Service was friendly, food is good. Sweet n sour pork was kept separate from the sauce which I appreciate and it gets too soft if you mix it. Also the pork was pretty crispy so the batter was nice. My gripe is with the fried rice that comes with my order. It was plain fried rice, and I mean just rice and soy sauce. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for them going overboard with the white pepper in the fried rice, which frankly I believe that you shouldn't use white pepper for anything other than hot n sour soup. It was so bad that I ate only that little bit and threw the rest of the rice away. The cream cheese rangoons were some of the biggest I've ever seen or had. It was good at first but then having the second one it was a bit too much. Overall it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. It was a very large portion, but the 12 small shrimp were not seasoned & overcooked. The rice was not flavorful at all. Years ago when I ate there it was good. Over the years the cooks have come & gone. My last two vists I ordered Terriaki Beef with brocolli. The beef was boiled & no terraki sauce on it. Tyhe slices of carrot in it was undercooked. My today's visit I ordered Sweet & sour Chicken. It is fried with a coating over it, chicken breast. It was over cooked & stringy. I had to throw it in the trash. I ordered to go both times. So from now on I will find another Chinese place to eat at. Most of the Chinese restaurants in Cypress are just so-so, nothing great. Tried a few other local places but always come back to here because they never let me down The egg rolls are real egg rolls. (Not that reheated frozen crap you get from other places) They make to order and it's possibly best option for real Chinese food in Cypress. Also, they have their own delivery drivers. I order their General Tso chicken with Fried Rice -that chicken is always hot and even has a slight crispy bite :) , always spot on!!!! Crab Puffs & Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. - crab puffs are lovely and those dumplings with vinegar soy sauce and chili oil! omg the best. I have a passion for dumplings lol. Ordered $50 worth of food-Orange chicken, kung pao chicken, vegetable Lo mein, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. Disappointment doesn't cover the feeling enough. Bland, absolutely flavorless. The orange chicken was huge pieces of chicken, the egg drop soup was too thin and watery, as was the sweet-and-sour sauce, obviously watered down to make more to go around. The lo mein was like having just plain noodles. I don't know how anybody can provide the most bland meal ever and stay in business. Save your money, there are better places to get Chinese food than here. read more

Really really good Chinese! The crab Rangoons are the star of the show, super flavorful with lots of filling. The pork dumplings are very good and homemade too, wish they were a little bigger though. General Tso Chicken and Mongolian Beef was very good too, sides of steamed & fried rice were very dry though. read more

In this day and age and with all the variety and great quality food that's out there restaurants really need to bring their A game no matter how small they are, because you can't fool most people anymore! We had a birthday luncheon and everyone was disappointed with their food selection, and there was quite a variety list of things ordered. Overall .... Food was tasteless, no flavor . The fried rice seemed dousted in soy sauce warmed up. Sauces were diluted till there was no flavor . It was not a good luncheon. They would do better business if they improved on their food quality! Sorry but when 15 out of 18 people at the same table have the same experience and opinion you should listen! Even the few kids that were there didn't like their food .The owner was informed but was definitely in denial. So we can only wish them luck along with sorry, but we won't be coming back. read more

The food was ok if you're on a budget. I ordered the bobo platter, the beef stick honestly look like a rat on a stick. It smelled questionable and had a gamey flavor. Totally spit it into a napkin. Then I tried my entree which was general chicken, that was ok. That's why I am giving it a two star. I had to say when we first came in the guy at the entrance said how u doing x3 expecting us to know that means where would unlike to seat, I thought it was kinda rude, but I was like I am starving let's just stay. When the food came out it was all worth it. I love the fried rice, beef and broccoli, and the noodles. The waiter was great fast and nice. Being in Texas it's hard to find good food definitely not like California been disappointed in a lot of places but this was the exception to the rule. Oh Dear, I am definitely in the minority when it comes to rating this place. I was excited by all the 4 and 5 star reviews and decided this would be a good spot to meet a friend who was driving in from Brenham. What a disappointment!! We arrived and the place was almost empty at noon on a Wednesday, not a good sign. The interior is a bit run down and they had a sad 1/2 decorated Christmas tree by the front door. The woman who served us was all business and gave us no time to look at anything on the lunch menu. We weren't in any hurry and wanted to look at what they had to offer. We sent her away and she came back about 30 seconds later so we ordered. The egg drop soup was ok but the fried won tons pieces that you can add to your soup were dripping in grease. Yuck! They weren't crisp, they were just greasy. Our food came out lightning fast. My sesame chicken was very odd. Each piece of chicken was huge, heavily battered, and mounded on the plate. The portion size was certainly adequate, but the batter was too thick, goopy, and nasty. The chicken inside was actually good quality, I just don't know why they ruined it with so much nasty coating. In some places the coating was almost 1/2 inch thick. The fried rice was bland and boring. My friend had the beef and broccoli and her dish was better than mine, mostly due to the lack of heavily battered fried items. My lunch special (chicken, rice, egg roll, and soup) was about $7.50 including tax. We had water because they serve Pepsi (Yuck! This is Texas, come on we drink Coke here) and the water glasses were seriously marked up and old. It was hard to tell if they were clean they were so damaged. This whole area is so built up that there are tons of other options. Pick somewhere else. Don't go here. Maybe it used to be good, but it isn't anymore. In the past I had gotten dumplings with little or no meat in them, the duck, which is supposed to be crispy, came soggy, and they don't always give me everything I ordered. Did take-out from here. I got a shrimp dish that was very good. It was supposed to be hot - maybe a little. Good amount of shrimp. Lots of steamed broccoli. I usually don't eat cooked broccoli, but this was good - crispy, even though it was in the red hot sauce. I thought it was a bit pricey for takeout Chinese, but everything seems that way to me. After months of having passed by this place, I finally got to try this place out, and I'm glad I did, even though I was a bit hesitant in trying it from having read the reviews. My doubts were quickly erased the second I walked in. I was greeted right away and the waitstaff was attentive, getting my food and drink out quickly. I had the Amazing Shrimp with fried rice on the side. Both were very delicious. The fried rice tasted very good as I expected it to be, and the Amazing Shrimp was divine. The shrimp was very succulent and the vegetables were crisp and delicious. I loved the presentation, the carrot flower was great. The ambiance was quiet and quaint, not too much on the fancy side, but that's okay. What really mattered was that the whole experience was a lot better than I had expected. Not sure why people look at this place negatively, I really think this place is good for when I want my Chinese fix and there's something that I want that Panda Express doesn't have. And best of all it's conveniently located in the same strip center where I work, so it's very likely I will be returning to this place real soon. read more

Horrible service!! Charged my account twice on delivery. Talked with the manager, Sherry, over the phone, she said she would look into it. Two weeks later, never heard anything! So I took my printout of my bank statement to show her the double charges and she denied the charges. After going to my bank, the problem has been resolved. I had hopes to go to the restaurant to let them rectify the situation first but that was not happening. I will never use them again.
