two bowls of noodles and a take out box

Do not eat here. The food here is terrible. But since Asian food at Kingwood options are limited, we do pick up here. Today, they got the order wrong. I called. They were absolutely rude. Did not apologize. Told us to drive back and they will charge us for the right food. But that means our other items will be cold. I worked in restaurants. You should apologize and you should give the food item free if we have to drive back. I will not be going to this restaurant. Terrible customer service.

Hardly any chicken all onions- when I asked for specifically no onions

Food was not good I asked for extra chicken no onions and I got a lot of onions with hardly any chicken

We placed an order for take out and even though we didn't start eating for almost 30 minutes after getting the food, everything was still really hot. The lunch specials are a pretty good deal, averaging $7 to $8 and including brown rice, a soup and a spring roll. The spring roll only had cabbage in it, which was disappointing, but everything else was spot on. The gauge of a good Chinese restaurant is their kung pao and this was exactly as it should be. Not too sweet, and had the right amount of peppers, onions and peanuts in the dish. The chicken is all white meat and extremely juicy. The Szechuan shrimp could have been a tad spicier but I just bit into the pepper whole in order to jumpstart the spice! It came with a good amount of veggies too. The favorite was the General Tso's chicken which I haven't had in years. For the chicken to still be hot and crispy even after waiting awhile to dig in, speaks volumes. If I lived here I would be doing take out at least once a week!

I have been eating at Hin's for many years but just recently ordered take out to take to my parents when visiting home and it was great! I ordered in the restaurant and it took only about 10 minutes of waiting for the nice hostess to bring me my order. I ordered a large hot and sour soup, a vegetable friend rice and the eggplant from the veggie list. It was enough to feed my family of 3 with a little bit of leftovers. I was extremely excited to try their eggplant and it was just as good as I thought it would be! I'll definitely be coming back to Hin's when I'm in town again visiting!

Great food, we compare other local restaurants to Hin's and they don't stack up. Very friendly staff who have been in KW for over 20 years

The first…read moretime I visited I planned it to the T and when I visited their bar was not operational any longer, and that was apart of my planning. So I left. The second time I visited, I had the Hong Shao Rou with mushrooms (Braised Pork Belly) to-go, not a huge fan of takeout and this didn't disappoint and it was good. The takeout team member was pleasant enough. They feature an open kitchen with two tops closer to the wall/glass and larger tables more toward the middle of the restaurant. From the outside it features the traditional Chinese architecture with western building base. I look forward to yaksying the rest of the menu this year.

But the inconsistency has been an issue for me, and the flavors aren't as good as they once were. Dishes I regularly ordered like Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Japanese Egg Tofu, and Honey Walnut Shrimp haven't stood out as much as of lately. Dishes like Szechuan Spicy Chicken is still one of my favorite, and Garlic Snow Pea Leaves are delicious when in season. Bamboo House still holds its place as great spot for group dining. The portion is generous, prices are fair, and overall a solid restaurant that's still worth recommending.

I ordered Kung Pao Chicken... it was really flavor... it asked if wanted a vegetable blend. Honestly was a lot of meat but I prefer more veggies. I thought I ordered fried rice but I got white. Left No Grain of Rice Behind (and Met a Track Star)…read more (10/10) My husband and I wandered into Imperial China on a quiet night - just us two lovebirds and the immaculately clean scent of... well, perfection. Seriously, the place smelled so fresh you could probably perform surgery in the dining room (don't worry, they stick to cooking, which is way more impressive). But the real MVP was Kendall She ran the register, served us, and basically orchestrated our entire evening with the grace of a future Olympic athlete... which, as it turns out, isn't far off! She mentioned she used to run track and is getting back into it. Let me tell you, that explains everything. The speed at which she refilled our water? Blink-and-you-miss-it. The efficiency of her service? Faster than the hurdles she used to jump over. We half-expected her to hand us our fortune cookies while doing hurdle drills over the chairs! Kendall, if you're reading this - you're amazing, and please save some gold medals for the rest of us mere mortals. Now, the FOOD. Oh. My. Wok. We're usually "leftover champions" at Chinese restaurants - it's practically our marital duty. But not this time. We ordered the Combination Fried Rice loaded with goodies) and the Hunan Chicken (spicy, savory, downright addictive). It was so unbelievably delicious, so flawlessly cooked, that we licked our plates clean. Seriously. Not a single grain of rice, not a stray pepper, not even a suspiciously saucy smudge escaped. Our dog is currently giving us the stink-eye because there were zero take-home boxes. Zero! Imperial China broke our leftover streak, and we're not even mad. And as if the universe was nodding along, our fortune cookie sealed the deal: Thursday will bring trust on your new journey." Considering our journey involved demolishing enough food for three people and meeting a future track legend, we'd say it's already pretty darn trustworthy! Overall 10 out of 10. Flawless cleanliness, food that made us abandon all dignity (and leftovers), service faster than Kendall's personal best, and a fortune that felt weirdly on-point. Imperial China, you've won our hearts, our stomachs, and our clean plate awards. We'll be back... probably on Thursday. Just in case.
