They used to have a 3-tiered structure to pay you for your plasma based on your weight. Now, they have gone to a 5-tiered pay structure based on your weight AND Now Height. I have made over 500 donations with them and now they are doing this? Folks, it's all in the name of corporate greed AND (to use that disgusting business world phrase) "to enhance shareholder value." So their new motto, paying you less AND taking more from you. For the center I use in St. Louis, I give a rating of 4 out of 5 which I have done before and still do. My beef is with the corporate level decisions they make and this latest one is the reason for the 1 rating. Donating now will be less of a priority than it was before today. I will also check out the competition. I'm sure most other long- time and loyal donors will be doing the same thing. Give more, Get less! sick, Sick, SICK!!!

The whole process didn't take long however when I was taken into the back and asked question the lady made inappropriate and opinionated comments that should not have been said. The other ladies were very helpful with getting me juice and a chair after my blood was drawn. I am aware that bruising is normal, however mine lasted over a month.

I have been donating my time and plasma to this location for over a year. Several of my friends and…read morefamily also have been donating for a while. As a regular you would expect to be treated well by the staff, inducing management. This is no longer the case. There are several people that are now working there that are just down right rude and cold human beings. There is one that works there named Ashley, she has a facial piercing that is just disgusting as well as unsanitary for the type of business this is. She also goes out of her way to be rude to people, while acting as if she is better than everyone. There is also a male member of management that has over the past year become very unpleasant to speak with or have any interactions with for that matter. (He did not ever give me his name.) There are several people that work there that are a joy to be around, and make the whole experience fun and make the time go faster. (Jaq, Toni, Katie D) They are a huge part of why I have kept going so long. However, with the way that Ashley is behaving along with how management is becoming. I will not be going back, nor will a few other people that i personally know. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. If they decide to do some "house cleaning" or take care of the issues at hand, i might consider returning. But as of now i will be spending the time that I used to to spend there to inform people of what horrible service is being given.

I've been donating with impact life for 5 years now and usually I have a great experience but this…read moretime wasn't great compared to others. I came in for my appointment and was taken back immediately but the phlebotomist wasn't very friendly. I wasn't informed about when she was going to stick me and wasn't given the sheet where I was told my vital signs and the number to contact should anything go wrong. When I donate I sometimes get light headed and I did this time. She was prompt at helping me feel better but once I was done I wasn't told about what I need to do afterwards, and like I said before the number to call if anything were to go wrong. I have donated a lot now so I know those things but every time I have donated in the past the phlebotomist has told me what to do after the fact. Everyone has bad days and my overall experience with impact life is good so this was nothing that would detour me from coming back here, but I think in the future I will go to the mobile drives over the donor center. if I do go back to the donor center I'll make sure to update my review!

I was nervous about going to a new center. However I've been going for about a month now and it's always been a great experience yesterday as we were all preparing for a big storm. I wanted to make sure to get my donation in prior to the storm.As usual everything went smoothly and I was lucky enough to meet Lily. Lily was the tech who greeted me as I settled into the donation chair. It was super busy however Lily took her time greeted me was very kind and engaging. We talked a little bit about the weather and discovered we are both big fans of I need to combat the side effects of the cold weather. Long story short it was a great donation. She was efficient kind and went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable as well as all of the other patients she was working with. You all have a great team. I appreciate the opportunity to donate at the Saint Peter's center.

I have been donating plasma for a few years now. Lately each time I go, it's a pretty chance that…read moresomething will go wrong. I don't know if the staff needs more experience sticking patients, or if they need to hire more staff to monitor for issues during donation, but something needs to change. For the second time in two years, there was too much time taken during an arm switch, causing the blood to clot and me to be deferred for 8 weeks. That is about $1,000 I will be missing out on, through no fault of my own. The machine had stopped and was making a notification for several minutes before anyone came over. Then the phlebotomist couldn't get my other arm stick done successfully due to not putting on the cuff correctly. The staff pretty much just shrugged and said sorry...and walked off. I feel like there is some sort of compensation owed for loyal donors who have long deferments due to the staff making errors.

This review is for the ER. The facilities are not like other ER's I've visited over the years. The…read morestaff were all kind but the facilities themselves leave a lot to be desired. The ER doesn't have individual rooms, it has a triage room with curtains separating the beds. I heard the health history, diagnosis, test results and everything else for every other patient in there. This set up has to be a HIPAA violation. Not mention when the person came around getting patients insurance and verifying info, SS numbers, phone numbers, addresses, all kinds of stuff were said out loud for everyone to hear. And the room which housed 5 beds was maybe 20x20. No privacy whatsoever. I won't go back.

He said oh that's probably on my table but I have no clothes. I called the nurses station so he wouldn't fall. Was greeted with I was just going to help him and had to come back to answer the phone. I tried to express difficulties with his eating that my cousin had noticed such as eating non edible items, using a straw as a fork and pouring milk I'm on his fries and he didn't want to listen. I hung up and dad called back immediately. I told him that the man in the room was there to help him. He agreed and sat his phone down. To which I heard the nurse hoer for someone to bring towels and wet washcloths. I assume because he was soiled and no telling how long he had been laying there. But... then they began talking about his cognitive ability to eat and agreed that they had never seen him have a problem. They said well if the family was around for more than an hour they would actually know how he is doing. My cousin had just been there for 36 hours. Anyway. Got him out of there asap and he is in ER headed to skilled nursing after walking for 10 straight hours and no sleep for 48 bc we were given 100 seroquil for evenings although they used haldol and other things to make their nights easier. Formal complaint is in motion. He spent 2 days in ICU that were the safest I felt for him. The ICU attending was wonderful Respiratory and other attending that I watched in action with his rapid responses that I was there for were amazing. One nurse documenting time of meds given had not set her watch back she said so all of the times were charted wrong. Dangerous in a med situation. I never knew what to believe when he was so mad at people and called them names or said they called him names. He's called me names at home. But if they knew these things why was a neurological referral and exam not completed? I see other reviews that they have no neurologist available. Idk. But I would avoid. It looks great with a small place and staff that have been around forever but the comments I've seen I can almost tell you who the people are and if there have been complaints followed up with the whole "please contact us" thing and the people still work there 4 years later there is a huge problem. Leg pic is swelling from a fall. Couldn't tell which one. This ER says lower portion of the replacement is loose but not sure if from fall or possible degeneration.
