I joined this gym exactly 6 months ago. I love it. I was pretty terrible at first, but I've gotten a lot better. The staff is friendly and the community of other kickboxers is nice and welcoming. They celebrate birthdays and class # milestones to create community. I joined this gym as a fitness intervention, but it turned out to be equally a mental health intervention. read more

Even though I have been going for a year and a half, the workouts still kick my booty every time! I love all of the instructors and there is always so much positive energy. I love coming here, ironic since people come here to work out. I've been a member for a little over a year now. When I first signed up I was extremely nervous because I've never done kickboxing before. I didn't want to commit to a membership immediately so I signed up for the online offer - 5 classes for only $40! They also have 3 classes for $30. When I signed up, I was told to meet 15 mins prior class - you meet with the instructor, sign a waiver and the instructor briefly goes over what to expect. It is a class setting which is a little nerve-racking but everyone is so welcoming and you make new friends along the way! They have different class times depending on the day, and they have a variety of membership plans you can choose from! ALL the instructors are AWESOME and so supportive!! You truly do become a fit-family here. So if you're looking to have some fun while working out, highly recommend ILKB! read more

I haven't been back to this kickboxing studio since covid hit. I went back this last week for a Monday night workout. And oh my gosh. I had so much fun and it was a great workout. You start off with a VERY intense 15 min warm up around the room. Then you do different sets with your kickboxing gloves and punching and kicking the bag. My heart rate was up the whole class- but I still found it doable and not intimidating or overwhelming. I burned 600 calories in that hour. The playlist was awesome- loved every song they played- and the coach went around the room helping w our punches and jabs. Def a great workout class! read more

Thank you so much ILKB Northwest Reno for welcoming me to your studio. I reached out via Facebook inquiring if I would be able to take a class while on vacation. I belong to a studio near my home and didn't want to miss my normal Monday routine. I was told yes, come on in! I arrived just before 6am and met coach Katie. From the beginning Katie was very welcoming. The workout was fantastic and I felt right at home and so very grateful I was able to visit. It's a great place to work out. The people are very friendly, the instructors really give you a hard workout and will get you fit. Everyone is in their own fitness level, and the whole class is incredibly supportive of one another, and I have gotten in really good shape since I started two years ago. I love going to this gym Ilovekickboxing is always clean with great enthusiastic trainers that recieve you with smile and motivate you to get fit and stay fit . I decided to try this place out after seeing an ad for it online. My first class was Wednesday after work and I walked in and first off was completely ignored by the girl at the front desk, she sat there looking at her phone the entire time I walked around clueless. When she finally looked up she was extremely snobby and rude and said I didn't have a reservation for the class. I assured her I did and pulled up my confirmation I had in my email. She rolled her eyes and said she guessed I could jump in but that I should've been there earlier even though there was no mention of that. The class was okay, the instructors were super low energy, rude and down right snobby like they did not want to be there. The mats we were working out on were dirty, had hair all over it. I had to put a towel down to even bare to get into a plank on this thing. Overall a horrible experience. I'll take my business somewhere clean and with people who actually care to help me reach my goals. 0/10 recommend. read more
