Take out Stuffed Deep Dish Cheese Pizza - medium. 6 slices. Stuffed w just 2. Excellent.

My knowledge on Chicago pizza is limited, though I've had Giordano's and Lou Malnati's, one time each, in Chicago about a few years ago, and they were great experiences. I'm in St Louis so, about 4 hours away. Thanks to the Pizza Connoisseurs of St Louis Facebook group, I came across this place. Everyone gave rave reviews. Ordered online using their App was a pretty easy and straightforward. Ordered a Medium Uncle Tony's. It was so delicious. That sauce was amazing, fresh, tart, thick, and spicy. The crust and all of the cheese were satisfying. Sausage and Bell Peppers were a great. Came with about 6 slices. I was stuffed with 2. Tried their buffalo wings as well; they were great! It's a take out place which was fine by me since it does take a while to make the actual pizza. Service was friendly.

    Large Original Stuffed Pep/Saus

We are always pleased with the service and food here .. but tonight's pizza was thru the roof awesome!!!!!!! And it showed up 10 mins earlier than estimated and was piping hot! Cheese pull and all!!!!

This pizza was just okay. Definitely not worth the $52 we paid for this and a medium ham and pineapple.

Just an okay pizza. Definitely not with the price! The pizza was greasy, the toppings didn't stay on the pizza. Flavor just meh.

Pizza crust is buttery and delicious. Sauce is flavorful and there were a lot of toppings.

Chicago deep dish. Sausage and peppers.

We had not eaten at Erio's in many years since moving away. This is the Erio's location where we last ate. Apparently, it has been sold since we were last there. I'm not saying the food was bad, but it certainly was not what I remembered. For instance, the house Italian dressing used to be a thick creamy slightly sweet dressing. It was delicious and came recommended. Now it's a sour vinegar and oil dressing with heavy herbs. We were looking forward to getting a pizza but were disappointed. The crust was tough and the toppings were sparse. I didn't care for it. They were busy, so I do overlook some things, but I should have been offered water, and I was not. I guess I could have requested it. I did enjoy the warm bread and butter. If I try this place again, I will not order pizza. If pizza is what I'm hungry for, I think I will go to Massa's or Rizzo's and save myself the disappointment. I guess it's all in what each of us likes. Your experience might be different.

When my ordered was delivered, instead of an entree, I received an appetizer. I contacted, Erio's and DoorDash. Hands down, Erio's takes pride, not only in their food, but making sure that customers are satisfied with their order and secured in the knowledge that, they'll go above and beyond to make sure your experience and expectations is ! DoorDash also deserves praise as well! Again, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up is definitely deserved! One last note, always remember..if you're not happy with your order or you received a wrong order, contact DoorDash and more importantly, the restaurant. Parking is easy within a block or two. Outdoor, booth, and table seating is available. My husband had the gluten free pasta because it is also vegan, and no lie and true to form, it was delightful and light! The tomato sauce is Perfection: not too acidic, not too sweet, letting the grand yet humble tomato shine. I chose the puttanesca, one of my favorite traditional Italian pastas. I would order this again!! Had plenty for lunch the next day. Not to be left out: the toasted ravs and cannoli. I've had a few T-ravs since moving to StL, and these are excellent. The tomato sauce for dipping, once again, is a real treat. The cannolis? Precious, flaky, and dreamy. I ate one at our table and took the second bad boy home. FIRE.

While traveling through Missouri, my wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner. I searched…read moreYelp and came across Anthonino's. I also remembered seeing it featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we figured it had to be worth a try. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but noticed a few open seats at the bar and asked if we could sit there instead. The two bartenders welcomed us right away and told us they would take good care of us throughout the evening. My wife ordered an iced tea, and I started with an Old Fashioned. For an appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli ($14), which is handmade in-house and filled with ground beef, ricotta, and pecorino romano cheese, served with marinara sauce. It's one of the dishes featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. For dinner, my wife ordered the Chicken Marsala ($23), and I went with the Bolognese ($17), made with veal, pork, red wine gravy, cresta di gallo pasta, stracciatella, and Calabrian chili oil. The toasted ravioli arrived looking great. I tried one without the sauce first. The fresh pasta didn't fry up quite the way I expected. It was more flaky than crispy, and I was hoping for a little more crunch. The filling was decent but could have used a bit more seasoning and flavor. The marinara sauce also had a bitterness to it that wasn't my favorite. When our entrées arrived, both dishes looked and smelled wonderful. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. My wife's Chicken Marsala had good flavor overall, but the side pasta was very gummy, and the sauce again had a bitter note that seemed to overpower the dish. My Bolognese was the biggest disappointment of the evening. When I think of Bolognese or a rich meat ragù, I usually expect a wider pasta such as pappardelle. The cresta di gallo pasta wasn't my favorite choice for the dish, and it also had a gummy texture. The sauce itself suffered from the same bitterness that we noticed throughout the meal. Looking back, I probably should have ordered the Carbonara once I realized the Bolognese wasn't being served with the type of pasta I was hoping for. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn't quite meet the expectations we had after seeing the restaurant featured on television and reading the reviews. The service was excellent, and the bartenders did a fantastic job taking care of us. While this visit was a bit disappointing, there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that looked great, and I would be willing to give Anthonino's another try and order something different.

There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.
