I had specifically asked my doctor to request images to be done at IHS as I had dealt with them in the past. Every single person from the front office to the phone staff, Marlena in Medical Records to the medical people in the back are absolutely amazing and they really truly care about each person. Today I spoke with Anthony at the Front and I believe it was Angelica they could not have been kinder and were able to solve my issue immediately. Very professional and kind. Truly a horrible place. From communication to scheduling and performing the imaging, the encounters were awful. The staff clearly doesn't care or is overwhelmed and are uninterested in the quality of the service they are providing. Worse of all the report takes forever to arrive and apparently did not focus on what wea requested in the order. Weather this is due to the incompetence of the technician or the radiologist, I would not work with them again and strongly recommend others to stay away as well. They try to bring people in by advertising initial low prices but at the end the true cost is much higher. read more

I have been around the block many times with imaging healthcare specialists. I have genuinely never dealt with a less organized medical practice. I'm not sure what their system is or how it works, but it seems that no one communicates or puts any notes in a patient's profile after speaking with them. They are at times very difficult to get on the phone, but I also find myself getting a redundant amount of calls and texts asking me to confirm appointments I have confirmed three times in the last 24 hours prior. They then for whatever reason ask you to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to check in on an iPad that takes all of five minutes at most. Then nine times out of 10 you end up sitting there for an hour and a half before you are even seen. Unfortunately this is the primary imaging company my insurance works through. read more

I was charged $75 more than the listed price for a self schedule/pay procedure. The agent in billing, whom I spoke to said there was an added fee to "read" the procedure. The agent at Health Net told me it cost more because it was billed to my insurance. The self schedule/pay procedure is $175... $355 was billed to my insurance and my portion is $250. Again, the agent whom I spoke to said there could always be more fees added to the self schedule/pay procedures. I asked how much more. She was not sure how much more. She simply said that patients are advised at time of service that they are responsible for all fees. Be aware of this when scheduling your own procedures that they offer on their website for self schedule. The prices listed are not accurate. I paid at time of service and later received a bill for additional fees. As far as the care I have received from the staff at this facility - I have always been treated well. They claim to not receive insurance authorizations when they actually have received them. This happened twice within a couple of weeks. They cancelled my appointment then told the referring doctor I was a no show. When I complained to them they said it wasn't them who did this, as if they're not responsible for the way IHS operates. I've come here close to a dozen times for X-rays, CT scans and ultrasound and. always had good service at Imaging Healthcare except for one time when their internet was down. It completely shut down all services. Other than that one time they perform like a well oiled piece of machinery with kindness and compassion in the mix . I didn't know they were open on Sundays until I booked an upcoming CT scan on a Sunday. read more

I made an appointment about a week ago. You can't do it by telephone. You have to go to their online system, which I don't like. I arrive 20 minutes early for my appointment and went to check in. I was instructed to use one of the kiosk when I said I didn't know how the office clerk was very professional very nice. She exited her cubicle and came and helped me. Here's my question why did you make me do it on the machine when you cut it simply did it at your station They're trying to force us into using these kiosk behind me. Three older women walked in all in the same boat alternating help. Wood is here just to do them at your station or rather than one by one at these kiosk I'm not a fan of self check-in. It's great for some people, but you shouldn't force it on everyone. On the plus side, I arrived early it was taken back from my x-ray. WARNING!! If you have implants DO NOT get your mammogram from this place! After crying & begging the Tech, Krystal, to stop cranking the press on my breast- she did it anyway and ruptured my implant. I used to love this place BUT....After a year of run around excuses as to why they could not schedule a breast MRI, which I have had there before, from needing a prior ultrasound to my doctor changing orders now the new excuse is a denial of my procedure that my Dr and insurance approved because their NEW policy states I must have a mammogram first... the whole reason I have my Dr and insurance approved a MRI is to not have a mammogram! They could have saved me the run around at start but instead just kept changing the reason till this new excuse. read more

The staff here is very knowledgeable. My referring doctor made a slight mistake on my sonogram prescription. Anthony F. (an employee at Imaging Healthcare Specialists) called and fixed the problem right away, expediting my appointment. I've seen this happen before (a mistake on the prescription). Other places just pass the buck and wait for someone else to fix the problem, causing delays and frustration, but not Anthony. He took charge and handled everything swiftly, professionally and with a smile. I can see he takes pride in the thoughtful service he provides. I will come back here. Unbelievable. My doctor ordered a chest MRI and I waited months to get in for it. Me, doctors office and IHS went back and fourth for weeks to get the ducks in a row. I showed up today and they refused to do my MRI. No notice or anything. They tried to blame the doc saying she had to first order mammogram and ultrasound. Well I'm double mastectomy patient so clearly the doctor knows I don't need this in order for an MRI. Absolutely the worst medical experience I have ever had. Con's - *Parking Pro's - *Customer Service *Nice waiting lounge I had two visits here for different procedures, a CT scan, mammogram and ultra sound. The waiting room is spacious and has a flat screen. The receptionist was friendly. There is a small changing room that has lockers with a keys to place your personal items during your procedure. The technicians for the procedures were very good at explaining what was going to take place. They made me feel calm, and comfortable at all times. The CT Scan procedure was a first for me. I had previewed a video of the procedure as suggested on the order form given to me. So I was prepared, but having the technician go over the steps that was to take place reassured me nothing new was going to be done. Horrible front desk answering of phones every time I call I wait 30-45 min that's ridiculous. So I drive over there and there is one patient in the waiting room and the receptionists are just talking to each other! These receptionists need to answer the phones and do their jobs! If you have any other options, go elsewhere. My wife was referred here from an urgent care in Vista. When we arrived late afternoon we were told there were no openings for X-ray available. OK, that happens. My wife gave her info and her insurance information to two receptionist sitting about 10 feet apart. We were told to come in the morning to see if we could find a slot for the ultrasound. When we arrived around nine in the morning, we were told that you have to make appointments via the website! In fact, you cannot make an appointment by phone with this facility! On Our second or third visit, I was a gentleman with two broken knees. It was told that he had to make separate appointments for each knee! The people are very nice, but their policies are unbelievably user -UNfriendly. read more

I asked about X-rays Lady said we do walk in X-rays only I asked what time are you open until She said 9pm I left for work an hour early, to only show up to a facility that shut down xray by 5pm. She failed to tell me that X-ray closes as 5pm It's like they forgot that we were only talking about X-rays I showed up at 530pm to get exam done before work. I'm so beyond upset with the MULTIPLE negative experiences I've had here. First off before I had even gotten into my robe to have my mammogram the technician just looked at my age and made the comment "it's probably just cysts" 1st off she wasn't a doctor so she is legally not allowed to make that call, 2nd the reason I was sent in by my doctor is because I have an immediate family history of being diagnosed with breast cancer in their 30's and lumps were found by my doctor. So not the tech's call. Then the same tech admitted that she couldn't get a clear image on my left side & rather consult with the radiologist who is an actual doctor to find a solution she just let it slide. Thus causing a 6 month delay in my care and thus delaying my diagnosis. Now I've had multiple calls back and forth trying to reschedule another mammogram because the paperwork keeps getting screwed up (stems from the tech's screw up with my left breast). My doctor has contacted them multiple times to have it corrected and they keep saying they can't schedule it because it hasn't been corrected (my doctor had assured me she's contacted them and I never have these issues with any of my other referrals, only at imaging specialists) So due to their continual screws up, long delays in scheduling (took three months for me to get my first Appointment), I have not been able to get resolution for something I've been experiencing since November. read more

I had to do an MRI today. When you first walk in Margarita greets you with a huge smile. She gets you checked it quickly. When I was called in the back Hector was awesome!!! I called ahead and they told me to walk in for an X ray. When I arrived 5 minutes after that call they said the X ray techs were gone for the day. What a waste of time - even after calling in advance, they still told me the wrong information. I could have gone to another place to get the imaging done and returned already but instead wastes time driving to and from their location. Will not be using again. They even told me this happens often - that they tell the wrong information to patients, yet it keeps happening. Ridiculous read more

Horrible place, I was told that my husband had an appointment May 16th, I spoke with multiple people as this is an urgent matter. I called today to confirm and the woman couldn't find the notes, I had to listen to a supervisor give her a lesson before he spoke with me, and all I got was "I'm so sorry they didn't block the time for you, we can get you in in June". That doesn't work for us, they want to start radiation on May 23. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

This is my second time mammogram at this place. All staffs are friendly and well trained. The technician was very professional. She got my mammogram done in 8 minutes. I changed 1 minute. So it took me only 9 minutes walked in and out from the room. The waiting time in the lobby was 15 minutes due to Covid checked in process. But I am a happy patient and will definitely go back here every year for my mammogram. read more
