Delicious pizza with extra veg. Toppings were NOT scarce. Heavy slices. The cheese sauce ratio was very good. The crust was still crunchy on the ends. The pizza was partially burnt and disgusting, the toasted raviolis were burnt, and the potato skins are absolutely horrible as they were dried out, and there was no bacon on the potato skins and just melted cheese. I don't know what's going on with this location. It has gone downhill. They used to have a fairly decent dine-in lunch combo. The pizza is quite frankly terrible. I should've taken a photo. Visiting the in laws this weekend and we opted for a couple of pies at Stef's for lunch. We called ahead and they had them ready for us when we arrived. We decided on two large pizzas. A Stef's special and a half sausage half pepperoni single topping pizza. Bothe were very good. The Stef's Special was full of toppings and the bacon was very good. The single topping pizza had the right amount of meat and showcased the provell cheese much better. Creamy and delicious. The thin crust held up well to both styles with the right amount of crisp. My son also decided to get a salad. It was great, but fair warning, it has a lot of cheese on it, so not the healthy option you might be thinking you are ordering. A small was enough to share. Because we were in StLouis, we also had to get the toasted ravioli. The marinara sauce was fantastic! Worth a stop if in the neighborhood. Staff was friendly and attentive! read more

Called to make an order and got put on hold for 15 minutes so I drove to the restaurant on hold the entire time. Offering no reason for leaving me on hold even though I see multiple adult employees right at this moment very capable of picking up a phone, the cashier tries to give me $77 change for my $50 bill. Lasagna: buy stouffers' frozen lasagna. Place in microwave for recommended amount of time. Serve in container. ***middle of lasagna must not be hot *** Caesar salad: buy a bag of cut iceberg lettuce. (Must be iceberg, not romaine) Place a full cup of lettuce into your container. Top completely with shredded provel (NOT PARMESAN, THAT WILL RUIN YOUR DISH), add a wedge of tomato. Complete your dish with a side of a FRESH bottle of Caesar dressing. Do NOT, and I cannot stress this enough, do NOT even so much as include a single crouton. That is one of three things that makes up a Caesar salad but must NOT be included here. Breaded cauliflower bites: buy frozen breaded cauliflower bites. Place in oven for recommended time. Serve. Went there for lunch. No one took my order. Sat for 15 minutes and waited patiently. No one came. There were at least 13 people being waited on. The only person of color in the building was myself being overlooked. I finally got up went to the counter put in my order for my food a sausage and bacon lunch pizza and a drink. No one came and asked if I needed a refill on my drink. They brought my food out and it was pepperoni and bacon pizza I mentioned it to the waitress she said I can have it remade and I saw I had 20 minutes to eat and get back to work so I said leave it. I ate quickly and tried to get a drink refill again no one saw me. 3 waitresses no one saw me. When I stood up to leave then someone acknowledged me and asked if I wanted a to go cup. Color me disappointed. We are staying in a nearby hotel for a couple of weeks while waiting for our house to close. We're trying as many local places as we can. To be fair, I'm a St. Louis native, so I was raised on great Italian food and have high expectations. I should have been suspicious when the fettuccine is described in "white cream sauce" instead of "Alfredo sauce". The flavorless sauce is on me, because there is no hint of cheese in it. Or butter. Or seasoning. However, the overcooked pasta is inexcusable. It is so overcooked that when I would try to wrap some around my fork, it would break. No bueno. Side salad was yellow lettuce and lots of provel, but the creamy Italian dressing was good. It was my favorite part of the meal. My husband got lasagna. He said it tasted frozen, and wasn't completely warm in the center. Sigh. We also got the breaded cauliflower appetizer. Again, not made in house, but frozen and fried. They may do a much better job of pizza and sammies, but I'll be getting pasta elsewhere. On the plus side, they are super friendly and quick. Prices are very reasonable. read more

I'm a huge fan of St. Louis style thin crust with provel cheese and Stefanina's gets it right. This location is just large enough to cover carryout and seat-in dining. I started with a Ceasar Salad, small, which was large enough for me to take 1/2 home for the next day. Their small pizza is a 12", so needless to say it's a great value for the money. A single person can definitely get 2 or 3 meals off this 1 pizza depending on how hungry you are. The toppings are very good and the crust is the right thinness. Only 1 thing, there was a little too much flower on the underside of the crust which took away from the flavor only slightly. Yes a great sign of fresh crust, so I just wiped off the excess. Great pizza! Sorry provel haters, you will not like this pizza. I usually order a lunch special which includes a 9" pizza with one topping, a side salad and a 32oz drink. They offer other lunch specials as well, but I always get pizza. I almost always order hamburger and light green olive on my pizza. Yum! If you get the regular amount of olives they kind of take over, so you have been warned. Sometimes I get pepperoni and mushroom which is very good as well. I really like their toasted ravioli with the meat sauce. Good meat sauce is hard to come by. The wings are pretty solid too. They don't use the standard Frank's Red Hot Sauce so you get a nice flavor instead of just Frank's. Cheese garlic bread never has options, except for here at Stefanina's. You can get Canadian bacon, onion, pepperoni or tomatoes. I've not tried it because I really like the plain cheese, but I'm not scared. I'm sure each option is more delicious than the next, but alas I'm a creature of habit. The salads are good too. The Stef's House Salad is a marinated salad in the house dressing with lettuce, onion, pimentos, green olives, tomatoes and croutons. The dinner salad is good, nothing special, but always hits the spot. I hardly ever order pasta here and it's good, but I love the pizza! The pasta con broccoli is good and so is the cannelloni. I've not had any of the others. I wish there was dine in service here because I don't always want to take it home or drive to one of the other locations in the area. read more

It's the first really chilly evening of Fall, the first game of the World Series is tonight, and my husband has a class tonight so I'm on my own for dinner. What a perfect evening for some St. Louis style pasta! Before I left work, I jumped on-line and ordered in just a few minutes. It's not a fancy web site, but it's fast and easy. Of course, I ordered my favorite dish - cannelloni with red sauce. When I arrived 20 minutes later, it was hot and ready and packed up very securely - stapled into a paper sack, not in a flimsy plastic bag. The girls at the counter were fast and friendly - I was in and out in less than five minutes. The cannelloni came with a generous salad topped with mozzarella, and I chose Parmesan pepper dressing. It was crisp and fresh, and the dressing was thick and tasty. A nice chunk of Italian bread with butter accompanied the salad. I love St. Louis style cannelloni, and this did not disappoint. It was a good-sized portion and stuffed with a combo of veal, beef and pork. There was a lot of red sauce and cheese, and it really hit the spot on this cold, chilly day.
