Ordered delivery on 9/18 that included a soda. Received the order minus the soda. Not a big deal, or atleast I thought. I called in to let them know they forgot the soda and I would like the soda that I paid for. Instead of just sending out a new soda multiple people told me " my driver said he gave it to you". Well, I wouldn't have called if I received the soda. After speaking to a manager I was rudely told " I guess we will send another one. Then hung up on me. Ordered the house 1/2 salad on 3/24/24 via online with grilled chicken. Total was $7.65. Brought it home and there was all kinds of processed ham on the top. Looked at my receipt and it clearly said grilled chicken. So now I have to check what's inside while at the drive in window to make sure they fulfilled my order correctly? Okay, I can live with ham because I'm not going to drive back. Got further into the salad and there was a huge hunk of salad core that was probably 2" x 2" in it. Delivery driver that was working 11/11 around 5:30/6pm is a little boy. Not sure how he got his license as you have to be atleast 16 years old. Now this driver looked atleast 40 but based on his driving skills and obnoxious behavior I have to assume he is not only unlicensed but also a child. Imos is great. They have a salad bar and I love their creamy Italian dressing. I had their spaghetti and meatballs. The spaghetti was a good sized portion and lots of sauce. Meatballs were harder than most restaurants and just not quite as good. It was accompanied by buttered bread. Good sized portions and flavorful. Good service. read more

We ordered a pizza for delivery and it took a hour to receive the order, the pizza was cold and had spotty toppings and tasted awful we also ordered a salad and received a box of lettuce and what looked like two hands full of cheese on top of it. I've always ordered and picked up at the drive thru but decided to go in and sit down for a change. Staff were very friendly and ready to take my order. I ordered the lasagna. When I did the kind lady taking my order asked if I knew this would take 20 minutes. I assured her that I was aware. 20 minutes turned into 30, then 45, then after one hour I walked up to the counter to inquire about my order and reminded her I had been waiting an hour for a 20 minute dish. She was very kind and apologetic. She checked in the order and said it was half way through cooking. So now I'm wondering if they forgot to put it in since I actually got it about 15-20 minutes after inquiring. As always it was worth the wait and again she was so kind and apologetic. I think I'll stick to ordering online and picking up from now on but overall still recommend this location, if nothing else just because they are all so friendly. read more

This Imo's location is the very best I've ever experienced. Reason behind, to my knowledge it's the only Imo's that offers an amazing pizza, salad and soup buffet. Outstanding selection of goodies on the salad bar and they tend to change up the soup selection daily. They keep bringing out different pizza to choose from and the service is generally outstanding there as well. We love stopping by there as often as possible as I have to drive close to an hour each way but in my opinion, it's well worth it. I suggest you phone ahead to check on the days buffet hours. St. Louis-style pizza, as most people in St. Louis know, is about the thickness of a cracker and has some really buck-wild cheese they slap on top of it. St. Louis pizza, as most people in St. Louis DON'T know, serve a really funky pizza. Boy, I make that sound good, don't I? First thing's first, St. Louis pizza is good. Good. Done. Glad you're convinced. Second, Imo's, in my opinion, makes some of the best St. Louis pizza I've ever had. The sauce was crazy good and the cheese has a very distinct taste that you can only find in the St. Louis area - but, as a warning, it's somewhat of an acquired taste (it's called "provel" - provolone, swiss, and white cheddar). I got my third of the large pizza, which seems to be enough to feed about 3 adults, with pineapple and I think that really kicked it up a notch. Went to the buffet they have and was kind of disappointed it only includes pizza and salad. I usually go to the cecil whittikers pizza buffet and they have pizza, toasted ravs, salad, cookies, and a rotating weekly schedule of a different pasta, smoked meat, vegetable, and other fried sides. It blows imos buffet out of the water. Id give the place 5 stars if they included the same as cecils. And cecils charges the same price so that is my argument. I love Imo's salad and pizza, so yes I'm a fan. However, I don't think they give you enough dressing for your salad, so if you order for delivery keep that in mind or you will be eating dry salad. They will give you extra dressing for a charge, so it's best to order the extra in advance. read more

This location has gone downhill in the past year. Used to be a great place to take the family for a buffet, but we've tried twice in the past month, and after walking out before eating today, we won't be back. The workers are immature kids with no clear adult in charge. No one knew any answers as to why or WHEN the Sunday buffet times changed from stopping at 4:00 to stopping at 2:00... and we arrived at 2:10. Last month the "waitresses" and female supervisor were too busy gossiping to keep up with our drinks OR keep pizzas on the buffet. Absolutely heinous "pizza". Are you kidding me? The crust, or what seems more like a glorified saltine cracker, is about on par with the no-name $0.99 frozen pizzas you can find anywhere (and for 1/15 the price, by the way). The cheese? Oh, it's a topping, apparently, and counts towards your two when you buy the "special" two-topping pizza... so if you want 1/2 a pizza with two ACTUAL toppings, you'll have to pay more for the privilege of having the other half with cheese only. Ok... To sum it up: unbelievably overpriced, completely lacking in anything that can be called flavor, and texturally, a nightmare. This stuff flat out sucks.
