He helped me within 5 minutes. I decided to get some pizza since I was there. The soft spoken young lady took the order. She provided assistance the entirety of the time I was there. The pizza is fire. I had a hamburger and mushrooms pizza. I had Italian garlic sauce instead of the red sauce. That is so good. I also had a chef salad. This was my first time at this location. I called ahead and my order was ready right when promised. I've had Imo pizza once before and this was consistent. It was hot and fresh, crisp crust like I expected. I also tried the toasted ravioli and some Cinnamon bread. The bread was unique, not quite what I expected. Not sure I'd order that again. Food was good, but not as good as other IMO's. We had 3 salads and 2 pizzas. There were no salt and pepper shakers, only paper packets. Frustrating! Both pizzas were not cut through. I asked to have it cut again and it still was not cut through the crust. There was no Parmesan or pepper flakes for the pizza. They were out of cookies for the kids meal. To get to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen. Three of the six employees sat at an employee table conversing and attending to their phones. This IMOs should be an IMO Pronto or something. Definitely NOT a dine in establishments! I wish all IMO's were the same, so you knew what you're were getting. Washington, MO should be the model. So we have used this location before and our experience started out great the first few time we have been here. Unfortunately the last two time we order pizza from here the pizza was burnt two times to many. It will be very hard for me to go back to this location again. I have to admit. I don't get it. If this is St. Louis best pizza you either have no choices or have never had good pizza. This is my second attempt to like imos. Once several years ago in Springfield and then today we tried delivery. We are about 6 to 8 blocks from the place. The delivery took over an hour. Toppings were ok. Crust was Very soggy. Overall taste average to poor. If your reasoning is the crust would be soggy since it was delivery and took an hour perhaps you should not be in the delivery business. This. My wife and I were back in the Lou for a bit, and I wanted the St Louis original! If you like Imo's take on pizza, then this place will not disappoint. My wife is not really a fan, but she was happy enough. In case you are wondering, this is the STL traditional super-thin crust. First time ordering from here. Spent $40 and feel like I got "robbed". Brittany took my order and pretty much could have cared less. Horrible attitude over the phone. Large two topping pizza was okay. The Hot wings hardly had any buffalo sauced on them. They apparently poured hot sauce on the bottom of aluminum foil and placed fried chicken wings on top of it. I guess actually tossing the wings in sauce is too much work. Pretty lazy. I ordered the Chef's salad clearly telling her it was for two people and asked for additional dressing. Didn't get that either. Also, she knew I was ordering from the Courtyard Marriott and didn't include any paper plates, napkins, forks, etc. Overall, I wouldn't order from here again. Next time, I'll try Fortel's. It's the details that make a successful business. I love IMO's HARD. Like, I was SHOCKED when I moved away from St. Louis and there was only mozzarella as far as the eye could see. I spent 15 years requesting an IMO's black olive and sausage XL be road trip ready after every Easter/4th of July/Thanksgiving/Christmas. I'm THRILLED to be back in the land of thin crust proved. So it PAINS ME to have anything negative to say. But. We had a coupon for an XL two topping pizza that came with chicken wings, and we were ecstatic. We have a picky eater in the family who recently decided she doesn't like pizza, and she's vetoed pizza over and over again. But the kryptonite of picky eaters is chicken fingers! And the website even let me get boneless so I really thought I had won this battle. That's why it's so disappointing that the Sweet 'N Tangy sauce (which apparently I will never be forgiven for) was Hot. Like, really hot. Wasabi hot. Lick your fingers burst into tears wash your mouth out glare at an innocent Erica with disgust for trying to poison your precious daughter with flaming hot sick Sweet 'N Tangy sauce HOT. Unfortunately, Imo's Pizza tends to greatly vary depending upon the franchisee. Imo's Creve Coeur East's employee was rude and unwilling to help by phone regarding ordering issues with their new website. A website I spent a ridiculous amount of time on trying to place an order and eventually called. The employee claimed to know nothing about the website, would not honor the on-line deal and $5 off for filing in all of one's information once again on their new website, said the manager was a lunch and could not help me after his/her lunch. As you may know, the quality of Imo's pizza can drastically vary from location to location. This is one of the good ones. I work right across the street and have been visiting this place on a weekly basis for years. The staff and owner knows me and always greets me with a smile and a "the usual today?" Very friendly place and top notch people. As mentioned in other reviews, this is a super thin crust, st louis style pizza. As such, you will either love it or hate it. You will either be a Jimmy Kimmel or a John Hamm. (Look it up on youtube. Priceless.) For me, I love it and usually get some garlic cheese bread as well. read more

Been here twice and it's hit or miss it seems. First time we got a large pizza and some provel bites. They were both great: hot and fresh from the oven, crust was perfect. Second time, we got another large pizza but decided to try the chicken wings instead. What a disappointment. The crust was done wrong somehow: it was so hard it could probably crack a tooth, and stuck to the box like it had been glued down. Even worse were the wings: they were severely overcooked, and they gave us the wrong sauce (and it top it off, whoever packed it hadn't even put the lid on correctly so it spilled all over the take out box). We had a friend gathering at our home last night & I really didn't want to cook. We hadn't had Imo's in years, but I knew they'd have a variety of things to order, and that everyone loves Imo's. I ordered online: 3 XL pizzas, a half pan of salad, & cheese garlic bread. The website was easy to navigate & order from. After I had ordered, I realized that I needed to order another pizza. I called the store directly, and the employee couldn't have been nicer about adding to my order. The Food arrive promptly at 7 PM, as I requested. The delivery driver was super nice and professional. Food was amazing! Of course I over ordered, so that we could have leftovers today! I'm so glad we did. The pizzas were hot and had plenty of toppings. They included forks napkins, crackers, & plenty of dressing. The food was also very reasonably priced, as I actually saved money (in addition to time!) by not doing all of the cooking myself! The whole experience made me wonder why we hadn't ordered from here in awhile!!! We will be ordering again soon. read more

The large cheese pizza could have been a Red Barron from the grocery store and we wouldn't have known any better. I know Imo's is a St. Louis institution and it's not bad pizza when it's hot, but the problem is that price per quantity just doesn't add up for me. I got a carry-out lunch special yesterday $9.35 plus tax - an 8" pepperoni pizza, garlic cheese bread and a 32 oz coke. I'm carrying it out of the store and I can just tell by the weight that this is not a lot of food. I even paid more for extra cheese. That's just not gonna fill me up for lunch. Based on my history with Imo's I knew this in advance and also ordered some mozzarella sticks. So, we're up to a grand total of $16.56 with tax. That's just too much for that amount of food. Other problems: They initially forgot to give me my mozzarella sticks despite me paying for them. After I'm carrying out my order I realize, this is just way too light, I open up the bag and saw they weren't there. They apologized and were nice about it, but if I would've gotten back to work and seen them missing I would not have been happy. Also, when I first paid they tried to give me a 16 oz cup instead of a 32 oz cup. Honest mistake, but still a little annoying. Annnnndddd.. Guys - Way too much packaging and styrofoam here. It's 2016. Didn't McDonalds stop using styrofoam in the 90s??? Lagging behind McDonalds on social and environmental issues is not really a stellar business move in my opinion. read more

But after 4p the shift changes and the new manager is stingy - the meat is few n far between & normally buried under a mound of cheese. On this cool and rainy day, a few of us here in the office decided to have IMO's delivered. Where the ease of the online process went smoothly and the delivery was pretty quick, what lacked was the simple requests that we made one food item and a comment that wasn't adhered to. First, on the salad lunch special we asked for egg to be added to the dish and Second, since our business does catering for their staff on critical month ends, I had asked for both a delivery and catering menu be provided with my order. NONE of these things were given. I don't think we were asking for much. As far as food quality, pretty good and I would recommend. Just not sure if our group will order from them online....may have to try to the old fashioned way and call for special request. Wish us luck! read more
