IMOs
Melissa J.

Had to celebrate 314day with St. Louis' own IMOs pizza. The square beyond compare. There's nothing like that delicious provel cheese, crispy bacon, fresh green pepper, onion and sausage. Add a nice side salad and you have the perfect meal. There's no better way to serve up a quick delicious dinner.

I like this Imo's location! Never had a bad order, and the toasted ravioli is awesome. Employees are friendly and laid back. Only complaint is that it can get hot inside in the summer if you're eating in, but they are baking pizzas all day.

A slice of pizza from an order that claimed to have 'extra sauce'. All I see is cheese and dough.

I've tried many times to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I am someone who likes extra sauce on my pizza. I have ordered extra sauce every which way, and this place just does not seem to get it. I always, without fail, get extra cheese and absolutely no sauce when I order a pizza with extra sauce. I'm done giving this poor excuse of a pizza shop business. You can't learn how to keep customers happy and satisfied.

So we were recommended to come here for the best toasted ravioli and it was fantastic! We also ordered the deluxe pizza, our first experience with St. Louis pizza - it was delicious! It was think, crispy & cut into squares! Love the cheese!! The cheese bread was tasty but a bit soggy. That is the only negative; service was great. Casual eatery; we will definitely return!

We ordered a large deluxe for carry out last night. It was cooked to perfection and looked just like the one on their ads. Imo's quality ingredients combined with the generous quantity of toppings are why this remains our all time favorite.

SMALL. Very little dine in space

Food was good, but not as good as other IMO's. We had 3 salads and 2 pizzas. There were no salt and pepper shakers, only paper packets. Frustrating! Both pizzas were not cut through. I asked to have it cut again and it still was not cut through the crust. There was no Parmesan or pepper flakes for the pizza. They were out of cookies for the kids meal. To get to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen. Three of the six employees sat at an employee table conversing and attending to their phones. This IMOs should be an IMO Pronto or something. Definitely NOT a dine in establishments! I wish all IMO's were the same, so you knew what you're were getting. Washington, MO should be the model. Its better than Kirkwood too. Kirkwood gets the cleanest award though.

a half eaten pizza in a box

So we have used this location before and our experience started out great the first few time we have been here. Unfortunately the last two time we order pizza from here the pizza was burnt two times to many. It will be very hard for me to go back to this location again. As much as Imos Pizza cost it should be nothing but perfection each time. I guess I should have said something but after a long day of work I did not want to wait around for another one to be remade. I am very disappointed in this product, there is no reason why it should have came out this way and the employee who made it should have known not to send this out. The middle was not all that great either with the burnt hard cheese. This was a waste of my hard earned money because half of this pizza will not get eaten due to the burnt taste. ‍. I don't know if the oven needs to be calibrated right what but this is truly unacceptable.

Worst pizza ever tonight. Delivery person didn't follow the direction and the pizza as usual was awful.

There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.

Even though we were 25 minutes early, our table was ready and we were immediately seated. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and also minutes after we were seated by our server. Our server was friendly and efficient. Drinks were delivered and refilled, as necessary. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. The decor is simple and tasteful. We waited a reasonable amount of time for our food, which was delivered hot and tasty. The only dish that wasn't 100% was my Chicken Spedini. I have had it there once before and it was amazing. This time, the lemon sauce was thick and sweet. Last time it was lemony and buttery. Otherwise, the Veal Parm was perfect, as were all of the other dishes. This is a nice restaurant with great service and quality cooked and tasting food.

The menu is straightforward with something for everyone, with a decent variety of salads, pastas, entrees, and Neapolitan style pizzas. I always appreciate a one-page menu, knowing that what they do, they do very well. They also had specials which sounded great. Prices are not bad at all for a nice sit-down lunch in 2026. The decor is simple, but still warm and inviting, with a view into the kitchen area. I ordered the Campagnelle Alfredo (with no mushrooms). It was excellent! Friends ordered the risotto special and the pizza and both were very happy also. The staff members were attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. The host even asked us the name of our friend who was running late so that he could seat her when she arrived. These little things really are nice and added to our experience of feeling welcomed. I can't wait to come back for a glass of wine!

So basically if you have a 9-5 job, you will never, ever be able to discover the wonderful things they offer here, which is a shame, and odd. Midwest Pasta provides fresh pasta and flour to local restaurants. So they make their products in batches -- but anyone can walk in and purchase. I stopped in to buy some fresh pasta, and was advised on what might pair best for my meal plan; and because I was traveling got an ice pack to help the pasta stay cooled. There is also a very small display of imported olives, olive oil, pesto, etc. However, the options are limited and display is limited to just a couple shelves. This is not a huge grocery, but it will accommodate small foodies out exploring the Cherokee Street Benton Park neighborhood. Double check store hours. They DO close early.
