I work in O'Fallon and because of the service we received on Wednesday, April 2nd, we will no longer be giving them our business. At 11:10 one of our employees ordered a delivery, she was told because of the weather and other deliveries the order probably wouldn't be there until 11:45/12, she was okay with that and placed the order. At 11:20 another employee and I placed a delivery order. We have 2 buildings and did not know anyone else had placed an order. The person that took our order made it sound like an inconvenience to deliver two orders to us, then told us that there was a delivery between our 2 orders and ours would be there around 12:15. We were also okay with that and placed the order. At 12:05 the driver showed up and tried giving both orders to us. We told him that the one that called first was next door. He kind of chuckled, shook his head, said "okay" and took the food back (I guess he wanted us to take it over there). I called next door to let the other employee know that her food was on the way so she could meet him at the door. Instead they watched him drive away, probably to deliver the order that was in between our two orders. Even though the parking lots are connected, and he was ready to give them all at once, he drove off. We opened our food that we got first and it was not even a little warm. The pizza was horribly dried up like it had been sitting in the warmer for far too long. We called next door to warn her. We did not have time to call and get new pizzas, we had to deal with it and take our breaks, we had already postponed them for too long. The driver came back around 12:20 and delivered the first order. She ordered hers first and should have received hers first. Again, she was okay until she got her food. She opened the pizza while he was there and hers was dried out and cold as well. She asked him how long he had been driving with her food and his reply was "Honestly, I couldn't tell you." She said well it's cold, he laughed and said "I can bring you a new pizza". She agreed and all was okay until he told her that he would have to take her salad and soda back too. She asked him why, her food was already later than what she had been told, she ordered hers first but got it after we had, and it was cold. Why take it all back? She could have started eating while he was bringing her a new one. Would he make a new salad and pour a new soda too or give her back the same stuff he had already been driving with for a half hour? Now she was upset, she told him to just cancel the order. I worked at the Fairview Heights Imos years ago and we NEVER had to take back an entire order. Only what was wrong. There was also a rule, if the orders are backed up DO NOT cook mini pizzas and leave them in the warmer. They dry out very fast because of their size. I guess your store doesn't care about quality. The driver took it all back and she called to speak with a manager. She was told the manager was out on deliveries, they took her number and said someone would call back. Guess what never happened? Two more employees saw us eating Imos and we told them to definitely not order delivery so they went there to eat. Then they had the pleasure of sitting in the dining area while eating and listening to the driver and another employee BAD MOUTH US and one said "Fine, no more deliveries for them" Why exactly are we to blame? We received bad service and horrible food and you have the right to talk bad about us? You bad mouthed a business within ear shot of other customers? That is BEYOND unprofessional. The two employees that were there are very high up in this company and they are also sharing their experience with others so that they no longer go there. Word of mouth can be very dangerous for a business. I will be sharing the review on as many websites as I can. Have a nice day. read more
