Great people everywhere! From the front desk people to the billing people all the way up to the doctors. They take the time to carefully go over billing and costs with you. All of the dental assistants are kind and gentle, as are the dentist. I had some extensive work done and the dentist would call the next day after each procedure to check on me. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this dental office. I visited this office twice. During my first visit, my insurance paid for the services, and I also paid my portion out of pocket. When I returned for my second visit in January for a routine cleaning, I was told there were additional charges from my previous visit. I was asked to pay an extra $100, which I paid. I also paid using my card and used my insurance for the cleaning. After that January visit, the office closed. However, since then, I have been receiving repeated calls almost every day demanding additional payment for that same visit. When I asked what these new charges were for, I was told they were for "oral hygiene education." I requested an itemized receipt explaining these charges, but despite asking, I never received any documentation. I was never informed beforehand that there would be additional fees for this service. If there were extra charges, I should have been notified and given the choice to accept or decline. I would not have agreed to pay an unexpected fee for basic education about brushing and flossing, which is something patients already understand and practice. The repeated calls after I have asked them to stop, along with the lack of transparency and failure to provide an itemized bill, have been extremely frustrating and upsetting. This experience has made me hesitant to return to dental care since January. I understand this practice is now closed and this review may not reach the office, but I want to share my experience so other patients understand the importance of asking for complete transparency regarding charges. I would leave a zero star if there was an option. This is by far the worst dental business I've ever experienced in my entire life. The male receptionist was extremely rude and condescending. I made an appointment to see the endodontist there and waited a month and a half finally the day of my appointment two hours before my appointment I get a phone call saying the endodontist has to reschedule me for next week. I explained that I took off work and it's costing me money, at that point I asked if there is any discount I can get since I took off work and lost money and he said laughing no. I found the way he spoke to me was very unprofessional. at that point I said just schedule me for the following week and I'll just contact the Better Business Bureau, at that point, he said F it now I'm canceling your appointment and hung up on me. I was so taken back in disbelief about the situation I hopped in my car to go there to talk with them and recorded the male receptionist the same person that was rude to me and I asked him why was he that rude to me on the phone and hung up on me, the moment he knew I was recording him. He said he's calling the police on me. I guess my phone is a weapon nowadays he felt threatened because the truth was coming out. What really freaked me out was he was smirking at me, puckering his lips and winking at me in a keeps condescending sarcastic way. Thank goodness I captured all that on video. When the cop showed up and I spoke with him and he was even in disbelief about the way the male receptionist handled the situation. After reading numerous negative reviews about this establishment it's apparent that the owners don't care less about the public's opinion. They only care about their corrupt staff they have. The WORST experience - not just with any dentist office, but with any business - I have ever had.  Zero organization, professionalism or respect for customers' time. I was rescheduled three total times for the same appointment, even came in person at the time scheduled, and was rescheduled AGAIN... Here's the full story: - We just moved to the Spring area and our family of four was excited to get established with a new dentist.  We scheduled a new patient appt and the day before the appt, received a call that they could no longer see us at the scheduled time and rescheduled us. - We arrived at the rescheduled date and signed in.  After 30+ mins in the waiting room, I went to the lady at the front desk who informed me I would receive a text when they were ready.  Another 15 minutes later, I still hadn't received the text so I asked her to please check what was going on.  She, visibly annoyed, asked me my phone number.  When I gave it to her she informed me they put it into the system incorrectly and she corrected it.  After 45 mins I was finally called back. - I get to the back room for what is supposed to be an introductory appt and teeth cleaning.  The tech takes my x-rays and says dentist will be back to meet me and do my cleaning.  Dentist comes in, introduces herself, and informs me that they overbooked themselves, can't do my cleaning, and I'll have to come back for the cleaning another day.  I explain that I've already been rescheduled and had to wait nearly an hour in the waiting room to only be seen for 5 mins... she apologizes and says there's nothing they can do. - I go back to the front desk and reschedule my cleaning, which they can't do for another 2 weeks. - The day before my newly scheduled cleaning I get a call that the dentist is out sick and they need to reschedule.  I explain that this is now the THIRD time I've been rescheduled for what was supposed to be my FIRST appt with them and that I will not accept another rescheduling. They need to see me.  When the woman on the phone said, "Well, maybe we can see about squeezing you in, but can't make a guarantee" it was the last straw and I informed her I would be taking my business elsewhere. If you want a dentist who will reschedule constantly, disrespect your time, and make you feel like they're doing you a "favor" by seeing you, Imperial Oaks is for you.  Otherwise, I'd go to one of the countless other awesome providers in the area.  It was a 0/10 experience for our family. read more

Hard to get a hold of someone to make an appointment . Use to be a great place not anymore I would skip it

No stars! I have been trying to get a bill straightened out for a year and no one knows what they are doing, no return calls or follow up after stopping in person and speaking with Catherine. They never filed with primary insurance completely as the insurance requested copies of X-rays before paying. Filed with my secondary and they paid as primary and then want the money back. They send me collection letters and I mail them disputes, call them 9 times including today with no return calls. Phone center told me today that they probably didn't even open today because they only showed two appointments. Wonder why? Someone will hopefully see this that cares and help me get these claims paid by the insurance correctly. I paid my portion and will not pay any more. Call me and get this straight please. read more

HORRIBLE!! Wife had a crown there. Apparently that didn't solve the problem bc it was mis diagnosed, she really needed the tooth extracted. Better yet, 6 months later I went in for a cleaning and was told I owed them $285 out of pocket because they miscalculated the bill for her crown. Problem was we're now on a new term for our flex account, couldn't use flex funds for it. Had to pay out of pocket. This place sucks badly and I'd never go back even if I got free services here for a year. First of all, their front desk is next to impossible to even reach, and when you do they are very short and unprofessional with you, and if you somehow persevere through that initial experience and make it to your appointment, they will make sure to bill you for stuff you didn't even do and leave it for you to work out with your insurance company (luckily I was able to). The people I've spoken to in person seemed nice enough, though not very personable. I can't really speak toward the quality of care because I had to basically be billed for a procedure done poorly by this location and am very bitter about it as well. There are a few other things I could list but that'd be a much longer story and if you've read all these poor reviews including mine and still are considering being a patient there, I'd say that you have the kind of patience and boundless tolerance they're looking for in a patient so go ahead and give them a shot! read more

I was referred to by my coworker. I called to schedule appointment for regular cleaning and after providing my ins info was assured that it will be covered by company health insurance. When I got there, they told me I still need to pay $120 and the rest will be covered by ins but they will do two sessions and the second one will be free of charge?! I agreed because I didn't want to waste my time and look for another dentist. Shame on me. When I showed up for second session, lady asked me if I am ready for tooth extraction?!? They had no idea why im there. Ended up getting second cleaning and left. This was in February of 2021. I still receive bills for $357 (on top of $120 I already paid on first visit). Every time I call, they tell me the bill was sent to me by mistake and was supposed to go to Blue Cross. They refuse to email me any kind of confirmation that I don't owe anything or that they are working on solution. Most times I call they simple don't answer or return my calls. When I needed a crown after my root canal and I got it fitted she said I could either have a porcelain fused to metal or porcelain. The tooth was a molar and no one was going to see it plus my insurance didn't cover a full porcelain crown on molars. The full porcelain is more expensive and is of slightly higher quality. I'm fresh out of college without a living wage job plus the PFM is only slightly of lower quality so I opt for the less expensive PFM. She keeps going on and on about how such low quality the PFM crown is. I looked it up on a reputable website and it said PFM crowns can last a lifetime and even if the porcelain chips off the metal underneath will still be able to function as a crown When I get it installed weeks later she pointed out the very weak hint of metal showing at the top of my teeth, which again is a molar so it's not like anyone would notice. And she said you can see the metal and it's not a strong crown but that's what you chose. Wtf lady!?!? I'm fresh out of college and don't have much money which I made very clear. She never offered to file an insurance appeal when I told her there's no way in hell I could afford the full porcelain crown, especially since I had a root canal recently down which cost $500. Then when I go in for a cleaning they refuse to do it unless I get this expensive laser gingivitis treatment insurance doesn't cover. The hygienist was polite and told me," it may seem she is choosing the most expensive options she just wants you to get the best quality care." While I'm sure there's some truth to that statement that's no excuse to be rude and ignore patient concerns. When I had to go to the endodontist to get a second root canal I told them about my previous experience and they were shocked. The endodontist said that she herself has a PFM crown and that dentist lied to me about the lack of quality of a PFM crown. read more

This was the worst dental experience of my life!! I would give 0 stars if it would let me!! Both my husband and I went to this dentist within a week of each other after moving to the area. I had 4 fillings done on my right side, the next day I was having pain when chewing and so I called the office. I had to wait 5 days to get back in only to have the dentist literally look in my mouth and tell me nothing was wrong. He said it could take up to 6 weeks for there to be no pain and I would just have to wait it out. What kind of craziness is that! It's been 2 months and I still cannot chew on that side of my mouth. I am currently in search of a new dentist to fix the issue. After paying $300 (after insurance) I got a bill for $600, I called the office fuming mad only to be told that it was sent in error and I only owed $15. About a week after I went for my fillings my husband had one of his crowns fall out while he was brushing his teeth. They got him in and he brought his crown in a plastic bag, during the exam they actually LOST his crown!!! Literally the entire bag with he crown went missing in a 20 minute period. Then they told him he would have to pay for a new one!! When he told them he was not going to pay for their error they said he would have had to buy a new one because his was so old that it was going to have to be replaced anyway. He went in a few weeks later to have it put in, they glued it in and a few hours later while at work it fell out again!!! He had to call them and had to go back to have it glued back on. When he complained to the dentist and the dental assistant the dentist responded "guess it's time to get better glue." I cannot make up how awful this experience had been and the fact that I am still having pain is terrible, I would go back and have him fix it but I'd rather pay someone who is competent!! I don't want the dentist to screw it up worst. Will never return, will never recommend. They only positive thing was they have a couple of nice girls working at the front desk. Be cautious.. they will try to take money for services not done and if you go in for a cleaning that's covered by insurance, they'll try to add extra services to charge you more. I went for a cleaning and was handed a bill for $80 at checkout. I've never paid extra for a cleaning. I was told the charge was for an extra medicated solution they apply for patients with gingivitis (I have great dental health...). I never agreed to extra treatment or knew it was happening, and I told the lady there must be a mistake because I didn't have a need for that treatment, nothing was out of the ordinary about my office visit, and definitely wouldn't have agreed to something extra. So she replies "oh well then they must not have done it. You don't have to pay." So you were going to take $80 from me for nothing unless I said something?? And I guarantee if I would have paid it and disputed the treatment later, I wouldn't have been able to get a refund. Honestly considering reporting this to whatever company owns this practice because it feels unethical. read more

Horrible. Dentist is so so, but the billing is a whole other problem. I never had any treatment except an x-ray. Due to the dentist going out of town, and I had an emergency situation, I had to go to a different Dental practice. Of course IO Dental care billed me for things that were never done. I get that resolved, at least I thought I did. Received statements with a zero balance for months. Then out of the blue, I start getting bills again, months later. Nope, not paying that! Walked in to simply make an appointment because the filling they put in less than two months ago came out. Receptionist stopped working with me to answer the phone, ignored me for 5-10 minutes for the call, then said "excuse me" and left me standing there for a good fifteen minutes. When she finally came back, she informed me that they don't have Saturday appointments anymore. If I could provide a (-) star rating I would. The General Dentist is the WORST! I went in for an emergency visit. The office and front office staff were friendly. But the service rendered by the General Dentist was sub par. First I explained I'd been taking an antibiotic but it wasn't helping me with pain. She said I had an abscess and I was taking the wrong medication therefore she could not drain it. Instead, she said go to an Urgent Care of ER and they can drain it for you (Urgent care could be anywhere from $150+) Why would I go to an Urgent Care and I'm in a Dentist's office??? At the end of the office visit, I was given the same prescription I'd been taking, when asked why she wouldn't drain it, all you heard were crickets in the room. Silence. No answer. Also, she didn't provide any other methods or means to assist with the pain I was experiencing. I had to google rinsing with warm salt and water, applying heat, etc... All i was told is their oral surgeon would be unavailable until the 35th. So i needed to go find an oral surgeon... No referral... Mind you the quote provided online via myCigna.com didn't math the thousands of dollars they wanted to charge me. This visit let me know these ppl are all about money. That's the bottom line here. Not oral health or care. AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs. Ideal Dentistry across the street does a far better job! read more

First time visiting this office and was pleasantly impressed. The staff was very professional and nice. All rooms from waiting room, exam room to the restroom were all very clean. My Hygenist, Crystal, was super gentle and knowledgable. She give me tips to help improve my gums, enamel and to keep staining to a minimum. Dr Oliveri checked me over and gave me a A+. The entire staff was great [New dentist and staff from a year ago]. I'm been there four times, 3 for myself and the other for my son who got a tooth knocked out during baseball practice. I admit no one likes going to the dentist, I'm guilty and hasn't been in years, but my experience was great and I'm a fan of Imperial Oaks Dental! First I went in for the first check up and the hygienist Eva schedule part 1 of 2 for a deep cleaning, she did an excellent job! Then got evaluated by Dr. Oliveria, she was very honest & it was a pleasant meeting, she told me exactly what was needed short term (crown for chipped tooth) and then options for long term. I was expected a lot of cost but it was very reasonable. Then unexpected was my sons incident, Dr Oliveria stayed late for our emergency and saved my son's tooth, thank you very much! My first visit was wonderful, if I remember correctly (Crystal) was the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. The 2nd visit was HORRIBLE. The hygienist told me "You know you have 2 cavities from your last visit" NO ONE told me this on my first visit. Furthermore I was supposed to get a fluoride treatment but the hygienist told me "since the dentist is taking so long, you don't have to get it" I left thinking I would get my treatment plan for my cavities through email, but never got them. Parents, your child better be a perfect little angel and sit still like a statue or this dentist will not have the patience or time for it. I was so upset, I almost lost it in the office. If I could give them zero stars I would! This office is horrible. I made an emergency appointment due to a broke tooth. Got to the office to only be told they couldn't see me because the doctor was running late and had to be out of the office by 6:00. So, they referred me to the office on 2920 (which I was seen right away and they were wonderful - staff & doctor). That doctor on 2920 Dr. Garza referred me back to this office for oral surgery and his front office staff set up my oral surgery appointment for me while I was there. Appointment set for 2:30 in the afternoon. The morning of surgery at 8:00 I get a call they are needing to reschedule my surgery because doctor needs to leave by 1:00. Could I come in at 9:45-10:00? I'm sorry I just had my last meal 2 hours ago and my husband took the afternoon off from seeing his patients to be with me and to be my ride after surgery. So, no it won't work. Said she would talk to doctor and see what they could do since I had just eaten breakfast and wouldn't have a ride home. I was beyond mad. Called a different Oral Surgeon's office and made an appointment with their office. Called this office back to let them know to cancel me as a patient that I won't be using them any further. As this was the 2nd time to be rescheduled on day of appointment and that it is not professional at all! If I knew they had a 9:45-10:00 appointment I would have scheduled that one to begin with. And I also let them know I had already made an appointment somewhere else. The young girl on the phone asked if I wanted to speak to the office manager. Which I declined due to the fact that I would not have been very nice. I would NOT ever recommend this office to anyone. Which is sad since they are so conveniently located. The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant to speak with. They are caring and patient in explaining and reviewing things with you, including cost and will answer all of your questions. However, I cannot say the same about the dentist I saw. I saw one of the female dentists here and she was extremely rude right off the bat. I had some questions regarding comprehensive exams and her bedside manner was absolutely terrible. She had a bad attitude and was not patient or understanding with me. As a physician myself I know how to speak with patients appropriately. Maybe they didn't teach that at her dental school but I think it is something that doesn't need to be taught. Was canceled by them twice because of staff calling in. Never had this experience to where the business can't keep their own appointment!!!!!
