My phone screen was cracked and broken so bad! (This wasn't my first rodeo with a broken phone) I brought it here and the owner was so nice he fixed it for me quickly, he was also comforting when i realized that i was going to end up losing all of my data (because i didn't back up anything and I got myself completely locked out) He told me my only option was to restore so he even restored it for free! Which was really nice of him and on top of that he let me have a free phone case! Super great place, the price was much cheaper than what apple was going to charge me, and he was very honest which i appreciated. The last phone repair tech i went to was really rude. Phone had a charging problem. Got a diagnosis about it being my charger instead of my phone. Was advertised about some Belkin charger that had a turbo charge feature and it would be 15% because I was a student. My charger was working again but I decided to keep the charger as a back up. Ended up opening the new charger since I misplaced my original one. Turns out the Belkin didn't have a turbo charge feature. Checked the price online. Do not recommend this place. They are very sloppy and you will likely end up paying extra service fee, time, huge amount of patience without getting your phone fixed (FURTHER DAMAGES IN MY CASE). If you do not want to pay forced fees, wait forever, further damage your phone or get tired of calling for updates. DO NOT go to this store. My phone was water damaged and sent to this store 43 days ago. The manager admitted my phone saying the repair can cost $65-125, the technician shall examine the phone and call back to let me know the exact price within 24 hrs. Here the tedious story begins: no call was received about quotes till a week later when I made the call myself. They decided to charge me $125 and start the service anyway without my approval. The initially promised time frame was 10 days. However, it took three weeks for me to find out their initial trial did not work out. Despite the time frame, the store went on ordering another part without any noticed and asking me to wait another 3 days. Then, another 7 days passed without any information and I had to walk to their store to find out the second part just arrived and I shall receive updates in 2days. It turns out that the 2days equals another 7days by their definition of time and I HAD TO CALL EVERY TIME to FIND OUT what's going on. The store has been very good at pushing my patience to limits. On the 43rd day, the 6th week, and the third visit, I finally got their answer that they cannot fix it. I got my broken phone back after paying a $39 service fee. It is easy to tell that my phone had been rudely treated by the person fixing it because there are so many scratches and dents, and that really pisses me off. The fishy parts include hidden fees, unexplained service fees, failure to provide updates as promised, failure to deliver promised service within a reasonable time, and failure to return my phone as it was. I am not happy with the way the store conducts its business. There are so many would have done that could have prevented this 1-star review. If you have a water-damaged phone, wanting to get an exact quote and trustable time frame before paying any service fees. Go somewhere else. read more

The charging port on my LG phone screwed up. It would not accept a charge except wirelessly. My son was also having problems with his phone. I spoke to a couple different repair shops but Shawn let me pay for the parts over the phone using zelle so I didn't have to come in. He let me know when the parts arrived. I was devastated when I accidentally went swimming with my iPhone 7 in a pool and didn't realize I had my phone in my pocket for ~30 mins. I had my iPhone 7 for 6+ years since 2016 and only backed up about 10% of my photos to iCloud, so needless to say I was devastated. I went to TWO other places that supposedly specialized in data recovery before coming to Image Wireless, and both could not do what Shawn's team did for me in about 1-2 days. I came to Shawn Pak from ARIZONA. I'm from Los Angeles originally, but I will make the trip to Shawn again if I ever need data recovery help again. He is a really good person, honest, and really cares about his customers. The level of service is fantastic, he kept me fully updated with multiple calls and texts throughout the day, letting me know of the progress, and even texted me after hours and when he went away on a trip. He would stay late at the shop for me. I truly can't thank him enough. Before Image Wireless, I went to a place in Peoria, AZ that couldn't recover my data and even stole my phone's lens and speaker, giving me back my phone in pieces! (Know this: if you go to a shop, you should get ALL your parts back. Don't let them convince yo otherwise). I then made a trip to Los Angeles to Group Micro across the street from Image Wireless because they had such great reviews on Yelp. Group Micro took my logic board and didn't do anything with it for SIX days, and I had to call several times just to get any updates. I was super disappointed with them. Group Micro told me "if we can't do it, you know no one will be able to, ok? We will try our best". I'm sure they're honest people but they didn't accomplish anything in those six days and I had to chase them for updates. I was super worried because they had such great reviews but couldn't help me, so I felt like I would never get my data back. I then went to Image Wireless around 5pm, really worried after the two places before couldn't turn my phone on to get my data. I could tell Shawn cared and wanted to help. And the very next day Shawn called me mid-day and said they were able to get my phone working and could get the data!!! I couldn't believe it. I was getting close to having to call Drive Savers, which costs $3k, but Shawn and his technicians saved me and at a very reasonable price of about $465. I will refer everyone I know to him from now on. I am forever grateful to him. I initially was going to go somewhere else, however they were closed. And then I saw this shop from the corner of my eye across the street. My BlackBerry decided to completely breakdown over the holiday. I was extremely worried I would not be able to find anyone who had tech experience with Blackberrys. This is not the first time I've been to Shawn Pay. Few years ago while I was in my first year at UCLA, I dropped my iPhone 4 into sunset swimming pool on campus. It instantly stopped turning on. I dried the phone in a rice bag and took it to apple store and met those geniuses at the bar who couldn't help me revive my phone. I take a lot of pictures and losing phone is fine but not the memories. I don't usually give up so I kept the phone in the rice bag and tried turning on but in vain. As a one last resort I took it to Shawn at Image Wireless. He instantly brought it to life with a lil' trick. He was kind enough not to charge me. Years later, two days ago, I changed my iPhone 8plus to 14 Max pro. Thanks to a friend who gave me a early B'day gift. But after taking all precautions of successful transfer, I noticed that 3000 odd photos were in the deleted folder. Since I already subscribed to the $2.99 200 GB iCloud space, and l presumed I had everything backed up. But alas, to my horror, I lost those photos. I instantly knew if there was anyone who could quickly find a solution, it would be Shawn Pak. I saw him the next afternoon and he effortlessly tried a trick which worked. At one point he suggested a data recovery store which is supposedly the #1 in the country, who instantly said they can't bring back my photos. But thankfully Shawn didn't give up. I love how positive he stayed saying "I haven't given up yet". Thankfully with Shawn's expertise (and my prayers) I was able to retrieve my pictures or should I say my treasure of memories got saved. Apple should rather sell apple cider at the genius bar where the genius's could serve as bartenders. They have zero know how about anything other than look down upon people. My experience here is two fold: The first visit to this store was in October on short time with groceries and my girlfriend, seeking advice about the latest phones. The Manager Shawn gave a very detailed review of the products and their strengths, at no point moving too fast to create a transaction. Just recently, after helping family by joining their plan, I returned with a new iPhone. Shawn was very attentive and took considerable amount of time to help me with transferring past content on my Samsung, which he provided an overnight loaner for the full completion. I had an AMAZING experience and they helped bring my essential laptop back to a better than ever condition! The turnaround for the repair was very fast. The price for parts and labor was very acceptable. The bonus was having Shawn oversee the interaction. The quality of the work was very high. My computer has never run so smoothly, even after Dell repaired it 3 years ago. I have only PRO comments to make. No CONs!!! My amazing little 2012, i7, 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop had a leaking screen that was slowly going dim. Since Windows 11 is coming, I did not want to buy a new laptop with similar functionality that would be over $1,300 or get one that was subpar and would be out of use when Windows 10 expires in 2025. Bedsides, mine is still one of the fastest computers I have used. Dell said they no longer make the screen replacement and could not help (they replaced the screen for the same problem 3 years prior!) I could see there were aftermarket screens I could buy and put in. But could also see it would be technically challenging. So, I stopped by Image Wireless and talked with Shawn. He was cautious about the aftermarket replacement screens, which I appreciate. He found an acceptable supplier for the screen and let me know the cost before proceeding. I also needed to increase my SSD main drive size and he verified the feasibility, then identified a drive that meet my needs. After approving both items, they ordered them and quickly replaced the screen and cloned my system to the new SSD.
