I ordered the lunch special of the Kung Pao Triple Delight with a side of steamed rice and a hot and sour soup. My boyfriend had the Cashew Chicken with a side of steamed rice and an eggdrop soup. We didn't get our soup until about 10-15 minutes later and saw 2 customers who came in to order food to-go get their food before us! Updated review. While the food is still as great as when it opened, the service has gone way down hill if you're dining in. The front of the house manager Jackson stands at the register and plays on his cell phone and ignores the customers. After my food was brought, nobody returned to see if I needed anything. Very disappointed in the customer service. We ordered take out and there was a meal worm, pups, fried to my egg roll. I called and the manager offered me 2 free egg rolls. I said I would like my money back and he asked if he could see the egg roll. I went by after work and showed him. Instead of giving me my money back he said it was not a worm but a vegetable. He went to the back and brought out a white onion looking thing. He then offered me 3 egg rolls. I said no thanks and left. We've been ordering from Imperial since they opened. Last week my kids wanted Chinese so I called in to pick up my order. As I walked in there was a family eating at a booth and a lady and her young daughter waiting at the counter. Once the manager came up the lady waiting opened her box of fried rice and told him there was a roach in her rice. He said "oh where" and pulled the roach with his fingers and tossed it in the trash can. He said "we will make you another one" and left the box of rice on the counter. Then he asked what I had ordered and got my food and told me my total. I went ahead and paid for the food even though my gut told me to leave the food and walk out. I told him "You just touched a roach and didn't wash your hands" he then said " oh because I didn't want you to wait" I then told him " that's not what's important". I understand there will be bugs and roaches but the way he handled it is the reason why we will NEVER order from Imperial again!!! read more

Ordered online, credit card was charged and I wait 1 1/2 hours before calling due to no delivery. Called three times and was hung up on until finally getting to speak, was told "we forgot to place your order". Worst scam and will never order or eat from here again. Let me start off by saying I'm not the most adventurous eater when it comes to Chinese food and I pretty much always get the same thing, so I'll have no comments on anything remotely unusual... (Sorry, foodies) This is our go-to Chinese restaurant if we aren't looking for a buffet. I usually order the Mongolian beef -it's the best around by far (MUCH better than Tai Li or nearby buffets) and I always have leftovers! (Yay to no sandwich for lunch!) DH usually gets the General Tso chicken or Beef with Garlic- it doesn't seem to be as big a portion as my MB, but it'll do :) and is pretty good as well. Both have a little kick of spiciness without having you begging for a refill. I also like that they'll give you steamed brown rice instead of white on request (and I believe there's no charge). They have also appeased our little shrimp lover and let him have it in place of chicken (lo mein) from the kid's menu. He's also fond of the sweet and sour chicken which, nicely, comes with the sauce on the side and a delicious spring roll that he usually makes me and hubster share. The wonton soup is pretty good as well. Staff has always been friendly (and now knows us and what we'll order) and helpful and the restaurant (in our experience) has always looked clean. We are close enough that going there isn't an issue, but I know they do deliver. Give it a try if you haven't yet! read more

I regularly order their Hot and Sour soup and it's tangy, just the way I like it. Not good at all. I got the beef and broccoli and my husband got the general tso chicken. First off, there are no dinners and all meals come with white rice. If you want fried rice it's a $1 fee. The beef was odd...it seemed like it was beef but when I bit into it it was doughy. I don't know if they sliced it extremely thin or if it was dough shaped to look like beef. The rice was ok...it was better than the beef so I ate that and the over cooked broccoli as my meal. My husbands chicken was pretty decent. They delivered and it took less than an hour to get there so that was a plus. All in all, I don't think I'll order from them again. If I do I would probably stick to chick and steer clear of any beef related items. read more

We ordered about $20 worth of food and got an estimate of 45-55 minutes for delivery. An hour and a half later, we called to ask where the food was and were told it would be another 10 minutes; the gentleman on the phone abruptly hung up when I began to mention that we'd already waited longer than expected. Half an hour later, we called again and asked to cancel and get a refund. He refused several times, then offered to give me cash if I came to the restaurant. I insisted on cancellation and he insisted on me waiting longer. By then, we had ordered a full two hours earlier. He became very ugly and now we called the bank to issue a stop payment. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is the worst delivery experience I've ever had. It was my first time trying this place out for dinner for my kids and I. When I got my food after an hour of waiting I realized it was not what I wanted. When calling to ask for a refund and of the driver could come back to get the food since he just left, I was told no. The rude guy on the phone was the guy that works at the cashier with the glasses. This young man was very rude to me on the phone and told me that I could only get a refund if I brought back the food because he will not send the driver back. After I hung up on him thinking that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard I had to get my kids together to go to the store. If I wanted to drive I would have just went to panda in the first place. When I arrived to the restaurant with my kids the same guy was still rude to me. He got his manager to come out of the back. All the manager wanted to do was ask me about my food instead of just giving me the refund. He wanted to fix the problem but only after I drove all the way up to the restaurant with my two kids. When I told him for the fifth time that I had to drive up there so at the point all I wanted was my money, he kept acting like it wouldn't be quick. Meanwhile the smart ass young guy with the glasses was trying to pull up the menu on his tablet just to show the manager how smart he was and how stupid I was. When after 6 min of dealing with these rude people they didn't even let me know that they had already refunded me back to my card. They just stood there and didn't look at me. I had to ask them how much longer it would take and then they tell me that they already did it. This is the worst customer service I've ever expedited in my life and I've worked in restaurants as a young adult. Had this been a real franchise the manager would have apologized to me. I walked out angry and upset that I had to waste part of my evening with my kids watching these rude ass people make gawking faces at us while they made fun of us for coming up there just for a refund. If you want to have the worst customer service and the workers make fun of you for not liking their food in front of your kids then go eat here. If you want better food, go to Panda. I'm giving them only 3 stars because their phones intermittently work. Sometimes I get a "sorry, this voicemail hasn't been set up" message. Also, their delivery times are generally longer than they say... Sometimes over an hour. With that being said, the staff is friendly.
