    Two slices, pepperoni and jalapeno.

Last weekend (10/13) the wife and I went on our monthly get-a-way and decided on Siesta Key, have not been there in a while and lot has changed. We stayed at the only hotel on the island and that place has changed as well. It now has a bar and a food truck that parks on the side, didn't eat there but thought it was convenient nun-the less. After an afternoon of walking the strip and day drinking it was time for some pie. After checking in on some of the pizza joints, none of which served slices, we found this place on one of the side streets. It really needs to be on the strip and exposed. It was late in the evening and was surprised by the selection. Decided on pepperoni and jalapeno slices. The slices were thin and crispy, good cheese and sauce. The place has plenty of seating inside and out. Next time when we're down that way I will have to get in there early in the day and try a sandwich. All in all, if your looking for a slice and not a whole pie, this is the place. Give it try and see what you think, peace.

Not too impressed As soon as you walk in there is a display case of pizzas for pizza by the slice. They looked like they had been there a long time. My thought of having pizza slipped away. Maybe if you warmed them up and saw them under better lighting they would be more appealing. Lot of the reviews for their pizza rate them high, so maybe if they were busier with customers and more pizza turnover my first impression would have been different. Instead of pizza my wife and I had sandwiches, mine their Italian Sub. It was good, soft bread, good size, but minimal ingredients. Nothing to write home about but here I am writing about it. It looks like they only offer one size pizza, quite large, one of the other reviews says 18". I can't say I was impressed with the place. It was kind noisy inside, not customer noise but fan noise, equipment noise, music beat noise. They have a few tables inside and a couple more outside, including a picnic table. That would have been a better choice. I thought the place was kind of a dive, tables that needed to be wiped off, grey concrete floor, some old photos, nothing looked clean or new except the drink coolers that lined much of the wall. One last thing, I noticed after I got home, I was charged a convenience fee of 3.99%. Was this because I used a credit card? I don't know, I didn't notice any sign and there is nothing about it on their paper menu I took home. Also nothing on their website. I would have paid cash if it was a credit card service fee, had I known. I'm not talking big money here, but if I'm earning 1% rewards on my card and you are charging me 4%, I actually want to know. And I blame the restaurant if I don't.

I came here based on reading the reviews and it's in a good location in downtown Siesta Key. I ordered the full Greek Salad which is very reasonably priced at $9. They didn't know if the dressing was gluten free so I didn't have it but otherwise the salad was delicious. My grandparents loved their salads as well. The staff is friendly, service is fast, and there is seating inside and outside.

Read a bunch of reviews for pizza joints on Siesta Key, and they were all over the place when it came to who had consistently good pie. This place didn't have many reviews, but the handful of positive reviews were convincing. I ordered for carry out, it was ready right when I arrived, just coming out of the oven, and it looked amazing. The staff was friendly and engaging, despite being extremely busy. Salads are fresh with plenty of quality toppings and dressing. They have a different take on bruschetta, I didn't care for it, but my wife and daughters did. The pies are big-18", wedge cut, 8 slices. Great crust, thin but not to thin and they crisp them up. I meant to ask for well done, but always forget. It's like they read my mind. Had the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pie. Really good flavor. Also got a Sicilian Meat pizza, incredible!!!! Thicker crust, 2 actually, in rectangular shape, great toppings, great sauce, I ate too much. I had good luck, and usually I've got the luck of the Irish which is none at all. I highly recommend trying this place. They even do by the slice and have carry out alcohol!!!

Pepperoni and Mushroom Large Pie - really crispy thin crust - my family and I loved it!

Worst service. Took over an hour to get 3 pizzas to go. Kitchen staff was completely disorganized.

(Mind you it does say hamburger so that was our fault). My Reuben was delicious. I am a picky Reuben eater, the marble rye was butter/flat top toasted (a nice crunch) with fresh corned beef, Swiss, dressing and I enjoyed the pickle on it. The right amount of everything. Our server was polite, and on top of everything. We suck and didn't catch his name (our fault not his), younger guy with a bald head, Monday lunch closer. Thanks for taking care of us and 3 little kids. The closing host was also awesome noticing that my kids loved the wiki stix and gave us more to take home. Thanks

OUCH The other PAM was modified and I rated this one the same. Another OUCH I wanted so much to love this place but when you're eating your meal and thinking my OJ at home is sooo much better than this one. I wonder how long this bacon has been sitting around because it's dry and tough? THAT's NOT GOOD. Food should taste fresh as though it was just made, FOR ME. This food was not. It lacked flavor was not very warm and again did not express freshness. Bagel was also just okay. No where near a New York Bagel. Overall for a restaurant to be memorable each individual item has to be the best. This results in a total amazing meal. This meal unfortunately was not amazing just Okay. What was good? Glad you asked. Coffee was warm & tasted good. Extra points for providing real cream on the side. Love that! It's a great touch! The cream cheese was excellent. Service was also good. I think this place has great potential but definitely needs a new chef with more upscale, fresh ideas.

The Original Wolfie's Restaurant, Deli & The Rascal House Bar is a New York-style Jewish deli in Sarasota. They're known for classic deli fare like pastrami, Reuben sandwiches, matzo ball soup, potato pancakes, stuffed cabbage, and famous cakes like the Rascal House chocolate cake. The vibrant deli is filled with Broadway & celebrity memorabilia. It is a modern revival of a classic deli with full-service dining, a lively bar, and both indoor & outdoor seating, As a child, a highlight of visiting, my grandparents was getting online at Wolfie's in Miami Beach. The original, iconic Wolfie Cohen's Rascal House and Wolfie's Delicatessen in Miami Beach & Sunny Isles closed in 2008. The original Miami Beach locations were famous landmarks for 50 years before closing. We almost missed the deli. It's sort of around the corner in a little alleyway. We walked in past the bakery, deli meats, salads, and desserts before getting to the maître D. Danielle waited on us, she was informative and on point. We shared a pastrami on Rye and a potato knish. It was a lot of memorabilia inside as well as a full bar. We sat outdoors. It was a beautiful afternoon. Our potato knish was large. It was enough for two of us, a little cold in the middle. Our pastrami sandwich was too big to fit in my mouth, the meat was a little dry and tough. The dessert we ordered 4 Rugelach that tasted more like cake. I'm glad we shared because this would've been much too much to eat on my own. There seem to be confusion between our waitress and the kitchen, either they brought out something that we didn't order or nothing came out and Danielle thought we were serve served. Our shared dinner was reasonable, $40 for the both of us.
