Tina has excellent credentials and many years of thermography expertise. The office is very welcoming. The thermography scan room is comfortable and adorable. I felt well cared for by Tina. My scans will be read by a physician and I'll receive important information about my health In a few days. The price of thermography is out of pocket, but for me it's well worth the investment. The other person waiting with me showed me her confirmation and she was told to arrive at 6:15. There is a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. It would have been nice to have been told this in advance although I'm not sure it would have mattered much. It would have been nicer not to have to pay this! I was taken right on time and there were no issues with my MRI thus the "ok" review.

And they tell you you'll be able to get your money back when the insurance company pays. However, they will not automatically refund your money. You have to remember to follow up, check with your own insurance to see if it's been paid, and then go through a difficult process to get the refund. This review was posted after the second time I went through this experience. The system and model is obviously designed to discourage refunds. It should automatically refund.

I went to UIMG myself for an ultrasound and can say the experience was excellent. The facility is beautiful, the staff very accommodating. They take no insurance, but will get you an ultrasound for $60-125 cash pay. Celia and Francisco are the schedulers and no one will do more to make sure you are taken care of. They do same day ultrasound most of the time, are open until 10pm Tuesday-Thursday. Dr. Stoskopf is the radiologist and the reports she does are of the highest quality to your medical provider. I strongly recommend them. You need to know this is an ultrasound school, so you may have a group of people attending your ultrasound for teaching purposes. If this is not a problem for you, please use them. We send patients to them almost daily and are extremely happy with the results. They are a wonderful, caring facility that have excellent results without the worry of being billed hundreds of dollars like many facilities we work with.

The ladies at the reception desk were very polite and professional. They had me fill out some paperwork for insurance purposes and were very informative and able to answer my questions on the spot. Cool waiting room to wait in as you waited to be called back to the imaging room. Mine was only a CT, or calcium test, to check the level of plaque buildup in my heart/arteries. The scan only took about 5 minutes and was not as serious as some of the scans they perform there. It looked like others were getting full MRI scans, etc. My results were very positive, as was my experience at their facility. I highly recommend this business for anyone needing medical scans in the East Valley area.

My appointment was rescheduled so many times I've lost count because their MRI machines kept breaking down at three different locations. During my five minute MRI scan in May the technician spoke very little English, making communication virtually impossible. She hit my head against the MRI machine while positioning me, and then the machine broke down with me still inside it. Nothing like an MRI machine breaking with you inside it!!! The worst part is that, four months later, I still have not had my MRI. Between the constant cancellations, equipment failures, lack of staff, this has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I've ever had. After months of delays, I just got another cancellation notice two hours before my MRI today. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! I would not recommend this facility to anyone who needs timely or reliable medical imaging. Unfortunately Simon Med is just as bad!

There's a billing complaint. I am writing about an ultrasound for my expanding prostate and shrinking, frequent, urine flow. Something to look forward to boys. Affilated Urologists scheduled me for a.pelvic ulyrasound here. I knew nothing of it until my email from SMIL. I will not write of my personal confusion. Likely age-related, correct? The appointment triggered my accepting a medical profile associsted with Honor Health/St. Joseph's. No problem, pre-existing condition. We showed up, checked in. I noted, as others have, PEOPLE GETTING IN FOR IMAGING WHO CAME AlIN AFTER ME! I understand. Lots of imaging types in this center. I got my pelvic ultrasound. Orderly, professional. I actually obeyed all the guidance for body positioning! WARM SCAN GEL! There are so many comedy routines getting laughs about refrigerated medical stuff placed on our bodies. After ???? ultrasound scans, this was my first time with heated gel! Bravo! My scan tech knew her technique, reminding me of my niece the scan tech. I felt the wand (?) I heard the beeps as the data stored. Lots of beeps, both sides. For some reason the right side beeps were louder. Oh, I am pretty deaf on the irft side.... All done. Another pro point - no sloppy gel for me to clean from my Adonis-like body. Not a slip, not a slide or glide. The prep towel caught it all! Worth a star, don't you think? As promised, result analysis posted to the portal within 24 hours. .

A front desk woman came to my chair in the waiting room to finish my check in which was very nice! It seemed that people who got there way after me were seen before me but it could be because of what they were being seen for, so it is what it is. I was seen 25 minutes after my arrival. I quickly changed and waited for my turn for the x ray. It was another 20 minutes total until I was seen for the x-ray... I was sweating because now I would be late for another 3pm appointment. The x ray itself went pretty fast and smoothly. All team members I encountered were very kind, I just got flustered with the extra wait times. Overall a clean place, I was able to ask questions and people found the answer for me, which I appreciate

The uninformed ~ front desk tried to tell me that my copay gets sent back to the insurance company when I advised her that Ihad over paid my previous copay by $70.00.
