You still have to get out of the car so they can complete the test and it was mighty cold out that day. They have an enclosed room where you can wait, but I was not offered the chance to go inside. I imagine it's because the test is so fast now. The car passed inspection. The person who did the test thanked me for coming by - she was very pleasant. This location also has a place where you can renew your plates. My plates are still up to date so I didn't have to go inside but I have used them before and was pleased with their service.
