iPhone 6 that I've had for 2 years had a dying battery, and I went to Best Buy to get it replaced. There was a less-than-.5cm chip in the very bottom corner of my phone, and they told me they would not replace the battery without replacing the screen because it was "cracked". I took my phone to Affordable iStore and they said they would need to be careful, but it shouldn't be a problem to replace the battery alone. Phone was returned to me with a perfectly functional new battery, intact screen, and a new screen protector for a third of what it would've cost had I let Best Buy replace the whole situation. Great place to have your Apple products repaired! Very courteous and knowledgeable staff. They will not disappoint. Had my sons iPad glass replaced and on pickup asked them about an issue with my MacBook. They did a quick diagnoses and due to past issues with the board in my particular model, sent me to the Apple Store bc they have found that board may get replaced for free due to ongoing issues. The Affordable iStore could have taken my money and fixed it themselves but we're looking out for me. I applaud them for this. I'm over 55 and NOT tech savvy. I have always used Mac laptops for work, because the they are intuitive and I would not need to take classes. The staff here took the time to explain everything to in a way that even I could understand. They were patient and professional. The upgrade work they performed on my lap top was quick and exceeded all expectations. I live on the east side of the state, but discovered this store when they saved my sons computer while a college student in west Michigan. The guys at Affordable iStore are outstanding. Most recently, they replaced the speakers in my wife's iPhone. I brought the phone to them on Wednesday morning. They diagnosed and ordered the parts needed. Brought the phone to them Friday morning. The job was finished before noon the same day, and at a very reasonable price. If you have an Apple computer, tablet, phone, or watch in need of service, this is the place to take your stuff. They guys are friendly and they know what they're doing. I recently wanted my older mac updated with as new an operating system that it could go as well as the internal hard drive upgraded. My intent is to make my computer usable and Affordable iStore helped me accomplish this. Shawn at Affordable iStore was most helpful and completed the transfer and upgrade at a very reasonable price. They do not talk down to you while explaining things that may be out of some people's scope of knowledge. My wife and i have used the Affordable iStore on several occasions and found the service to be excellent and ...yes...affordable. A few weeks ago we purchased two iPhone 7s and the A store's price was good (with an iPhone no price is great), but the service was terrific. They converted our old iPhone information and settings without a hitch, and explained the features. Everyone in the store is incredibly helpful and go above and beyond to provide customers with a satisfactory experience. I had a MacBook Air that needed a new screen. These guys are great!!!!! I've been there twice for fairly little things and they didn't even charge me. When I was having trouble with my MacPro 13 inch laptop, they diagnosed that I needed a new battery and replaced it within a matter of hours. They are only a couple of miles from my house so try convenient and much, much easier than trying to get to the Apple Store and wait and wait and wait for someone to even help you. I needed a new laptop, but didn't want to pay $3000 for a new Mac book pro. I've been to the affordable istore before to have my older Mac upgraded. I like their service and ventured to look at their used, warrantied Mac book pros. The sales staff is also their service staff so he answered every question I had. Upon the recommendation of friends, I took my MacBook Pro to the Affordable iStore and had an excellent experience.
