Best Place to Donate Plasma - ADMA Myrtle Beach…read more I've been donating plasma for several years across different states, and ADMA in Myrtle Beach is hands down the best. The setup is efficient, the environment is clean, and the staff truly make the experience exceptional. As long as you have an appointment, there's no wait time--you're in and out without hassle. From the moment you walk in, Stephane greets you with a warm smile and friendly energy that sets the tone. Lori is a smooth operator; when she inserts the needle, you barely notice unless you're watching. She doesn't keep you waiting either; she gets you started quickly and wraps things up just as fast. And then there's Keirah. I'm convinced she has clones; she's everywhere! Greeting you at the front, taking your vitals, helping you get set up to donate, and jumping in wherever she's needed. When other staff need help, they call on Lori and Keirah, and it shows how much they're trusted. This place runs like a well-oiled machine with awesome people who care. If you're thinking about donating plasma, ADMA Myrtle Beach is the place to go. This place runs like a well-oiled machine with awesome people who care. Writing this review as a patient visitor. My dad recently had surgery here. GSMC is a big hospital…read morethat offers lots of heathcare services like an emergency room, a Cardio unit, and more! They also have a cafeteria. It is located off of Highway 17 and is easy to get to. As far as parking goes, they do have a big lot, and also a vallet if needed. I visited twice, and entered via the south entrance. Here they also checked us in, asked for Id, took our photo and was given a vistors pass. Both times i visited (one on 7/30/26 and another on 8/02/2026) The security person at check in was very nice. I was also with someone and knew where to go, but the security person also provides directions. Only quam is that it is chilly in hospitals, and highly recommend to bring a Jacket or something. Also, i'm surprised that there is no map of the hospital around- if i was by myself, and perhaps bad at directions, I feel that I would get lost in there! Anyways, found my dad's room in the cardio unit okay. Another thing is that there is only 2 chairs in the room, and if people want to stay long there should be another chair of some sort. At the visit of 7/30, someone needed to stand because we were 3 people. Oh, and met the surgeon and the nurse and everyone was nice. The nurse was also nice because it was time to remove some tubes that were in my dad, and she was explaining what she was doing and had a calming demeanor. Glad to see- although sort of wish I didn't have to see that because my dad said ow when the tube was out. Some people don't like seeing their family members in pain like that. Anyways. Oh and used the restroom on the south strand side, and it was a single stall! Clean but of course there was a line to the womens room for the single stall. Wasn't on the main entrance side, but hope the main entrance has more restroom stalls! This is my review as a visitor, and it was easy visiting this place.

Art was great, not to mention a good conversationalist. Although they were short staffed, both him and his female co-worker did what they had to with a cheery attitude and making our donations feel more than worth it. I recommend giving here when you can. It's a clean, warm atmosphere. Thank you all for doing this with such positivity each day!

Love it here! I've been living in the Mt Pleasant area for about a year, and I donate as frequently…read moreas I'm allowed, so I've been to this Red Cross location quite a few times. Each time has been pleasant and professional, regardless of how many people are there to donate. Today, I made an 11:15 appointment online the night before (and I was glad I did-- there were only two available appointment slots all day long!). I didn't do the Fast Pass question-and-answer preparation beforehand. I have in the past, but this time I didn't feel like getting out my laptop. This time, however, they told me it can now be done on an iPhone, which will be good to know for my next visit. I was the only one there when I arrived, and two phlebotomists were working. While Latoya was getting me prepped, though, three more donors came in. All were handled quickly and efficiently. I was in at 11:15 and out at 12:15. No pain, no problems, just a pleasant experience I'll be happy to repeat in 8 weeks. Thank you, American Red Cross!
