that can be used in nice photo ops. They have a poop themed menu that is very extensive. I got a Mango Korean Snow King-Poo, which came in a little toilet bowl. My Littles got an order of Strawberry and a Nutella waffles. They loved it. My treat was delicious. The cafe also serves up awesome poke bowls that has rice made in the likeness of fox. And keeping with the theme, their drink cups are shaped like urinals. I was suprpised to see that the cafe was run by an older Asian couple. I expected so teenagers. But the couple were very helpful and friendly. The cafe's restrooms are located down stairs and FYI, the doors are very low. All in all this was a fun time. My family really enjoyed it. The food was pretty good and the theme was right up my four year old's alley. I finally got to cross off poop cafe off my Toronto cafe bucket list. It's a fun place to check out at least once. I really enjoyed the ambience. The artwork on the wall is consistent throughout the cafe. I like that they have savoury and sweet options. I really enjoyed the Shiba poke bowls. I found the salmon poke option quite filling and had really great presentation. I also enjoyed the tea here and appreciated it is fairly priced, given the fun presentation. It's very easy to get here, just off of Christie station and plenty of street parking is available. read more

Last time I'm coming here. Each time it's progressively worst service, and diminishing menu. There's no tapioca pearls, if you wanted traditional bbt - they have popping boba only now. My kids love this place for the novelty and get a real hoot from sitting on the toilets. Today it was incredibly hot despite the fans. The front was full with two families so we sat in the back. Within 10 mins, nearly entire back half of the restaurant was full of families waiting for service. They had one girl doing the table service/bills/clean up and one girl making the drinks. We, as well as everyone else, waited 16 mins with no service. One family left. Ordered one drink (we were going to order 4 but with I begrudgingly ordered one for my kid who had their heart on one of these drinks). Another 10 mins, roll by. I'm watching everyone walking up to the cash to try to order and pay their bill. Our Drink is dropped off to our table. I try to pay but am left waiting there with credit card in hand to cash out. The two girls are making drinks for the table that's seated. Another 5-10 mins waiting. All in all, it was about 40 mins to order one passionfruit mango drink. Service was so incredibly slow, perhaps they were understaffed. I hate leaving negative reviews for slow service but if you're a young family with kids, realize it's a long wait. read more

Love this place!! I usually don't give 5 stars unless there is that extra amazing, and this spot did that. I love how they carried the theme so well. The decor was hilarious, even the stools looked like little toilet seats, the cups and bowls were little toilets. I loved it! Then the desserts, HOLY MOLY they were delish. The freakshake was a 9 out of 10, the hot tea and tea bagger was shaped like a poop emoji. The mango sundae and tea. NOTE: I would rate it 3.5 stars I've heard about Poop cafes in Asia so when I heard Koreatown had one I wanted to check it out. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed by the cafe design. I feel like if they wanted to commit, they should have a lot more. Layout itself seemed like a mix of the poop cafe theme and also the 2D cafe theme. Furthermore, it was just toilets and drawings of poop. Next, the theme should have translated into the food as well. I think other food showcased this better, but I ordered the bubble waffle with oreo icecream and it just had a chocolate poop to indicate it was poop flavored. I will admit the urinal shaped water container was pretty cute. It was pretty quiet when we went to the rate of the service didn't bother me much, but it is only one person working. So I can imagine when it gets busy, the service might be slow. The bubble waffle with oreo icecream was pretty good. When in Rome? We tried this "unique" Cafe because I found it listed in an article of Toronto's most interesting sites. It is a small cafe with limited seating and you can't make reservations, so if you're coming with more than one other person on a weekend, you should be prepared to wait for a table. The menu descriptions are a bit vague, so we weren't sure what we were ordering. I got the mermaid sundae, which was just ice cream, whipped cream, and white chocolate mermaid tails and sprinkles. Of course, drinking tea out of a toilet cup or ice cream out a toilet bowl is kitschy and fun. Don't take yourself too seriously while eating here and don't expect a four star establishment either. Honestly we came here (pre-pandemic) because we wanted dessert rather than for the theme/aesthetic LOL. But their whole store is washroom themed: they have urinal shaped mugs for drinks, and toilet shaped seats/bowls too. Quite quirky We got 2 bubble waffles with ice cream (ube coconut and fruit pebbles), and as you can see they look pretty normal other than the poop shaped meringue. It was okay. There sure was a lot of hype surrounding the opening of this trendy dessert cafe and, I guess given on the basis of pure novelty, it might have been warranted. We decided to hit it up as a group for my niece's birthday. The children in the group being 6 and 12, it's no surprise they were the most excited to come and eat the Asian birthday version of cake and ice cream here. 2 of us ordered milkshake dishes and the rest of us went with the bubble waffle dishes. The portions are very big, but the quality was mediocre. I expected better tasting ice cream and wondered if I shouldn't have went with the bing su instead. The chocolate and vanilla were both pretty bland. The waffle was okay but not as crisp as I'd have wished. The poop pops decorating the dishes are all very cute - but deceptive! We all expected them to taste like caramel - but they taste like bubble gum. Weird! But funny haha weird. We were able to book our reservation in advance and so we got a perfect setting for our party at the back of the restaurant, upstairs. Unfortunately, the rest of the service was a bit lacking. Many of our orders were given to the wrong people, including the hot teas afterwards. There's some trouble being able to be understood as most of the staff have limited knowledge of English. Worst part of the service was the inability to split the bill properly - for some bizarre reason, they would only do a 50/50 split down the middle. Huh?? Nice experience for the novelty. This cafe has 2 floors. There's only a couple of tables on the ground floor when you enter. The rest of the tables are up a flight of stairs. Seating is along the left wall where the couches are poop shaped with some poop plushies as cushions. The seating across from the wall are toilet seats. The overheard lighting are lamps in the shapes of plungers. The lighting isn't directly over a table so be careful you don't walk into the lighting when going to and from the couches. Service was on the slow side on a Saturday night. There was only one server taking care of all the customers and taking payments at the cashier in between. We did see another staff member assisting with bringing up food from the kitchen downstairs. The food itself is average at best. It's ice cream with waffles or toppings. My friend had the poop waffle with Nutella. She found the dough inside on the mushy side and we asked a staff member about it. She told us that eggs aren't used in the making of the waffles and therefore the inside isn't as crispy as the outside. The HK egg waffles were done just right. The only issue was that the part folded under got soggy from the melting ice cream after a while. The drinks come in huge mugs theatre shaped like toilet. It's almost like having a drink from a soup bowl. My friend found her green tea latte too bitter but that's just personal preference. Poop cafe is certainly an interesting concept that was very hard to pass up my trip to Toronto. Having seen it on insider food, I knew I had to make a stop here to check what the hype was all about. Immediately as you approach this shop, you'll see an abundance of poop related props and decor. There was so many poop items around us that it felt a bit overwhelming. When we arrived there was hardly any wait and we were seated immediately. The music is pretty loud in here and theres enough space available for groups as well. Their staff was small but they were very nice and attentive. We ordered their doo doo waffle - nutella and custard (4/5). They are pretty standard and very similar to filled donuts. There wasn't anything incredibly special about the waffle except that it came shaped like a poop emoji. The waffles were packed with a generous dollop of nutella and custard which was a huge plus for me, as I'm used to small amounts of filling as dessert shops. We also noticed that their drinks came out in toilet shaped mugs and or urinal shaped cups. Overall, their concept here is really funny and adorable. Our group was so full from a day eating but we had to check this place out regardless and we regret not getting more. This spot is definitely worth a try if you're in the area. read more

The paintings and couches make me think that this business started more of as a small passionate project of someone's, which I appreciate. Brought my friend from LA here for dessert because of the unique theme. On a hot day, their desserts will really hit the spot. There are a couple tables out on the sidewalk for outdoor dining, but you can also ask to sit inside now after paying for your order at the front. My friend wanted to experience the decor so we sat inside. We ordered mango shaved ice, and Nutella shaved ice. They use Kawartha Lakes ice cream which is amazing! So creamy and full of flavor. My mangos were perfectly ripe and the best choice. My friends Nutella came with strawberries but they were pre-frozen slices since some were ice hard for her. She still enjoyed it but thought it would be fresh fruit. It was a good thing this place was empty since the tables don't have any barriers between them. If you came here hoping to get pics with the pre-covid toilet bowls, they are not serving food in those yet. They also did not offer us any water like they used to. Felt more like a food court approach now. Perhaps that will change in the future as they transition back to normal operations. They also had a fruit fly problem. There are fruit flies everywhere which doesn't help the dining experience. If you want face masks though, they have a huge selection in front for sale. read more

The Poop Cafe is not for the squeamish. Of course, if seeing chocolate shaped poops or ice cream in a toliet bowl, I would not recommend this place. As a Texan visiting Toronto, I found the Poop Cafe online and thought it was a very unique idea. I knew I had to visit! The Poop Cafe is a dessert cafe with sugary/asian type ice cream, milkshakes, and waffles basically a sugar overload! On a normal weekday afternoon, there was around a 10/15 minute wait and because of its proximately to downtown, the parking is a struggle. We ended up parking far and Ubering which seemed cheaper. I ordered a Bingsu which was basically ice cream in a toilet bowl with some fruits and cream. The ice cream seemed very icy and less creamy or milk based. It was pretty big and can easily be shared among 4 people. It becomes overly sweet after some time. I believe you can also switch up the fruits or the flavor of ice cream to whatever you desire. I would say if you are visiting Toronto and want to try a unique dessert cafe, try it out. I would not visit this cafe again, but it was an experience for a one time visit. read more

We went based off of the dessert recommendations from Yelp. They have a large variety to choose from. You also have to wrap your mind around the concept of poop and sitting on toilet seats. Presentation and food was very good. The reason for my low rating is cleanliness and customer service observations. Spoons are left out on the table(assuming they are clean). I prefer clean utensils be brought to me. The doorway leading to the downstairs kitchen wasn't too clean. Andit could be a cultural difference, but the manner in which the server would yell(communicate) with the prep person downstairs was not too professional. The poop emoji has a special place in my heart so everytime I visit here, it sparks a little childhood joy. The cafe has poop-shaped couches and toilet seats to sit on. Its funny, I'e past this place a number of times but had no desire to go in until a friend of mine who loves novelty decided we should investigate. We are both big lovers of random gimics but I felt like the poop cafe kind missed the mark. I tried the poop bowl almond caramel flavour with shaved ice. It was good but kinda became a mostly icy decadent lactose heavy sludge which I could not finish. My friend had the croissant thing and had a similar complaint. Also the water out of the little urinal was also a bit off-putting. Its funny about the psychology of all this. I really wanted to convince myself the water was fine but was hesitant. You go here for the poop; the huge corgi prop that is pooping in the front and where you stick your head through for pictures, the toilet that you drink your coffee from, the tub that you get your ice cream rolls in, and most importantly of all, the toilets that you sit on. Adjusting our expectations, we weren't expecting much for the dessert. For my 4th food adventure of the day, my cousin and I stopped by this Poop Cafe. My cousin has been here before and told me it's a cute cafe to get dessert. We ordered a chocolate bingsoo to share since the portion size was big. Our dessert came with a poop lollipop, chocolate, ice cream, snow ice, almonds, sliced strawberries, and brownies on a toilet shaped bowl. I enjoyed this dessert, but I wish there was more bingsoo and less of everything else. It's enough dessert to split among two people since the brownie was super filling. I love the cafe's decorations. There are toilet seat chairs, poop wall paper, poop pillows, plunger lights, and so much more poop themed items. There seemed to be only one staff working at the cafe (front desk staff/waiter/kitchen staff). The poor staff had to serve everyone at the cafe, clean up tables, and make everyone's orders. There are cute poop-themed dolls that you can take pictures with. Last time I went, they had two massive poop dolls placed in the store. Being a dessert place, you'll get to choose from a few different types of desserts/snacks. Bingsu, thai ice cream rolls, egg waffles with ice cream, milk tea, milkshakes, and poop-shaped waffles. I had the nutella bingsu and the custard poop waffle. They are not bad. Bingsu is really small for what you're paying for, but they at least throw in a ferrero rocher in there I suppose. It's definitely not enough to share with two people. I can't remember if there was even that much shaved ice. There was a lot of corn flakes and almonds though. Basically lots of cereal. While my review is not particularly favourable, the Problem is, where else would you find bingsu in koreatown? You'd think there'd be more dessert options beyond baskin robbins. read more
