My wife and I came in for a couples massage and we both had an excellent experience. My wife was very happy with her massage and specifically wanted to praise Mia, who made her feel relaxed and well taken care of throughout the session. I want to give special recognition to Maria, who worked on me. I have multiple past injuries, including a broken neck at C6-C7. I have visible scarring, a previous right arm fracture, a boxer's fracture, and foot and ankle injuries. Maria had no prior knowledge of any of this. When asked about pressure, I requested medium. Throughout the massage, she showed great awareness and attention to detail, especially by being careful with my hand on the side of my boxer's fracture. That level of consideration really stood out to me and showed true professionalism. Overall, the attention, care, and quality of the massages made this a great experience for both of us. Mia was amazing! Been waking up with neck and shoulder pain and in need of a massage so when I found myself out in Walnut for work one afternoon I figured it was my chance. I've always enjoyed the Chinese foot massage places but none are close to where I live, so when a quick Yelp search pulled up Imperial Massage I was eager to try it out and boy was I not disappointed! The place was clean and surprisingly spacious, without feeling sterile and still being comfortable and inviting. Mia my massage therapist applied the perfect amount of pressure to get to my knots while still being so relaxing and found and spent a lot of focus on my areas of pain without me having to point them out. She even gave me an extra scalp massage and rubbed my kneck/shoulders (which is where I was extra tight) while letting my feet soak before my food massage. $80 for an hour long body massage followed by a 30 minute foot massage at a place open from 10am to 10pm 7 days a week? I just finished my 90 minutes body massage which Kevin. I actually called to make the appointment with a male masseur because I know this place is always busy and they do have a lot of male masseurs and female masseuses. But sometimes they are short of male masseur and that's why is best to call ahead. The lady on the phone sounded very pleasant and nice. I made my appointment for 6 pm, when I got there, i told the lady sitting at the desk that I called for a male masseur. There was about 6-7 female masseuse just waiting for customers, the boss lady said I wanted a male lol. You pay first, is not something new for most massage parlors, because some people just don't want to pay after the massage complaining it wasn't good blah blah blah. I bet you know someone has done it before lol. Anyway, got to my room, got completely naked and on the massage bed, Kevin knocked "are you ready ? " yes. I just lifted my head and took a quick glance at him, he looks like a big guy. They got big hands lol. He asked me what pressure I like, medium or hard. I said hard of course. The first 20 minutes was good but then it got softer and softer. The hour has already passed and when he wiped me down, I didn't get no hot stones. Are the hot stones extra charge ? I flipped on my back and he was massaging my head, that's when I think I fell asleep cause I was so tired lol I woke up when he turned my head sideways and didn't really massage my neck as hard as I like but he spent a lot of time massaging my face, then a minute on each arm, massaging my legs, a couple of squeezing and he pulled my feet up and dropped them down, what does that even do for you? lol I got long legs, sometimes I get scared of my ankle hitting the edge of the bed when he drops my feet. Overall it was good but next time I want to try a different guy and do the longest combination. I still tip him $30 ($20 per hour plus $10 for half hour). If he was consistent of keeping the hard pressure, I would of tipped him more. At the end, he was at the front waiting for his tip and gave me a cup of hot tea. I have been coming here for years with no problems at all. I came today with a party of 3 and opted for the 60, when I called I requested all females. We got here, appt was at 830 got taken back around 840 then sat in the back for about 5 minutes and they assigned a male to do my massage no big deal. Going into the massage he was so rushed it was so uncomfortable I told him I just want to do 30 minutes instead, I could not sit there for an hour. He was so rushed I was out of his chair by 905. I went tot he front to just let them know when I called I specifically asked for 3 females and was told they could accommodate them, then showed him I didn't not even get the complete 30 minutes. He said ok sorry and continued to charge me for the entire 30 minutes. I love this place but with customer service like this I don't know if I can come back. read more

I had a lady who massaged my body, and my sister got a male masseuse. When we moved to the reclining chairs for the feet, they switched, and I got the male masseuse. Both were good and most importantly, they did minimal talking amongst each other so we can relax and sleep. Free parking and they open late until 10pm. We were feeling achy from too much WFH during the pandemic that after not going to any foot spa or massage places in the last 4 years, we finally bite the bullet and look up some local massage places nearby. We found Imperial Massage on Yelp with great reviews so decided to come here for a try. The place looks very clean and spacious with a row of private rooms for body massage services. The foot spa services are done in the large communal room with multiple couches. I booked the #4 Combo (30 min body + 30 min foot) for my friends and I because we wanted to sample each service. They gave us the double private room (with 2 beds) so we can enjoy our privacy during the massages. My girl was "Linda" and omfg, this girl got serious skills! I prefer my masseuse to have strong hands and can basically "beat me up" with deep tissue massages so can get rid of all the knots and tensions on my shoulder and back. Linda did not disappoint! However, I did not think she did a good job in the 30 min foot massage, but the 30 min body massage was really excellent. It was so good that I went back to her the next day for a full 60 min body massage service. That night, I had the best sleep ever. I highly recommend "Linda" for body massage service. *You can request to add oil and/or hot stone for your body massage service. Both are complimentary and included in the body massage service. I'd recommend calling ahead to book an appointment if you're trying to go in the evening, otherwise apparently it's less busy in the mornings. Plenty of free parking. We had to send Zelle for payment and use cash for the tip. If you go with someone else, it's possible to get a private room. My masseuse worked very hard to get my knots out, although unfortunately my traps are too tight and those still stayed. However, I appreciated that she used hard pressure when I told her that I wanted hard pressure. They used hot stones and oil on my back which felt nice. Was looking for a massage place after moving to the area. I was a little scared because I loved my masseuse in Long Beach but I hit the jackpot on the first try. I have really terrible shoulder pain and hip pains and usually have to come every couple months when I start to tense up again, today at work I couldn't even stand straight because my hip pain was so bad. Luckily Mushi took care of me, she didn't even ask where it hurt it was like the she knew. She rubbed out both knots under my shoulder blades and worked on my hips , upper legs for a good while. She knew just when to be soft and let me know when it was going to be a little harder (for the knots ) but she was on point as to how much pressure to apply without hurting me. Overall I left feeling so much better! the full range of motion in my arms was back which felt amazing and absolutely no pain in my hips. My friend and I had a bad experience here recently. She booked 1 hour massages to celebrate my birthday on Friday evening. She arrived first and was seated at the couch. I walked in after and walked towards her to sit on the couch. We waited about 5 minutes, and then the person managing the desk asked what massages we wanted. We stuck to the 1 hour massages. She then said she would be able to have the massage at 7 p.m. My friend mentioned that we actually had to leave around that time because we had another commitment at 7:30 p.m. My friend asked if we could do 30-minute massages instead of 1 hour. She said she was going to call another customer to see if they were going to be on time. We were confused since we had an appointment scheduled. The customers that had a 6:30 appointment walked in at 6:20. They checked in and said they had a 6:30 p.m. appointment. They were directed to proceed to the back for their massages. We were again confused. Then the person working at the desk just looked at us and said sorry. My friend and I just looked at each other confused. The person managing the desk said there was no one available for us. We got up and left. This experience was really disappointing. If the business wanted to refuse to provide a service that could've been mentioned at the time of scheduling, phone call prior to the appointment, or upon arrival. Not after waiting and seeing a later appointment being helped first. This massage center is close to where I live, but unfortunately for my friend, she drove through 2 hours of traffic to be there. I was really excited about coming here because it was recommended by a friend. I made the appointment for a couples massage for the evening same day and they were able to accommodate for a 7:30p. When we showed up, I pulled out my card to pay for the massage and the receptionist immediately pulled out a QR code and asked me to pay via Zelle instead. Thought it was weird for a business to request that but I did so anyway. I then told the receptionist that we did not have cash and asked if it'd be ok to walk across the parking lot when our massage was done to pull cash. She said it was no problem and that you generally tip afterward anyway. We did the combo massage which included a 30min foot massage and an hour full body. The experience was great and they really went in on the knots and what not. So here's the issue. As we were leaving, we are saying our good byes and exiting to pull out cash for the tip. Before we are fully out the door, the masseuses come in to the lobby and start yelling at us that we didn't tip. I then start telling them that we are going literally 50ft to the ATM to withdraw cash and the masseuses start saying we can Zelle the tip. Tbh, we were kinda turned off at this point and we continued to the ATM to withdraw cash. They stayed in the lobby watching us to make sure we went to the ATM. My partner did not want to tip at this point but I thought since we had enjoyed our services so much it wouldn't be fair. I pulled out $40 and gave both masseuses $20 each on top of the $140 they'd asked me to Zelle at the beginning. An hour later I get a text from the place saying that they had not received the Zelle even though I had shown the receptionist the confirmation before our services started. I sent them a screenshot of my bank's confirmation and they apologized. What would been a great experience ended up being a not so great experience. Came by for a massage the other day and it was a fantastic experience with a few bumps. Called ahead and they had immediate availability. Parking was plentiful in the private strip mall. Opted for the combo massage for $45 and there was signage to prepay although it was odd that I needed to inform the employee that I was looking for change from $60. The employee seemed oblivious... The combo massage started off in a private room. Requested a strong masseur without oil and the therapist was strong hitting on pressure points without using oil. The foot massage portion was done in a communal setting of 9 chairs where I was the only patron. The masseur wore vinyl gloves while doing the foot massage. It was more like a 5 minute head and neck massage, 10 minute for each foot/leg and then a 5 minute wipe down and leg massage.
