The security guard lady keeps driving in her suv harassing guests who trying to find a parking spot. She keeps telling everyone to keep circling the parking lot till a spot opens up. I sure hope the hospital finishes the parking garage soon. I'm sure all the employees are very frustrated with this situation.

Each time has been pleasant and professional, regardless of how many people are there to donate. Today, I made an 11:15 appointment online the night before (and I was glad I did-- there were only two available appointment slots all day long!). I didn't do the Fast Pass question-and-answer preparation beforehand. I have in the past, but this time I didn't feel like getting out my laptop. This time, however, they told me it can now be done on an iPhone, which will be good to know for my next visit. I was the only one there when I arrived, and two phlebotomists were working. While Latoya was getting me prepped, though, three more donors came in. All were handled quickly and efficiently. I was in at 11:15 and out at 12:15. No pain, no problems, just a pleasant experience I'll be happy to repeat in 8 weeks. Thank you, American Red Cross!

Sometimes it can be very busy; the staff is well organized in multi tasking and the group works in harmony together rotating roles to handle an array of situations to keep things moving smoothly. Today as I sat down to donate, 2 seats down a gentleman had a seizure, he had a prior condition. I observed staff members respond in an expedited and calm manner to stabilize the gentleman until First responders arrived. Quality and compassionate care.

I used to give plasma and one time there was an issue with a clog during the process... ever…read moresince... and a year later... I get turned down bc they claim my vein is too difficult to stick. It seems like they have me flagged now. I've tried to go elsewhere and I get evaluated and rejected and do there must be a note in the data base. Well it was fine for quite a number of visits so it's an unfair prejudice. I recommended 3 friends and a family member who still go.
