They never notified me that they don't have a grace period when I had booked over the phone and told me they couldn't continue with the appointment even if I was only running a minute late. Owner refused to refund my deposit even though it was their fault for not notifying me that I couldn't even be a minute late when I initially booked. Services typically have a 15 min grace period because life happens but this place doesn't care and will take your money without hesitation.

We started taking my three year old here about 10 months ago. His first cut was with Desirae, and…read moreshe was SO PATIENT. He wasn't okay with the scissors, but we figured out that he did fine with the clippers as long as he had his face smooshed against me. After some creative chair turning to get him to turn his head, the whole thing was done. His second cut (unfortunately I don't remember the stylist's name) was also great, and we used the same method, with him on my lap and his face against me. Today, I decided to try putting him in one of the race car chairs again, and this time he loved it. The only hard part was his constant moving and wiggling, but Desirae had no problem getting his hair buzzed anyway, and even managed to use different lengths and blending to give him a cute cut while he wiggled away! Also good to note - we needed her to mask up because we live in a multigenerational household, and one of our family members is immunocompromised. She was awesome about it, and also mentioned that on the online reservation form there's a place to request that, so she'll be masked when we come in. I feel so lucky that we live near such a great kids salon!
