I dropped it off Wednesday and they said it would be ready by Monday. They actually had it ready the next day so thy are definitely fast but I think I would have preferred they take their time and get the small details right. The ll bean boots look good, there was some leftover polish they didn't fully rub in but minor quibble. Really its the repair on the danner boots that I think would have benefited from more attention to detail. The leather they replaced is the same color but way more wrinkled and its clearly a cheaper leather than the original. Whats worse is the stitching, the old one had it tucked in and smooth but the repair has the old leather more pronounced and it rubs on the heel and ankle. Its still wearable but feel like an extra 10 minutes would have resulted in a better finish.

The little room is off to the right as soon as you enter the Hotel Intercontinental lobby. At first, I thought it was only a shoeshine service here because there wasn't much of an intake desk area like the other place. I was wrong. I forgot the nice guy's name, but he took my shoes and gave me a shoe repair ticket. He told me to wait for a call within a couple of days. What? A couple of days? Yes! I dropped off on a Thursday, and my repaired and (complimentary) shined heels were ready for pick up the following Tuesday. Sweet! By the way: pickup is at the same location. There was a miscommunication on my part. The Wells location called to confirm my shoes were ready but didn't specify where they were. I automatically assumed that's where I would pick up.
