Lings has been a staple in the community for quite some time. My family enjoys coming here, and while it's not my absolute favorite, it has decent choices. I now bring my daughter and she likes eating here. She is a picky eater, but that doesn't exist when we come. So a win win for this mom! Service has always been prompt and helpful. Tasted cheap however price was cheap get what you pay for. Sushi is mainly rice with avocado molecule sized salmon if there was protein. Crab rangoons were good.The buffet is a limited selection of Sysco food under a lukewarm lamp sitting all day. One ice cream flavor the other ones were watery. The waitresses were attentive refilling drinks constantly. The outside was pretty with a water fountain. Sketchy area with homeless outside the building. It's a basic buffet. Nothing great, kids always like options, looked like it used to be a nice place but it's aged and would not go back.

It was Sunday evening, we were driving around, and decided to stop at this Chinese buffet for dinner. It was not our first time eating at this location and for a Chinese buffet, their food is reasonable, the place is clean and the price is affordable. So, we were sitting at the table when all the sudden we heard a loud man's voice talking in a tone as if scolding someone. I raised my eyes to see this older gentleman who seemed to be the manager or owner reprimanding one of the waitresses in front of everybody. He was talking really loud, putting his index finger right on her face and telling her to do something. He was not speaking in English so we couldn't understand. Everybody witnessed the incident and it created a very uncomfortable feeling. Everybody got quiet. I felt sorry for the girl. You could tell she was embarrassed, her face flushed. I do understand cultural differences. But... this is America. If you have an issue, talk to your employees in private. Don't humiliate them in front of the customers. I came here since I was in the area, but I must say their "rules" for a buffet are ridiculous- THUS the two stars. I got my food to-go, since I didn't really feel like dining in PLUS-THE-CROWD. I almost ran into someone (including a child running around) twice trying to get my food, so I had to move very cautiously. But the real issue is how they charge you. For starters, they pretty much penalize you for getting your food to go! The normal buffet price (when I went after 5pm) is $14.95, but if you get it to go WITH seafood they charge you 10.50 PER-POUND. What kinda crap is that? Went at 7:45ishh on Sunday night. Very little amount of people that I was surprised for a Sunday. I realized once I got to the food, I knew there was a reason it wasn't packed. MINIMAL OPTIONS. That "75+ options" video they got on here is legit lies because I think that includes the sauces, they have on the 3rd table. They only had General TSO for their chicken options, and it had a weird flavor. Shrimp had weird flavor. I noticed a lot of food that was just sitting there you could tell people were not grabbing certain foods. I had instant regret as soon as I saw the food options. Food was half hot, half cold. I've been here several times, and the food on the buffet is always lukewarm. The only things that are hot are the soups. The last time that I went which was a few weeks ago was when I had good service but other times that was horrible too. Idk who's writing these positive reviews on google. But, this place was trash. The place had more chairs and tables than buffet. There was 2 and a half tables for the buffet. Options were limited and my family felt slightly ill 30 minutes after. Won't be going there again. Also, these fake reviews of this place must be stopped. If it's trash, it's trash. My boyfriend & grandma love Chinese food buffets so we had to try Ling's since we just moved here & it's around town. Service here is always on top! Staff is always very attentive. The ambiance here would be a casual classic, darker scene with the lights more focused on the food. Food is always hot & ready. Doesn't take them long to refill what's low. They have a variety of seafood, sushi, noodles, chicken, pizza. It's amazing. My favorite are the little breads with sugar. But also the noodles with the mushrooms!! read more

If I could give a 0 star I WOULD DEFINITELY! LISA(if she even gave me her real name) worked at take out area tonight 02/05/2025... I asked to get a plate to-go, (the to go plates are VERY THIN sections) once I was done; I thought it would pay $ 7.00 came out to 3-4 pounds more . I was very polite with the lady & told her I can't pay that right now. She said "SO YOU CANT PAY IT" "YOU DONT HAVE THE MONEY" loudly and rude. I told her no I'll pass. She was making ugly looks & had a distasteful attitude. I smiled & told her have a good night she got upset I couldn't buy it & told me "DONT TELL ME GOOD NIGHT I DONT LIKE THAT" being flat out rude & disrespectful bc the total was too much at the moment. I will not be coming back here again ! Very Rude , Embarrassing and uncaused for ! First things first...we came in expecting good food since it was pre-Covid. However, that is far from what we got. We tried almost everything and the only good things were the egg drop soup and green beans. The food had absolutely no seasoning and had weird tastes. My son said the kung pao chicken tasted like a gas station (whatever that means). The general tso chicken tasted like...I don't know, but not chicken. The "hot wings" were weirdly sweet. The "baked crab" was horrifying. Luckily none of the food was raw, actually maybe if it were we would at least have not put it on our plates in the first place. The WATER almost made and my son puke. I literally gagged at the table and had to wash the water down with a green bean. It does have a smaller selection compared to other big buffets but the food quality by itself was better and you can tell the food is fresh and that they do the best not to waste food by over making so much food and having it fresh and also another love is the service !!! At least my waiter he was so attentive towards me he was such a sweet heart he will make sure he will check up on me even with all the other tables he was attending The area was clean and well put together. The other customers where well behave no kids running everywhere( which is nothing wrong with that we know how kids are ) no rude people mistreating the workers or others it was a civilized. Not much is in this Podunk area, and since I'm a greasy Chinese food fanatic, Ling's has been my dinner spot a few times already. It's brand-spankin' new, so it's extremely clean, spacious and has a lot of seating and tvs running games or CNN. How American is that? They have your typical Chinese buffet food, along with the mandatory pot roast, french fries and mac 'n' cheese. Egg drop soup is one of my faves in the city, they have a "great" sushi bar, desserts, salads and fruits. I knocked off a star because their crab puffs aren't up to my standards. They're small and wrapped in that triangular form that makes them rather dry. This, if anything, can turn me away from a Chinese buffet restaurant, since I know it's all about the cheese! read more

I've been to this restaurant twice and Ican say the food was great , but the surver was very intrusive. She would watch you eat which is very weird. When you are low on your beverage she would bring a second cup, reach over you and instead of just replacing the cup she would pour it in the cup you been drinking out of. Last time I was there I was with my bf, and he was still eating on his plate, she asked him was he done he said no she reached over told him to take the crawfish he hasn't finish and switch it over he was able to grab 2-3 off the plate before she took it which still had uneaten crawfish on it. Towards the end she would linger around to see if you would give her a tip. The first visit we did the second visit we did not. And would not again. but I would go back and eat there again and just sit in a different section. She's always wait in the back right when you walk in. read more

Easy access and free parking. The establishment has plenty of seating and a few TVs. The staff was a little dry, but my waitress was pleasant. The food overall was really good. So glad they have reopened after a 13 month closure! It's steady dependable American Chinese food and my kids favorite restaurant on the planet. Kids pricing is so reasonable (3 and under are free!) that we've gone often over the years. The staff remains very friendly and are obviously pleased to be open again.
