I've gone to see Jamie twice now and I've literally recommended her to everyone I think would love to learn more about skincare. Her approach is massage, gentle skincare, and an emphasis on hydration. My skin is looking better than ever! She knowledgeable, innovative, and you can tell she is truly passionate about her work. In our first session, she explained every step she was doing and why (because I asked, she is more than happy to just let you chill but I'm a bit of a chatter!) After about two weeks of using the products she had recommended I noticed a real difference in my skin. She tells you what to use and when, giving detailed instructions if there's confusion. She made sure I was comfortable from beginning to end, and took the time to explain things to me when I had questions. Not only was my treatment super relaxing, but it was also very educational as I was able to learn more about my skin's needs and how to address it. Received an appointment for a facial as a gift. Didn't know what to expect going in to it as I'd never had one before and didn't search anything beforehand. Definitely an experience, but all in all very relaxing despite the fact I am not very comfortable with human contact. There was a noticeable difference in my skin for a week or two afterwards and thats with me doing very little to actively keep my skin healthy. Jamie was great and made me feel quite at ease. She is good about catering the experience to your comfort level. For me, this meant she explained what she was doing, what the benefits were and how it worked each step of the way. Music and atmosphere was amazing. In fact, I have the playlist on Spotify and still listen in to it. The only issue I had was finding the place, but that was because I had received the appointment as a gift so the contact number was for a different phone. I had several bad facials in the past, Jamie's service was totally different from all of them. Probably like most people, I bought skincare products with good reviews, put on a mask or two every week, and I had no idea the real reasons behind my breakouts, uneven skin tone, and all the other small issues waiting to get stacked up to bigger issues. Jamie helped me with two things! First, a great facial. Like a doctor, she looked at my skin, asked me questions, and DIAGNOSED, and performed services that are tailored for my issues. BTW, Jamie's hands are like meaty cat paws, my face loves them. Second! Jamie did an in-home consultation for my skincare regimen...again, guilty like most people, I hoard beauty products and most of them are older than Dicaprio's girlfriend.
