My husband and I have lived next to this little mom-and-pop spot for over a year and a half, and I'm embarrassed to say this was our first time finally trying it out. All I can say is -- we've been seriously missing out! Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and came out hot and surprisingly fast considering the place was completely packed. There were barely any open seats inside, so we decided to sit outside, and honestly I'm glad we did. The weather was perfect and even though we were the only ones out there for a while, our waitress still gave us amazing service. She checked on us often, made sure our drinks stayed full, and never made us feel forgotten just because we weren't inside with everyone else. We'll definitely be back and I'm already telling my friends about this hidden gem. If you've been sleeping on this place like we were, go fix that ASAP!

This used to be one of our favorite places, but hadn't been here in quite some time. This was our first return in a couple of years. Be aware, there is very little handicap parking and a lot of folks who genuinely need handicap parking. I really wish they added more parking spots devoted to this. When we walked in the place was vibrant with about 60% full with the remaining tables needing bussing. This isn't really unusual as this place is extremely popular and there were many people that left at about the same time. We had to wait about 4 minutes for a table but were seated with a server we'd had it the past, Chris. One of my favorite things about Cypress Breakfast House (CBH) is the drinks. If you order a pop, you get a glass full of pop and a mini carafe full of pop. This is also true for iced coffee. I got both, I can only drink coffee to a point. My dad ordered the "Eggs your way" with eggs over easy, bacon crisp, with toast & I ordered the Eggs Benedict. This is one of the few places where when one orders "Bacon Crisp" they actually get bacon crisp. The food was good, but the eggs were cool, even the Eggs Benedict. The eggs seemed to have sat for a few minutes before we got our food. Our server Chris was amazing. She was prompt, polite, efficient, and stopped by to check on us at the right time (eg when we didn't have food in our mouths). She was quick with the bill and processing the credit card. The ambiance was bustling and there was a ranger of generations from people who were younger to people who were older. I would have given more points if the eggs were not cool which I cannot overlook.

    Price discrepancy

Food is good. Check your receipt. You'll be nickled and dimed for everything, so don't ask for a thing! Overcharged on the ticket vs. the price on the menu...see attached photo. Not cool.

Decided to come out to grab some breakfast this morning. Arrived a little before 10a and no wait to sit down. Server was perky and very nice. Food was fresh and tasty. Yall should definitely try it out. I cannot wait to go back.

Found this place on Yelp :) First of all this place is rocking on Sundays for breakfast that they need a bigger parking lot and more space in the restaurant because they had families lined out the door, it continued down the sidewalk. We were very lucky to get a set for my husband and my self. We did have to wait about fifteen minutes them to come get us. You have to give them your phone number so they can text you when there is setting available. I wish we could remember our waitress' name she was an older lady, very sweet gave us some menu item suggestions. They have a huge menu of both breakfast, brunch and lunch choices. We went with the Skillet portion of the menu, hubby got the Country Skillet and I got the Mexican Skillet. Both good just very potato heavy if you like your skillets that way then you will not be disappointed. I'm glad we found this place just not sure we will be back do to how crowded it was inside. Cypress Breakfast has a lot on their menu go check them out just be prepared to wait places like this are not fast food places don't expect a quick turn around on your orders.

Food was great! Servers were nice and helpful. Also very quick. Very busy inside and they also have outdoor seating

We were seated quickly which was nice! I felt like the food was average and nothing out of the ordinary. My dad ordered an omelet which was pretty good and was the best. I order biscuits and gravy and felt like they were mediocre. Could've been more flavorful. They were very busy and it was loud in the dining room, which is okay just something noted. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, I'm just not sure I'd take the time to visit again.

Was doing some shopping in Cypress and had some time to kill so decided to give this place a try and glad I did. There was a 15 - 30 minute wait. I was seated within 15. My server, Chris greeted me right away. I ordered coffee and was brought my own carafe. The coffee was hot and delicious. I decided to try biscuits and gravy with a side of potatoes and ordered crispy bacon as well. The food came out really quick. The potatoes were great rosemary potatoes and plenty of them. The biscuit was light, fluffy and good. Chris, the server was attentive. She checked up on me several times. Will be back for lunch next time.

Berry waffle with a side of bacon

We regularly eat at Cypress Breakfast House. Today we ordered the berry waffles. They were hot and yummy. I also had a side of bacon. They know how to cook thicker bacon to be crisp and perfectly rendered. My husband enjoyed the cheesesteak omlet and a sugar free vanilla iced coffee. We always have great service and will be back soon.

Brunch Time! I got started with a Lemonade. This drink tastes fresh squeezed and sweet. Nice. Then I went straight to it folks. I had the Cheesesteak Omelette. I had hash browns, sourdough bread with Caseo cheese mixed in. This was a nice size plate, and every bite was awesome! The service was great, they knew the menu by heart. Wonderful! The ambiance was nice, this place gets full quick. The wait time could be 15 to 40 minutes on the weekends. It's worth the wait!

This place was crowded when we arrived we had a 20 minute wait which wasn't bad at all. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with scrambled eggs, potatoes and french toast. The food was amazing everything was good and flavorful, very large portions. Our waitress Kristen was very friendly and patient with us very attentive. The restaurant is family oriented with a casual flair my husband and I both agreed to return to try other items on the menu.

On average how long the wait might be if we are group of 12? We want to try this place out. Thanks!

We went a few months back 10 top and waited 45 min. I think it's worth it given the options in the area.

They accommodated us with our stroller and made it work. I am so excited that I found a farm to table restaurant where I feel like the food is good enough quality to feed my baby. We paid $50 per person for the brunch buffet and the baby was free since she is under 2. The food was delicious! They had an amazing assortment of fresh fruits, cheese, breads, salads, breakfast foods, dips, pasta, and veggies. They also had a carving station with steak and chimichurri sauce. I tried the chicken sausage, steak, beet hummus, tomato salad, whipped feta, biscuits with jam, and an assortment of the veggies & fruits. I also ordered over easy eggs and French toast which they make and bring to the table to keep them fresh but they were included in the buffet. After eating we walked around a bit to see the farm and the animals. Such a cute place for a date or a family outing. The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and I will say our server was very nice and welcoming. One thing we immediately noticed, though, was that the menu prices were crossed out and changed. The waitress explained that prices have been fluctuating, but it did feel a little unpolished and confusing seeing gouged-out pricing on multiple items. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla, and my wife got the South of the Border omelet. We also had the roasted potatoes, which ended up being a very small portion. My main issue was that several items listed (or expected) didn't come as described. The quesadilla was supposed to come with sour cream and pico, but they weren't served on the side. We were told the pico was inside the quesadilla, which wasn't noted on the menu. Additionally, both dishes had raw, unsautéed onions mixed into the scrambled eggs. That wasn't listed in the description, and I personally don't like raw onions, so it definitely affected the meal for me. I think ingredients like that should be clearly stated. The cheese sauce tasted like standard heated nacho cheese and was very runny, not what we expected from a breakfast dish. The sour cream also tasted off. Overall, while the service was friendly, the food and menu presentation didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning.
