I dropped my new E-bike off for just a tuneup. Doing some reading people recommended this on a new bike that was delivered from the manufacturer. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a good mix of products and they can easily order from their supplier of they are out of stock. Quick chat with Jim and I was able to pick my MTB. Went in today to purchase a bike. And though I informed the salesperson that I was fully aware of the bike shortage, he proceeded to not only talk me out of ever buying a bike from your store, he even talked me out of ordering a bike. Hell, after his lousy attitude I doubt I'll ever walk back into your store again. There may be a bike shortage but that's no reason to be rude, disrespectful, and a terrible representative of the hobby as a whole. Your salesperson could have offered to help with placing an order, could have put me on a mailing list once bikes were available, he could have simply done his job in a polite manner but he did none of that. I was very disappointed. (Update: Later that same day, I drove down to Bike Warehouse in Temecula and Ryan sold me a new Giant Defy Advanced 2. So glad they were there for me when I needed them! Dave did not hesitate to help me when I brought in the new wheelchair I bought yesterday on offer up for my Mom. To my surprise, the wheels had inflatable tires with inner tubes. The valve stems were very skinny and not at all standard. He was able to make what he had work to inflate the tires and didn't charge me anything for helping. What a pleasure! I asked him if he could replace the inner tubes with standard ones that I could service myself and we scheduled an appointment to do so, and at a very reasonable cost. Thanks, Dave! I brought in my husband's flat tire tube to buy a new one, I literally brought it in showed it to the guy behind the counter and asked for the exact one as a replacement. He brought the boxes of new tubesand rang me up. I went home and found out was wrong size, and this I EVEN AFTER I BROUGHT THE GUY THE ORIGINAL IM TRYING TO REPLACE. When my husband took it back next day to return the wrong one get right size, the SAME worker flat out denied giving us the wrong one. He denies and lies in front of my husband. When I noticed the employee wasn't wearing a mask, I told him I would feel more comfortable if he put a mask on. He said he didn't have one, in a very defiant tone of voice.
