As I understand it, each location is independently owned and operated. This one is fine. Got takeout, deluxe 14' pizza, provolone cheese bites, and a whole deluxe salad for $47 including tip. This Eureka Imo's continues to disappoint! It's been about 5 months since I placed a takeout order as the last time I asked for an underbaked pizza, meaning they would pull out the pizza early so I could reheat it at home. When I got there, I asked to look at my pizza and it was not pulled out early. After some discussion, the counter person refunded the amount of my order. So, I thought I'd try them again today. I repeated my order preference twice and Scott said he understood. Unfortunately, I didn't check my pizza before I left, when I got home I recognized the same overbaked pizza, they did have a note to pull the pizza out early. It was like eating a tough cracker. The underside of the pizza was dark brown. In addition, my small house salad had very little lettuce and someone had literally "dumped" a large amount of cheese. The ratio of cheese to lettuce was unbelievable. I just did not feel like going back to voice my complaint. Doesn't anyone supervise the employees or do they just not care? The on-line message said they are taking deliveries for another 10 minutes so I call them to be told it's only pick up. Gentlemen said he understands but it's only pick up. I often get takeout from the Imo's in Eureka, but this review will be for all the Imo's pizza I've eaten from all their St. Louis (and Columbia!) locations. I LOVE Imo's. When I move from St. Louis I'm going to miss it so much. Some people, especially outside St. Louis, hate it with a passion. Why is that exactly? Is it the delicious, crispy crust or the perfect little squares? Is it the generous amount of toppings all covered in perfectly-melted provel? Is it the WHOLE slices of thin bacon they layer over the veggies, or is it the edge pieces that are the best pieces of the whole pie? They must be CRAZY, because I just can't understand it. The Eureka Imo's (I'm not sure about the others) does a buy-one-get-one offer on Tuesday nights. This is an awesome deal. I almost never order anything else, but their toasted raviolis are good too. They also bottle their awesome sauce, which you can buy at Schnuck's and Dierbergs. Inside the Imo's is laid back, but I appreciate their tight dining rooms and red and green tables and the minimalism that says "Our pizza rocks, get over it." read more

I'm a big pizza lover. I think about pizza just about all the time. :) So when I was driving across Missouri, I kept seeing billboards for Imo's pizza. We were planning on stopping for the night near St. Louis so that we could go to Six Flags. Upon checking our phones to make sure we could find an Imo's in St. Louis (I didn't know they were a chain,) we knew we had to eat there. After we checked in, we found a flyer in the lobby that said they delivered. We got a large deluxe and some toasted ravioli. OMG they were so good! Even after being delivered, we had a super thin, crispy like a cracker crust with just the right amount of toppings. Cut in squares! I'd never seen that but it makes eating it so much easier. After our day at Six Flags, we decided to drive to Imo's and eat in the restaurant. We had another large deluxe and we shared a baked lasagna. Oh, how I wish I could get this in SC! There were 4 young men working that evening. When they weren't assisting a customer or cooking, they were BUSY. Cleaning everything in sight, sweeping, organizing...but not once did we see them lean on the counter or chit chat with themselves. Nor did they eat or drink during their down time. I was so pleased with their work ethic that when I got back to our room, I wrote to the franchise owner and gave a good bit of praise to those four young men. I was sad to leave St. Louis and this darn good pizza chain. read more

Well the pizza gets 5 stars but the customer service gets maybe 2. First of all I waited about 6 minutes on hold just to place my order and the girl had an attitude the whole time. Been a regular at this imo's for 2.5 yrs (1 to 2 times a week), Pizza used to be great, but not now. Within the last 6 months they have changed ownership and looks like they fired all existing staff or they quit. Pizzas are now way undercooked and extremely greasy (I always order the same thing) Pizzas are barely cut through so you have to tear your pizza apart. 1. When I ordered I bought beer, and I overheard the manager tell the cashier he's not serving me. Then when I showed him my ID he rudely said why are you from Washington. 2. When the waitress brought out the pizza it was burned and the crust was pre made frozen. The sauce was tomoto sauce out the can. 3. The service was terrible the girl brought out the pizza I asked her for pepper and she turned around and completely ignored me. They brought no plates to the table or the pizza serving knife. 4. We checked out this St. Louis Staple while staying at the KOA on Route 66. We were unsure if the restaurant had seating, some locations don't, so we placed our order to go. There was some kind of a special that day with pizza, ravioli, and some proprietary cheese balls. WOW! We were impressed. Our little camping crew ate it up! The manager's name was Sandy and she was a complete B**** when I told her my pizza was over done and that I wanted to exchange it for one that was not BURNT.... I know some people like well done pizza but I like my cheese to be creamy not crispy. When I told her over the phone about my pizza she basically told me that's how they come out of the oven. I have worked at pizza joints before and know that you can turn your oven down and when a customer is not happy you fix the problem. SANDY didn't offer me a pizza or even a credit for next time. I'm not impressed with St. Louis style pizza. Is it really supposed to be a such a thin nothing crust? The pizza was edible since we hadn't eaten almost all day but it was bad and very expensive considering how little was there. The kids ordered fries and those were bad too. Our family likes to get the special with x-large pizza, salad (house dressing, of course) and cheese garlic bread. If you love St. Louis and provel cheese, you will love Imos's. read more

Honestly, for me to give someone one star -- it takes a LOT of bad. I've visited this Imo's numerous times over the past 6 months, and it's only gotten worse. The food is not consistent. Forget about ordering take-out (I live 5 minutes from them; it took an hour and a half to get the food after they "estimated" a 45 minute wait). If you complain, they literally ignore you. Literally. Management does not care. "OK, thanks" is the response I got from a complaint I filed. On top of everything else, the food is positively mediocre and the prices are far too high. We ordered a pizza and garlic bread after driving all day and finally arriving at our hotel. This was so bad my four-year-old chose to eat cold, leftover biscuits from lunch. Yum! We were traveling and stopped at Walmart next door for an oil change. We were just passing time so decided to eat brunch at IMO's. They opened at 10am, so walking in at 10:30am wasn't a problem. They offer not only pizza but other Italian dishes like lasagna, as well. My group of 7 all chose the lunch combo(pick of pizza, salad or sandwich) to combine with garlic bread or garlic cheese bread and a drink. You HAVE to try the garlic CHEESE bread. Back home, it's called cheese sticks but IMO's gives you close to a 12" hoagie buttered and toasted perfectly with loads of melted cheese. It was gone before I thought to take a pic of it. The pizza was all thin crust and cut into squares, perfect for devouring. I had the 8" and it was plenty with the cheese bread and drink. The teens picked the 10" and had to get a to-go box. Hard to believe the place didn't have more stars. Don't let that stop you from trying it. You won't be disappointed. read more

We are new to the Eureka area and have made a couple purchases from the Imo's in Eureka. I'm disappointed to find the deluxe pizza in Eureka skimps on toppings compared to other Imo's locations that I have visited. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first two times but the third time confirms their consistency. A $22.00 large deluxe pizza should not have bare spots without toppings and cheese. Plus some of the staff conveys the feeling that you are putting them out by calling in an order. I will drive past this location for my next Imo's visit. read more

Best pizza on earth except when you have a franchise location like the one in eureka where they skimp on toppings, not just on pizza but sandwiches as well. When you spend $20 on a carryout pizza or $7.50 for a sandwich one would expect appropriate amount of toppings. This specific Imos is dirty inside and has terrible customer service. Twice now I have waited 1 1/2 hrs for a pizza to be delivered and each time upon calling to find out where the pizza is the person on the phone could care less and just says they are busy and that's it.
