Was having a frustrating ghost screen issue where it was auto typing and launching apps etc. Verizon was completely useless especially when I didn't have insurance even when I thought that I did. Where can I start? First and foremost I want to thank Shawn so much for his generosity and kind heart. I recently dropped my Google Pixel when it was raining the other day and I searched every repair store from Koreatown to even Hollywood, but NO ONE knew how to fix this new phone. All other repair shops only knew how to fix iPhones! This happened at 10pm when majority of the stores were closed. I was very upset and discouraged. I decided to send a yelp message to many repair stores and within 30 minutes, I received a nice, candid reply from Image Wireless. The next morning, I called the repair shop and explained my situation to Shawn. I originally had an insurance coverage when I had Samsung Galaxy Note 7 but due to a global recall, I traded my Note 7 to Google Pixel. I got the Pixel, but lost my insurance and I was frustrated. Shawn told me that the insurance company should have transferred my service or gave me an option to receive the benefits since it was a mandatory recall. He told me that although he can help me fix it, he would rather want me to receive the benefits through the insurance. So right away, I called the insurance company and they made an exception for my situation. I was so BLOWN AWAY by this whole process. The insurance told me that I could go to any legitimate and legal phone repair shop to get it fixed and they told me that I could get reimbursed. Right when I heard this, I took my phone back to the Image Wireless and trusted Shawn to repair my phone for me. Since google pixel LCD and screen is an expensive product, they didn't carry it at the store but Shawn requested a 1-day shipping delivery from the warehouse and I got my phone fixed the next day. I have my phone with me 24/7 and I am a phone addict. I have many incoming calls that I need to answer. This whole process could have been very nasty and ugly but Shawn handled my matter quickly and conveniently. While I was getting my phone repaired, Shawn gave me a loaner phone so that I wouldn't be phoneless for a day. This was definitely relieving and a good news for me. I bought a certified Iphone 6 battery in December 2017, I was told. One month later it is not working and my phone dies at 60% I went in and said I was told this was an Iphone battery. Now the apple store will not work on my phone. I asked specifically that I only want a battery that is apple battery so that if something went wrong I could still take my phone to apple store. When I back in to say I want the apple battery back in so I could go to the apple store he wanted to charge me again a fee of 25.00 to put the battery in. I paid 93.00 for a fraud apple battery when I could of just gone to the apple store and get it for 80.00 total. He also yelled at me to get out of the store and threaten to call the police. Same thing happened to me as happened to Zero on 8/27. I mistook Image Wireless for the Repair store a couple shops down. I went in and proceeded to have a conversation with a store employee about how I called earlier and was the customer with the software errors. He went along with it (knowing full well that I had actually called somebody else) and said that he'd have his "specialist" look at it but that it would be a couple days. He took my phone, didn't give me an estimate or a statement of work or anything, and said he'd call me. Thank goodness something felt "off" and I went back on Yelp to do my research, otherwise who knows how long they would have led me on about "fixing" it. Look up the filtered reviews - there are tons of 1-star reviews all complaining about Shaun's unethical and misleading business practices. This store fixed my Apple Mac book and Apple I phone 7 plus within less than 1 hour as my phone was cracked in pieces and I was ready to buy new device. Remarkably my phone was as good as new with a new battery and screen display. Broke my iPhone 6 - screen was completely shattered, shards falling out - and came here a couple months ago. Friendly & quick service. Shawn took one look at it and said he could repair it - only took 10 minutes. While I sat there waiting, one of the employees sat down with two older women - early 80s - teaching them how to send emails, send photos, etc. I work with the elderly so it was really sweet to see. Price came with a 3 month warranty which was useful because I noticed a little blue light that wasn't there before. Beware this business. He seems really nice and friendly but behind all of his facade is a con-artist trying to make money off of you. He sells you cheap products and makes them out to be genuine. I had my iPhone glass repaired because the screen was spiderwebbed. Then I dropped the phone again from not even that high and it cracked because the quality is bad. I had him replace it another time and the screen had a gray bar going down the phone. I told him this and he just said oh that's Apple's problem I didn't do that and that I needed to go to the store. He said it was an Apple defect and that you couldn't fix it. He switched out the glass and gave me back my original spiderwebbed cracked phone. I told him I wanted the screen that I paid for but he had a bad attitude and ended up giving it to me. I went to the Apple store to see what they had to say and this "gray bar" being unfixable and they said it was not true and that they could fix it. I ended up paying $25 for "service charge" and $89 for screen repair. He tried to sell me his used phones for the price of a new phone but I could tell that it was a used phone because it did not have the plastic outside the box like all new phones do and I saw a person buying an iPhone SE from him and the owner tried to get the box back from the customer for the next phone he would be trying to sell. read more

SCUMBAG!!! Shaun misrepresented himself as the Micro repair & data retrieval shop a few doors down. He took my MacBook Pro & iPad, pretended we had spoken on the phone 10 minutes before and that he 'remembered' the issue we had spoken about. Shaun claimed to have Mac technicians on-site when in fact he sends computers out. When I realized who he was and that I had been scammed through word of mouth (this is a common experience apparently) I called Shaun to get my equipment back and he acted as if he had my iPad open in front of him and was in process of changing the battery though he hadn't called for my approval or to inform me (he also refused any kind of quote at drop-off). Guess I should have seen it coming.... I was there like a shot and neither item had been obviously touched. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! He didn't even offer a receipt for the technology I had left. (Update: 8/27/14. I received a nasty note from Shaun calling me deranged. Scroll for lots and lots of deranged yelpers giving one star reviews .... Oh wow... This guy Sean accused my boyfriend and I of being frauds and then had the galls to hang up on me, after we paid $120 to have the charging port fixed. After it broke within a month and bringing it back, he said its not the very same one he fixed. It's the same phone but I had replaced the port with a defective one. The minus is that if you need something fixed or update a phone plan, it will take a lot of time because the store is small and there are a lot of customers at certain times of the day. Another minus is that they will try to sell over-priced old iPhones (as for most used phone stores?). I'd think the new phones are priced reasonably though. I went to buy an Sprint plan (a company called Expo) to work with a Sprint iPhone 4S. My phone was dead but the staff guy took the time to fix the phone. I came to pick up the next day. I live in San Diego and T-Mobile has put an IMEI STOLEN block on my iPhone 7. I sent it up to Image Wireless and Sean and his team fixed it and had my phone back in my hands by noon (in San Diego) THE NEXT DAY.
