ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Ordered for an Office meeting, the whole team LOVED their chicken francese and penne alla vodka. We have been frequenting Angelina's in Westport for over 10 years with our two daughters, every Sunday. Its become tradition for us. We recently catered our 18 year olds graduation party - chicken francese, penne ala vodka, tossed salad, and rolls - for 50+ people. Marsio helped us decide our menu and the food was ready for pick up exactly on time. Our guests loved the food and we ate the leftovers for the next two days! Just had a terrible experience with the restaurant. I ordered a ortolana pizza at 3:47 on slice for a 6:15 pickup. Went to pick up my order at around 6:20. Was told that my order came in only 7 mins prior and had not been prepared. Told the person I ordered before 4pm and showed him the status on slice. He first insisted the pizza was not made but then went to pulled out a box and said that was my order. I became suspicious and opened the box to check, and, it was a cheese pizza. Then he kept saying I had ordered a cheese pizza even though the slip in his hand showed it was an ortolana pizza and I told him repeatedly. No apologies whatsoever. Then the manager came out and also blamed it on slice. No apologies for the trickery at all. Will never order from them again. read more

We like their food. But don't ask them to deliver! Delivery service is horrible. When we ordered I asked, "how long? " and the reply was "45 mins." So someone tells me Angelina's makes the best chicken marsala (and veal) and I'm like- yeah..have heard that one before. But when a craving hits, I call them for pick-up and let me tell you this was one of THE best chicken marsalas I have ever tasted. Tons of mushrooms, delicious rich sauce and TENDER chicken. Now the pasta on the side could have used a little help. And the veal marsala we got for my dad was too TOUGH... but everything else about it was good. Hard to find good quality tender veal anymore. We went back intensively three times in one week to give them another try because I wanted to believe it's just one time bad luck on us. One day we got sick, threw up at night. One day the eggplants tasted soapy. One day the order took so long, we walked in during day light and at the end packed up foods to go, at 7pm. Don't eat here. All of our sandwiches were burnt. The person ringing up the food couldn't find it in himself to wear his mask over his nose and was hacking while cashing me out. I called to see if they were willing to fix the problem, and they kept just telling me only the bread is burnt but the chicken is fine. I feel for business trying to survive during Covid, but it's up to the businesses to make sure they provide the best food, service and keep everyone safe by wearing their masks the correct way. My favorite part about Angelina's is the affordability. It's probably the best value of all the restaurants in Wepo. Not to say that takes away from quality, everything here tastes great. I'm a big fan of the pizza here. My personal favorite is the chicken parm pizza. Usually pretty good although sometimes not as cooked as I like (I like my pizza well done). Most things are good on the menu here. Staff is friendly but can be slow and/or forgetul ocassionally. Also, it sometimes feels like the tables are too close together. Feels like NYC haha. Overall, one of the better spots in wepo for quick, cheap italian food. It's been aroune for awhile so, if anything, that should tell you all that you need to know read more

I wanted so much to not believe the less than stellar reviews but I'm sorry to say that I was not happy with my visit to Angelina's. I had what I would have to say was the worst Chicken Parmesan I have ever had. The pizzas seem to be OK, but nothing I would say stands out that would make it better than, pedestrian. I have lived in the area for 20 years and this was my first time at Angelina's. It will also be my last. Went for lunch on Tuesday we were the only customers at the time we arrived I ordered pasta fagioli soup and chicken supreme panini my husband had minestrone soup and meatballs parm sandwich It took over 30 min for the soup to arrive and the minestrone tasted like vinegar literally it was so sour it was inedible mine was more like pasta with barely any liquids in it The worst was the panini it was charred on one side the chicken so dry that it could not be cut with knife I was able to shred it with fork and eat some pieces of it but it was tasteless This was by far the worst sandwich I ever had I should have send it back but I was hungry and we were pressed for time We use to go the all the time and it was always delicious and lively place to go either for lunch or dinner but this experience was nothing like we had before the pandemic things changed and not for the better. Excitedly, I ordered the pasta fagoli, but was quickly let down once I had that first bite. Completely sour, and tasted spoiled. Disgusting. I threw the whole thing out I couldn't eat any of it. When I contacted the restaurant, the woman who picked up was zero help and lacked a proper apology for the spoiled soup.
